I really loved episode 5. I've loved every episode so far. Yoo In Na is doing such a great job. Soo Hyuk still feels a bit one dimensional so I hope to see more from him soon but Yoon Hyun Min is also doing really well. I'm ecstatic about every aspect of this drama, really.
So far it's as good as I hoped it would be! I definitely remembered how handsome both of them are but their height difference... that I had forgotten. My god, he's tall... Anyway, this is going to be a lot of fun, I'm stoked!
Yeah that part was a little disappointing. I didn't like the constant questioning about the alcohol or showing…
I agree, definitely. That plus the drinking culture as you said. I definitely wouldn't have felt as okay about it without them showing that Ji Yu was able to drink responsibly by the end.
Ah, good times as always. You couldn't name a single other drama I'd be happy about multiple seasons but somehow with Taxi Driver I'm ecstatic to hear about a third season and I definitely will be tuning in again. Also, it keeps my hopes of Do Gi and Go Eun alive, especially since they keep giving us little moments but still nothing's actually happened. That being said, I've always loved Taxi Driver more for the vibes than the plot, but I thought bringing in the first taxi driver was lame... which is too bad because what came right after was really sweet and a nice ending. I'm kinda bummed that Ha Joon died, especially with season 3 announced, I think it would have been nice for him to be there, as well.
This was very cute, but definitely was lacking something. The chemistry and acting was good but the plot stayed pretty surface level. Nonetheless, it was nice. Although, as someone who doesn't drink, the whole idea of trying to convince someone to drink and even work with alcohol is... well, it's not great.
I love having two episodes a week but it goes by so fast!! I don't wanna let go, yet... I think I'll be a bit disappointed if nothing happens between Do Gi and Go Eun although I'm already really happy with the little moments we did get.
It was so cute but the time skip is such a shame... I get that they wanted to show her doing better professionally but I really don't feel like it made a big difference. Two months like the first time would have been fine. Anyway, apart from that one annoying detail the rest was really wonderful, I loved it. Oh, and also, as a French person myself, I have to say I didn't cringe the way I usually do when they try to speak French. Her accent is cute and the translations were good, too! What a relief.
I've been living with these characters for the past 3 days, it's gonna be rough going back to real life. Even when taking breaks, I was listening to the OST. I don't usually find it easy to binge watch so many episodes but I couldn't let them go 😠It's a really splendid drama, made me feel all warm and happy.
This was so warm and a super nice slice of life drama. Call me difficult but I believe that because of the lgbtia+…
I literally just paused in the middle of episode 16 when they're holding hands as Damai is picking her up from work to come here to see if it was just me thinking that it seemed like more 😅
Oh, what? The actor who plays Xioa Xia is 17? I thought he was for sure at least 24... Anyway, I love his character a lot, and every one else, actually. So far, I'm really, really enjoying myself!
I really liked the first two episodes a lot. I like both main leads, which hopefully will help when the grandmother's crap makes me wanna drop it. It's a fun change to see the ML with a baby and I'm intrigued by the secret divorce situation, too.
I'm a little disappointed I can only get the second episode on Mondays due to my timezone, I really wanted the weekend drama experience but oh well...
I genuinely didn't expect Pildo's death. Her whole life was a tragedy, I didn't consider for a second that Pildo would be taken away from her, as well... Also I figured the ratings wouldn't be as good if it wasn't a happy ending, that's on me. Apart from that, I didn't really like the soundtrack. I mean, it's a cool drama, but I can't help but hate whenever you give the characters one millisecond of happiness and hope and take it away from them right away. It's awful.
I'd only seen Ahn Bo Hyun in Her Private Life where his character is kind of annoying. He was so lovely here, but then... Hopefully, I'll see him in something better next.
It was fun and really not bad at all, but the thing is I don't think you could ever convince me that you can merge high school tropes and bodyguard and come up with a great drama. It just doesn't work. Just hire a damn professional bodyguard, what are you doing... You could easily have one of them be a college student and the other one already working. It led to so many plot holes... I thought Pond was quite good, though at times he seemed a bit stand-offish when it didn't necessarily make sense. Phuwin has room for improvement but I thought he did well showing that Nueng had grown after everything he'd been through. Perth and Chimon's acting was good and I really liked their characters, but Ben and Chopper's relationship stayed fairly superficial. Overall, it's a good watch.
