This month was really hard for me health wise, but this drama made me feel calm and comforted every time I watched. Like a warm cup of tea. I could actually measure my heartbeat going down. Thank you.
sadly there's a limit on the blocklist of 100 people and I met that a while ago >.> Pretty much every second…
Oh no, I didn’t know there was a limit. That really sucks, I feel like the tone on MDL really shifted in the last year. I used to really like reading the comment sections, now a lot of them just feel like a collection of hate-bots
just curious- did this show get featured on an incel page or something? I really don’t get this comment section. Anyways, for those that don’t know: you can block weird users,so they don’t keep popping up in the comments
I really love this drama, it’s a bit melancholic but in a calm and lovely way.
It’s so nice to see something realistic and thoughtful where people don’t magically overcome the bad things life throws at them - they carry it with them but still try their best.
I don’t think the purpose of the sml still being there is to be a love triangle, but rather for Eun A to finally deal with what happened to her dad..
I think the same goes for Tae Seo, it doesnt seem like he really confronted the trauma of his parents sudden death and his brothers disability. I hope by they end they will all have healed together .
It will probably not be the relationship that heals them , rather Eun A healing with Stepmum and Tae Seo with his brother.
I just hope the Grandparents dont have to die for that to happen :(
I really liked the calm, melancholic vibe!I wasn´t to fond of the beginning, but the more you watch the better…
I think it´s best to watch the drama when you need something calm and definitely not something to binge watch (otherwise the flashbacks might be too much, they didn´t bother me though.)
I really liked the calm, melancholic vibe! I wasn´t to fond of the beginning, but the more you watch the better it gets, especially since you realize that there are no random scenes - every part has a purpose. And I loved the analytical scenes (where he tries to figure out the curse)!
Is it just me or does the editing sometimes feel a bit clumsy/off? Epecially for the "action/dramatic" scenes, they remind me of those cheap short-length dramas... Maybe I´m just overcritical since I loved the novel so much...
I do like the casting of all the characters though and I think the locations are very well chosen! And I love that they added a cat *-*
And in defense of Song Ran: she didn´t realize she made the comment as a famous journalist, she thought she made it as private Person. Obviously her judgement was clouded during the whole Investigation BUT the thing is, she could have written an Article right away, but even though she was sure she was right, she still wanted to hear all sides and waited before publishing anything official.
I guess I´m the only one, but I really love everything about this, even if it´s not perfect. I like that that alot of scenes are slow, it makes me feel all the melo in the best kind of way. And I really enjoy the close-ups of the Main Leads, Chen Zhe Yuan Micro-Expressions are so good??! I didn´t like the music in the first episodes, but now it has really grown on me. Also their struggles and emotions feel real and make sense and make you really think about what people around you might be going through, even though they seem fine...
I can kind of understand why he didn´t tell her about the grannies. I think he loves her so much, that he wants a perfect life for her. He knows if he tells her, she will probably still want to be with him and help him with the grannies - so he doesn´t even let her decide, since he can guess the outcome and doesn´t want it.
Now why are the grannies such a big deal? When your married and have kids, ideally the wive (and baby) should be the husbands number 1 priority, but he has already 4 other people he needs to care of. And since they are old, that is not a small responsiblity. They could become sick all 4/5 at the same time and even with carers, it will take all his energy and time. And I think he likes his grannies, so he will not just ditch them into full-time care.
Aside from not having his full attention, if she stays with him she will inevitably also become a carer of some capacity and be in that world.
Honestly, if you love someone or it´s family, of course you will take care of them, but it is not an easy live, nor a pleasant or lighthearted atmosphere (which I think he wishes for her). And I also wouldn´t want to drag somebody into that with me, if I have a choice.
I think she never fully accepted him not wanting to marry he, because he never gave her a proper explanation as to why he is against it. Just saying "I won´t get married`` might just feel like a fancy. Especially when he obviously acted very commited to her.
I don´t think it´s unrealistic that they don´t know each others secrets after 8 years - I mean, there are husbands that have a whole second family without anyone knowing... Also I feel it´s easier to keep a secret if both have one. It means neither was ever to keen to talk about the past.
I think I can explain, hope you understand.Crashing into Courtroom - he didn't have evidence at that point of…
I do get it, it does make sense, those parts are just not well written for me personally. I don’t mind her being emotional, just in this case she knows her punishment will be worse then anything the law has to offer,so why would she feel torn? On that note, what I really don’t get is why she didn’t give him a guilty verdict, the bus-hijacking with a prisoner transport would have been the same 🤷🏻♀️ maybe it was to taunt the ML,but then show that the audience. I guess that’s my main issue, I don’t need a show to tell me everything, but if everybody has to guess wether there are proper reasons&motivations ,then I think it’s better for a show to explain just a little bit more so the characters get more depth. This just really bugs me because this show has so much potential! Thank you for answering though ❤️

I just finished the rest and love it!

Its the same actors but somehow they had more chemistry as Gods ^^
