I rediscovered this drama just now and got in the mood to give it another chance, and then I read your comment…
Yeah, Push in this one is pretty good so I'm also sad that I won't watch it. But I just can't the FL :S I'll just watch another of his projects instead :)
For me, two dramas I watch (and sometimes even rewatch) on YT is "Fall in Love" (2019) and "The romance of Hua Rong". Fall in love is a modern romance, but with very unique main characters, the ML is a total cutie and the FL is very rational and calm. Both keep their characters consistent throughout the drama and it is a very satisfying watch for those who are tired of the clichés. And while Hua Rong is a bit more typical, I think it is a fun story (I mean, how can resist a fun pirate romance ;)
Poor FL, her mum really really loved her husband until she was totally crazy... Its funny how these "good" characters…
Does anyone know a lakorn where the FL doesn't forgive their parent for what they've done to her? I know forgiveness is a staple of the genre, but is there any exceptions?

Poor FL, her mum really really loved her husband until she was totally crazy... Its funny how these "good" characters can be simultaneously very virtuous and at the same time totally ruthless.
The FL is right on point though - the only reason the people try to make amends is just because of blood, not actual remorse. The only other adult I like is the ML, who may have lied but at least was truly trying to do what was right for the FL without any agenda.
I'm at the point where the GF of the ML runs away from him after they argue. When she comes back she is mad at him for not following despite previously explicitly telling him that when she runs away she needs some alone time and not to follow her. I don't get these "women say one thing and mean another" tropes. I don't like it when men act on that idea, but I equally dislike it when it is used by women as a criticism towards men for not reading their minds but rather believing their words. Just say what you mean and don't fight people for doing what you asked.
I also feel sorry for the GF, she is getting bad advice from all around and letting her insecurity get the better of her. I honestly think that if she had just let the ML do what he wanted in regards to the FL and focused on maintaining their relationship they would have ended up together. Instead she pushing things too far and forcing them into a dead-end.
Otherwise I find this story quite charming. BUT I'm on ep. 17 and FL is still in high school and still quite childish. It is quite jarring to think she will date the ML later after seeing her interact with him and his GF as if she is a child they take care of. I suppose I just have a weakness for these old style thai dramas ;)
I think you are right, its like most dramas where the leads just suddenly "mysteriously" bump into each other…
Perhaps its a because I'm from Sweden but here you generally don't really know your neighbours or their names unless you live in the countryside. When I lived in a student dorm I must have had at least 35 neighbours who shared my stairwell. But I honestly didn't know the name of a single one of them, barely ever even saw anyone and despite staying there for over 2 years only spoke to a neighbour once. And I swear its not just because I'm an introvert ;)
Push was the highlight of this drama. I mean seriously, he really made this drama. The FL was not very likable…
I rediscovered this drama just now and got in the mood to give it another chance, and then I read your comment and remembered why I bailed the other time I tried. I just can't handle characters like the FL, who is naïve, entitled, and ungrateful. I wish I could handle it though since this seems like a real cute and fun drama... Thanks for the reminder that it is better if I just skip this one ;)

It did make me think of a phenomena though: Baader–Meinhof phenomenon (googled the name just now) which could partly explain it. Its basically the illusion of increased frequency after you first notice something. For example, you are introduced to a new song and then afterwards you hear it all the time everywhere so you think it has suddenly become popular. Incorrect, it isn't suddenly popular but rather you are now aware of it so you brain pays attention to it. The same with these characters, perhaps they had often bumped into each other even before but just never noticed.
Haha, sound fun :D Though these set ups always make me wonder why the people from the future aren't afraid they'll change the future, it seems like they live in predestined worlds.
Check out the trailer guys ! It's not comical at all. It's very romantic with good looking fight scenes. There's…
I'm gonna watch the trailer, thanks for the tip. That poster was really misleading, it seemed like those too braindead fluffy romances (which I'm not in the mood for right now) so I was gonna skip it but now I'll give it a chance.
yes... finally someone said it... ! there's some similarilties the way they look and even when they frown their…
I know! The looks but also his aura and movements and everything :) Kind of great though since I like both actors so its double the chance to see them ;)
