Title Weaving a Tale of Love Spoiler
Does the FL get smarter later on? I mean, trying to lay low and protecting her identity but the freely telling a total stranger who her father is... Dumb as bricks.

Title Love Unexpected Spoiler
the FL is written in a way that they belive most of the audience have the intelligence of a dried up donkey corpse…
I honestly don't get why the "innocent", "naive", "good hearted", "empathetic" FL trope which is so common in Asian dramas is so often combined with them being unethical as hell with NO regard for their "enemies". When they spare no means to get what they want I have a real hard time reading them as purehearted - they are way too mercenary. Also, supposedly in this show the FL has overdeveloped empathy - 100/100 according yet she goes undercover with the purpose of betraying = hurting someone. Doesn't really mesh with her character set up.

There are a ton of great things to say about this drama, but one thing I'm impressed by is that they manage to keep up the pace and maintain my interest. A lot of series kind of stall around p. 8-12 depending on the plot, but this series still keeps it fresh and fun :)

Did Tan handcuff Bun because he was trying to protect him..... or hurt him???Ive heard both. Personally, I think…
Protect him for sure, especially considering the conversation they just had where Tan just said that he is super worried for Bun.

Also, if it was to hurt him - hurt him how? I mean, what kind of hurting would require Tan to handcuff Bun? It wouldn't make any sense for Tan to have to handcuff Bun to hurt him. Tan has Bun's trust so if he really wanted to screw Bun over he has a ton of other ways to do it.

yes. the last episode kinda dogpiles on the drama tho, but the ending is 100% happy. The show is worth it tho,…
Yay! Hoping for quick subs ;)

Yeah, in this new one the motivation behind her choices are a bit more blurred. And personally I interpreted her as still being in a romantic relationship with Thana when she got married so that was a bit shitty... And weird. This new version has a pretty different FL.

Very realistic drama and the first two eps were great :D totally worth watching! But the angst of the last episode totally killed me... When you said drama I underestimated how bad it was going to be. My bad, but kind of happy since it was totally worth watching anyways ;)

In the original at least I think another big reason behind it was to block the aunt's plan for success. Pissing of the cousin was a side benefit, her main reason was to prevent the aunt from getting more powerful by marrying into a rich and powerful family.

I especially like that in the end everyone called the SML lead out on his selfish actions . Basically in all other lakorns the friend SML acts possessive, selfish and gets the FL into a lot of trouble by not respecting her agency and right make her own decisions. So it was refreshing that in this drama from start to finish the SML was never portrayed as being correct in his actions but rather just obsessive and selfish.

Title Far Away Love Spoiler
There is a reason he does not deny it. His mother did something extremely nasty and cruel to the FL's sister and…
Thanks for clearing it up somewhat for me :) It kind of aligns with what I suspected but like you say - at least the ML had a decent reason for his actions. Though I still think its kind of lame that he and the sister couldn't at least tell the FL on the down low. She is definitely someone who can keep a secret based on the first part of the story ^^ Dramaland nonsense...

It really is such bummer that villains related to the leads basically never get karma for their actions or properly express regrets. Shitty people. Though I get why they ML didn't cut ties, it is weirdly realistic. Cutting of someone you love in your family seems to be hella hard.

Haha - I agree that the first couple of eps. are pretty sloow befire the leads get more screentime together. But I think at least this drama handled the potential tension of the FL dating her BFF's ex-fiance pretty well. It could have been a huge source of angst and stupidity but they really handled it well.

I honestly love the plot and look forward to the rest of the series. However, the FL is a bit hard to take - her and Shao Ming Zhe lived together for FOUR years and during that time he fully financially supported her. They also seem to have pretty good relationship. Yet she just leaves him and then treats him like he is nothing when she returns to China... Unbelievable and ungrateful. Typical Asian drama plot-hole but still annoying.

Really looking forward to Shao Ming Zhe plotting to get with her though xD

FLs brother dislocating her shoulder is just not gonna be revealed and be forgotten??? Seems like its way past…
This!! Yes! I agree, WTF?!? It was just glossed over - very problematic. If they portray violence between family they really need to address it, not just pretend it never happened.

That was a heck of a satisfying episode. The kiss was awesome, I loved his adorable reaction to it when he thought…
The brother is a real problem. I usually try to have a higher tolerance since it is a drama but really his violence against his sister took it too far and I agree that the girlfriend really needs to stand her ground or better yet break up with him or she's probably his next victim.
On The Brightest Star in the Sky Nov 25, 2020
The company was pretty useless and had unethical management, the plot was slooooow and the relationship was very slow burn. For me when I got to ep. 16 I felt like nothing had happened - no development or emotional investment so I got super bored and dropped it... Objectively it was OK, just had no spice or IT factor for me. Felt like it was one of those pretty fluffy and cute romances though to some people would probably feel it unlike me.

Title The Centimeter of Love Spoiler
Just watched p.16 and am kind of speechless... I mean her brother just assaulted her and dislocated her shoulder. And it is the second time he uses violence on her so far. Just because they aren't a married couple or parent-child doesn't mean their relationship can't be abusive. It is 1000% not OK for him to hit his sister and that there are NO repercussions to this from her or the surroundings unsettles me. Sure it is a drama, but this kind of casual familial violence I'd think wouldn't be something to gloss over.

Didn't even think of that since FL took the girl's place but you are totally right! I have to say though as much…
Yes, that's true. He really is totally immature and lame, while at the same time being rather scarily evil... I also would have liked it if this character was a bit more fleshed out. Because while I can rationally understand his character it isn't really shown in the show.

Especially his very stupid revenge scheme is pretty stupid. So maybe ML accidentally made a mistake which killed SML mother. Is that something to revenge even? The ML was just a kid and he made a mistake. Even if that is what happened (and really there is no good reason so far to think that it did), I don't think him taking revenge is reasonable at all. Particularly when considering who many lives he is taking along the way.

Watching episode 15 and WHAT is wrong with Xu Ping?!?! Putting aside his stupid revenge and mommy issues....he…
Didn't even think of that since FL took the girl's place but you are totally right! I have to say though as much as I hate Xu Ping I really like the quick turn to darkness of this character. A lot of times the SML is good for so long, its not until he looses all hope he turns bad. However, if he was truly good then when all hope was lost he's just give up. So this SML being bad from the start and just fooling the FL I think is better - scum being scum doing scummy things.

Usually when there is past-future communication they tend to keep past ML and past FL and future ML and future…
I know right, at least in Signal it made sense. In some other dramas they don't even try to meet in the past which I don't get... And yeah... It is torture to wait ;) wish I'd waited for at least 10 eps to be out before watching ^^
