Star Trails was such a good novel!
No, it's a different novel that has been adapted and will be released this year. I think this novel is so beautiful and tragic at the same time, you should try it. But actually, Our Generation also has a sequel based on Yu Qiao which isn't bad either.

as far I remember CXM wasn't a villain in novel, the only problematic character was his mom
You're right, CXM wasn't really an active character, it's true that Qiaoxi's mother was the most problematic factor, but Yintao's best friend always had really disturbing speeches, I find her annoying here.

Despite some shortcomings in the narration of the story of the Ml, until now I find that the drama is still very good! (as the reader of the novel) I still had hopes of seeing a more detailed staging of the scenario because this novel and Speed and Love are part of my favorite web novels. I hope that the romance part will satisfy me because Linghe is a true king of romance and Jinmai always manages to create a wonderful alchemy with his partners. I am still impatiently waiting for the sequel! I see that many here are there for Zhang Linghe (which is great for him because it shows that he now has a very big notoriety) but are simply waiting for the romance part to be able to enjoy his very good acting and his incredible visuals.

one third of show done, and at start itself it's even worst than TPR
The problem is that before entering university Qiaoxi disappears because of problems related to her uncle, and he disappears for quite a long time before she finds his trace and he comes back into the story. What follows does not normally refer to the past only some brief explanations on the reason for his disappearance, without really too much spoiler later we follow the continuation and the evolution of their relationship as a couple their difficulty the accomplishment. What scares me is that there are really important elements of the plot that should have happened in this first half of the story to justify and explain the choices of Qiaoxi later without dragging on, but all these details were visibly abandoned. To counterbalance all this the plot must be modified to not create inconsistencies, because if they want to follow the original story without having introduced certain crucial details of Qiaoxi's life in the first episodes, many people will feel lost and will hate the trajectory that the story will take. especially since even despite very good explanations in the novel many readers did not like certain things related to Qiaoxi's decisions afterwards.

This is how I understand it based on the novel. JQX has always been a loner. He’s part of the Qunshan group…
I totally understand your feelings! In the novel, the story is really focused on Yintao and Qiaoxi's interactions. Their childhood should have been extended and better explained so that the audience could really understand Qiaoxi's story. Qiaoxi was a really reserved and not very social child. Her relationship with Yintao in their childhood was very deep because Qiaoxi lived the warmest moments of her life with her, stuck in Yintao's small room and ate almost every night at her house because of parental neglect. Yintao grew up with her other neighbor friends as siblings. She is seen in the group as the little sister to protect. Qiaoxi has always been on good terms with the group, but only to be with Yintao. The boys have never been very close to him and didn't know much about him and didn't really understand how he really worked. The story of the letter was handled very well in the novel, despite its awkward communication. Qiaoxi's mother went so far as to have his classmates monitor him, some even called his mother to report what he was doing and with whom. He knows his mother's madness, she never liked Yintao and his friends calling them (bad influence ), she even asked the teacher to keep an eye on himπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ. Qiaoxi knew that his mother is capable of making exaggerated scenes so he kept his distance from other children to avoid putting them in embarrassing situations and also because he does not know how to communicate properly with others, used to keeping everything to himself and dealing with his problems alone. The drama did not show how lonely Qiaoxi felt without Yintao (becoming very cold and even starting to do stupid things like smoke), she is the only person he cannot keep his distance from even if he wanted to because she represents everything to him. childhood with YT and the time he spent with his uncle during this period plus the significant gifts he gave to YT during these few years are the most striking moments of the male character, the director did not exploit this side enough, we unfortunately feel the cuts in the story as it progresses and certain inconsistencies multiply preventing us from feeling the emotion of the situations and the attachment to certain characters. This drama lacks episodes but I still hope that it will improve.

I loved Flourish in Time too. Underrated drama of ZLH in my opinion
Flourish in Time is a drama filled with emotions the relationship between Lu Miao and Jiang Hao Yue is so beautiful, Lu Miao's father is such an exceptional parent. This drama is really underrated I need a sequel or a new collaboration between Ancy Deng and Zhang Linghe to really close this drama because the ending resonates like the beginning of a chapter for Hao Yue and Lu Miao as a couple entering adulthood who will experience the twists and turns of life but in hand.

Only 8.2? This is absurd! so far everything is so well executed, I love our protagonists so much, I really don't understand why the rating is so low. I go through all the emotions here laughter, angst, sadness Zhao Jinmai and Zhang Linghe have really excellent chemistry.

Nope it was always 24 eps just rumoured for 40
I also know the censorship system in China, that's precisely why I think the episodes had to be shortened, both because of censorship and also because of the fact that nowadays the public prefers to watch modern dramas with a short format rather than a long one. With all the BTS filmed on the characters' childhood and their adolescence that were not included, it is obvious that this drama was initially filmed for a long format. But for me either one or the other I am not bothered as long as the cuts are fluid and the story makes sense it is also a great opportunity for me to see this incredible duo again.

I watched BTS and I saw a lot of detailed scenes that were supposed to be the first two episodes but which were ultimately abandoned. I'm not going to complain because I still love the episodes that aired and the main actors are clearly a plus for me. But it is clear that this drama was initially shot for an episode format close to (Go Ahead), certain things seem too vague or not in-depth enough despite excellent chemistry and quality production. I know that the director claims that the number of episodes has always been 24 but this does not seem true, this statement was certainly only made to reassure the fans.

I'm someone that, in this case, if I were writing letters and never got a reply I would be done after the second…
in fact when he left they had continued to talk by calling each other frequently, [moreover I saw some BTS where Qioa xi was at her uncle's and he had called her but it seems that it was visibly cut in the editing]. In the novel she knew that Qioa xi's family was complicated (especially her mother) when he stopped calling her to talk about these letters, she thought that something must have happened to him that prevented him from answering her. You should know that Qiaoxi spent almost all his days at Yintao's in his room, he had a closer relationship with her than the other children. Later when all his friends left for town she felt lonely and depressed so despite Qioa xi's silence she continued to write to him because he was the first person she realized she loved romantically and also because she thought that they shared a special relationship she saw him in his most vulnerable moments and she knew how much he lacked parental love and care.

Novel readers,Is there a love triangle/Square and how deep is it?
there is no square or even triangle (maybe there were modifications) but Yintao despite some suitors she was never interested in anyone else and for Qiaoxi there was never only Yintao. But in their friendly circle Du Shang and Xiao Man have a complicated relationship and another friend of Yintao also had a crush on him even though Du Shang was never interested. Du Shang has his own novel and I always felt that he always secretly loved Yintao which is why he didn't like Qiaoxi who was the only one who could make Yintao's feelings react so intensely between joy and pain.
