To be honest, I thought this was just okay. I didn't like Dennis, I didn't get him, I didn't even feel like he fit into the story. I'm sure in the webtoon his part must have meaning but since they didn't have time to expand on him, he kinda ruined it, in my opinion. I think it's pretty obvious this really suffered from being so short. That being said, I cried like a baby on the last episode, Dong Baek's sad little face got to me 😅
Something I've learned is to ignore reviews what other ppl like/dislike is not always what you personally like/dislike…
I definitely agree (well except the spoilers part but that's me). I was literally just telling myself that this weekend when I ended up loving something I thought I would love but procrastinated watching it because of the reviews. But the difference in this case is I don't think I'm gonna like this 😅 I'll give it a go, though!
I had decided not to watch this one seeing the reviews, but now I realize I had planned to for Yim Si Wan. Probably most definitely gonna end up watching it, then 😅
This was really good. Actually, let me correct myself: for a drama heavy on the love triangle trope the whole way through, it was really good. I put it off for so long because the reviews weren't that enthusiastic but I loved it. The cast is phenomenal, I forgot Nam Joo Hyuk was that good. Seon Ho is wonderful, as expected 🥰
My only grief left is with the mom and sister. I just cannot fathom how you can forgive what they did. I mean the mom deciding to leave is one thing, but I didn't understand why In Jae felt the need to be so cruel...
I'm having a ridiculous amount of fun watching this. So many cool people to root for and the challenges are so well thought out, I'm seriously impressed. I miss Agent H, though 🥲
I'm watching this one purely for Seon Ho so I know it's gonna be a rough ride 😠I don't really ever get SML syndrome, this might be a first. I wonder how differently I'd have felt if I had watched it before falling for Seon Ho... Putting that aside, I've watched the first 3 episodes so far and I'm really enjoying it. The fact that the ratings get progressively worse for each episode makes me nervous but I'm definitely finishing it.
This was fun! It'd been on my watchlist for a while but season 2 coming up finally made me watch it. I don't think it's as memorable as the ratings made me think it was going to be but I did really enjoy it. One thing I wanna mention is that while I like action dramas, sometimes the fight scenes get so long and boring, but here I thought they were geniunely really captivating. Also, the soundtrack is really fun.
I think I've only seen Lee Je Hoon in Signal and Move to Heaven and everytime I'm reminded of how much I adore his voice. I want his voice to replace the one in my head and narrate my life.
I didn't have my expectations set very high but still... I remember being disappointed that it didn't have as many episode as UWMA but this dragged on for so long I ended up wishing it had less. Even with all the couples they brought in, they didn't have much to say. It obviously wasn't all bad. I actually loved Tul and Waan. They at least were connected to Win and had an interesting plot. Bee and Prince on the other hand... They were very cute, don't get me wrong but they had no business being here, at all. There was just the right amound of Dean and Pharm (although considering how much I adore them, I would have been totally okay with more). I'm glad we got Pruek and Manow. I love Santa so this is a biased opinion but he was amazing. I'm disappointed I won't get to add Between Us when rewatching UWMA, it was just so repetitive and non-sensical at times... Boun and Prem are geniunely such great actors, I want them to get a better script so badly.
I don't really know how to feel about it in the end. I think I was let down by my own expectations. I wanted Dae Beom to have the stutter so badly and I certainly didn't want him to so suddenly be able to talk to Yeo Reom. I wanted it to be way more romance centered and just more comforting than I ended up finding it. That being said, if I try to put my expectations aside, it wasn't bad at all. I absolutely adored Yeo Reom and Bom's friendship. I loved Jae Hoon and in the end didn't mind Dae Ho so much. Sung Min turning out to be a cutie was a highlight for me. I might check out the webtoon.
