It was fun but that's kind of it. It was good enough that I felt pretty excited at the development in the last 2 episodes but not so good that I felt guilty watching it at work and not giving it my undivided attention. It benefits from being quite short, I think it was too predictable and already done before to sustain my attention for more than 6 episodes.. Apart from that, the acting's great. I hadn't actually seen Woo Bin in anything other than The Heirs so I wanted to see what he was all about and I liked him a lot. I was really happy to see Kang Yoo Seok again, as well, he's really fantastic.
I'm wondering if it's the age he's supposed to be? Or the character itself, I was a little disappointed. Earth…
It could be, that's also a good point. I was really taken aback when he suddenly said he's nearly 40... It's not exactly easy to buy into it... I was tempted to watch Mama Gogo for Earth, actually, but haven't gotten around to it. I feel like it would be nice to see him in something more fun.

I don't do time travel stories, but I really did want to check this out and I actually loved the first episode. I found it really fun and easy to get into. Gawin is a dream as usual and Krist's acting is a lot better than what I remember.
Oof, Kim Joon Ha is finally back. It's about to get reaaaaal messy 😬 I thought I'd get to enjoy Tae Kyung being all sweet but Yeon Doo is not having it. I'll take what I can get for now, though 😅
I don't know why I was so unmotivated to finish this. I watched the first episode back when it aired and couldn't pick it back up until now. I guess it's just slow paced so I had to push myself a bit to finish it, but regardless it's really good, I think maybe I was unprepared for it to be so slow. As expected everybody's acting is great. They genuinely pulled out all of their best actors for this. I always feel the need to highlight First since he's absolutely incredible (and whoever decided to put him in these glasses is a saint...) but Fourth is also such a natural talent. I would have loved to see more of Khaotung, especially because we only got so little of Kaipa and Alan. Mix is amazing as usual, seeing him and First together is once again proof that these two can have chemistry with any actor they are partnered up with, and while Mix' chemistry with Earth is undeniable, I do think Earth's acting falls a bit short next to him. Heart's character was the main reason why I really wanted to finally give Moonlight Chicken a go, so I'm glad him and Li Ming get such a decent amount of screen time.
20 episodes in and I'm really glad I signed up for the ride, I'm really enjoying myself. Plenty of episodes left to mess it up, though, so fingers crossed I love it this much the whole way through.
I have to stop watching the previews, they always make it look so much worse than it turns out to be. I was so scared about watching the latest episode that I pushed it back til now and it turned out to be awesome, oops 😅 I really love that Yeon Doo had her moment to defend Tae Kyung in front of his family the same way he did for her. I really don't need much more. With all the back and forth and deflecting Tae Kyung has been doing, that confession took me by surprise. Finally 🥰 "I like another woman" was so unnecessary. He's an idiot, but I do love him.
What keeps me watching besides the main couple is the fact that despite all those horrible people, there are plenty of great characters to root for. I mean yes, the grandmother is bad. Bad as in downright insane. "He won't submit to me," excuse me ?! And yet somehow Se Jin's mother being so annoying makes her so much worse. I think it's partly her character, but surely the other part of it is the acting. It's rough. Se Jin is obviously annoying but at least her intentions are more clear than the grandmother being entitled or her mom being greedy. Thank god for the rest of them: Tae Kyung's mom is a bit overbearing but she breaks my heart and she's so sweet, Yoo Myeong, Soo Gyeom and her dad, Yeon Doo's uncle although he's acting so dumb right now, I'll say Yeon Doo's mom because she hasn't done anything annoying in a while but I'm dreading the moment the truth comes out and she goes back to her awful behaviour. Also, I love Hyun Woo. He's chill. I was rooting for him and his wife but I'm so done with her. Goodbye. I hope he gets with the pharmacist. I was even rooting for Chun Myung and Soo Jeong, at least in terms of them being together, but they way they speak about others with the grandmother. Yikes. Also, Chan Shik to a certain extent, but I miss the previous actor. He seemed more caring than his replacement.
Ahhh, I finally finished it, I could cry. I really had to push myself to pick it back up but once I did, it ended up being really good. I tried to finish it a few times for months but it was putting me to sleep. It starts off so slow, they speak slowly, think slowly, answer slowly.
Still, I didn’t wanna drop it, I could tell it had great potential because I liked everything else: the characters, the actors, the story, the vibes, the soundtrack, the outfits; but I mean, seriously, when I did pick it back up, I couldn’t believe I’d only watched 3 episodes, I thought I was at least halfway through!
Once I pushed through a couple more episodes, I was so glad I did. I love a good character growth in the name of love. I love their new hairstyles at the end, they both look so cute. What a wonderful ending. And Tar pulled out some serious acting, my heart really broke for him.
I'm gonna miss them like crazy. Yes, it wasn't perfect, but it really became a comfort watch so quickly for me. They all made me cry in the end. I was starting to make my peace with the very real possibility of Yu Jung and Jin Woo getting a divorce but I cried so much when they finally figured things out. Jin Ho and Bo Mi made me cry, too, I was a mess... The only couple I'm on the fence about is Sang Jin and U-Ri, I really don't know how to feel about them. Overall, I thought it was a really enjoyable ride.
This dynamic between Sejin and her mom is so toxic, interesting though. Between the mom who’s greed is making her so stressed and annoying and Sejin acting like an actual psychopath and controlling her mom, I don’t know who I hate more. Although, at this point, I think her mom is just so pathetic that I’m leaning more towards Sejin. She’s got to let go, damn… I wonder what’s up with Taekyung in the preview 🤔
Ahhh, the first episode was really nice. I'm excited, I love soulmate tropes and with this promising start, I'm hopeful it'll be a good series! I like Title as the main role, too.
I meant to watch season 1 so I could watch season 2 while it airs but I still haven't... I think I'll regret it if I don't, hopefully by next week or maybe two weeks I'll catch up 😕
