Little Joy

I've always thought he wasn't that good of an actor, especially with his facial expressions. This is one of the only two dramas I've seen him in where I think he did an okay job🤷🏽‍♀️. My problem is the FL. I just can't with the character. The actress playing the role has always been a pretty ok actress in my opinion.

I'm just in episode 5 of this drama and so far so good, I'll rate it a 7/10 at best. Hopefully, there's some redemption to the whole mess going on in the Bok family with this manipulative Da-hae cos I don't understand why she should be able to play everyone like that.

I literally came to search for reviews on how purely evil and manipulative she is. I'm trying to finish it up though to see if there's any character development. All the reviews I've read here that highlighted their love for the drama say nothing about this particular issue and it's disturbing. I'm just so frustrated at how she's using a man that has clearly suffered so much. Every time I think she's about to have a change of heart, she does another evil deed.

I'm just watching this drama for the first time and I asked the same question. I didn't see any reference either. So, maybe it was just a random name he chose to conceal her identity. However, everything seemed to have a significance in the drama, so I thought that would have been the same with the name too

I felt the same way till I kept watching and grew to understand hemis character. He's most definitely not an idiot. He's a wounded man who definitely needed a lot of healing and once we get past that, he's such a. endearing quiet sweetheart. The FL however is my problem in this drama especially when I got to episode 15.

Exactly... I'm just watching this drama and I was beginning to think she should forgive cos she looked sincerely apologetic but then the friend made a statement, it wasn't entirely my fault and all the forgiveness thoughts just crashed down like that. I went hell no, girl's just throwing a party pity. And of course FL knew

If you loved it, good for you so please don't come for me. But I'm finding this so hard to watch. I couldn't even complete episode 2. Will be dropping.

I saw a comment that said they liked her in the first half of the drama. I'm just 5 episodes in and I already don't like her. She seems highly inconsiderate of Chen Maidong's feelings or boundaries. It's making it hard for me to keep watching.

I did like the "preachiness". It added depth to the drama for me but Zhuang Jie's personality is grating on my nerves and I don't feel motivated to continue cos of that.

Ooooh, now I'm curious 😂. I never saw my demon and so had no reason to go on the page. I'll go check that out just for laughs 😂

I have actually been observing and it's my first time actively seeing this level of toxicity. I've always just either enjoyed or not enjoyed my dramas, move on and call it a day. I get that not every drama is for everyone and it's actually okay not to like a drama. It's absolutely fine but everyone's beginning to make it something personal. These actors and actresses don't even know us, so like give it a rest.

Y'all need help. Fans can be toxic and I see that. It's just acting. She can act with whoever. I can see why the Kdrama and cdrama industry is this toxic and obsessed about unnecessary things. It's because of people like you.

The hate was so real. It was beginning to feel like it was a personal beef or something. You can tell when people are reviewing a drama they just didn't like and when it's now a rant like someone owes you something. I have this drama that's like my all-time favourite but it turns out a lot of people really didn't like it - like really really didn't like it but I could see they weren't coming from the angle of I'm going to bash everything about this drama. It just wasn't for them. Period. But for Lovely Runner, it felt so different. Like I said in my own comment, which is somewhere down below, I was even feeling like not continuing it again cos the reviews were beginning to mess with my mind. Glad, I ignored all that and still pushed ahead. I'm still watching it, I'm not done but I'm loving it so far. Taking notes too for when I write my own review 😂
