AOME and TRHC were reintroductions to Kdrama fans of popular actors that had taken some personal time off from acting. A lot of people were excited to see their comebacks but they both quickly went from ML to SML, if not just a support character on AOME. Not sure it matters to KBS what the people want to see it’s all about what they want. I still have a sour taste in my mouth of how quickly 2 shows that were promising at the beginning quickly became crap shows and nothing like what they were advertised to be.

Hope we at least don’t lose our leads to the seconds in this one and they don’t pull someone out of their butts to ruin the last 4 weeks of episodes for those of us watching and waiting for a romance and wedding.

Her and those stupid shoes. Hopefully they won’t be able to be fixed. 😂

I’m sure the wicked witch will try to take SW away from ES once they become a couple, as well. Wicked Witch will think it will be easy since she is such a beauty that she already succeeded in taking one boyfriend away from ES so she thinks ES will be no match for her and stealing SW will be easy.

You and me both. Is it supposed to be funny that he, who supposedly knows all about fashion, wears clothes that are not attractive on him? I’d much rather look at the guys wearing all black than that fuchsia and orange sweater he had on. Maybe it’s because I’m older than a lot of the people that post on here, but his character, so far, is unnecessary but he and his temper tantrum throwing daughter seem to get most of the time each episode they are in. As much as they are showing the temper tantrum throwing female producer I have fears that she will soon become the FL of the drama just like on AOME and TRHC.

It rated right up there with MaHD’s faints on the fake meter. 😂

I don’t think the ML is immature, I think he has had some success in Hollywood and that success has all gone to his head, so at the moment he is full of himself or as I said yesterday strutting around like a flamboyant peacock.

You know my feelings about her and her equally obnoxious father. As I told you this morning, I watched the raw version before the subs were added and without even knowing what Ha Young is saying it was horrible.

I will be glad when we have seen the last of the FL’s ex-boyfriend and the wicked witch of the Blue Moon Theater. They act like they are already huge stars but I guess they are somewhat big fish in a small pond but will be so glad to see them fizzle at the next level.

I was confused after today’s episode. When the birth mother of the prince and princess was arguing with her husband about trying to find her kids again she said “you’re living with your own child”. So is only one of their children their own child? Possibly only the daughter as she is about the age of the FL? And when she was talking about her divorce she said “getting a divorce in such an unfair manner and losing her kids to her enemies”. So sounds as if the stepmother is part of whatever happened since she said “enemies”.

You are talking about the lady in the first episode that told the ML’s mom she knew someone that could possibly find the whereabouts of her ex-husband and children, right?

It’s beginning to pick up and I have hopes it will get better since it is a little day by day but we also know how quickly things can turn south but hoping this one is different.

Maybe it was just me but I felt like everything about the ending was rushed except the fight.

Sadly it happens in a lot of families after the one holding the family together is no longer there. I’m sorry you and your mom went thru that and sounds like cutting all ties was the only way for you and your mom to live a life without the stress that goes along with family toxicity. Not an easy choice to make tho when they are your family.

I think maybe it just grazed his skin but asked myself the same thing when it happened. I’m still trying to figure out how the Chairman and the one henchman escaped capture with as many cop cars that came flying in there.

I quit watching the weekender and will pick it back up later so I can scan thru most of it. Can’t stand to watch the FL being exploited by her family even if it eventually promises it will show her standing up for herself. I saw this happen to real life “single daughter” friend of mine and it’s not something to be taken lightly imho. I’m not going to watch something that makes me miserable just so I can see a love triangle between the FL and the male cousins.

The obnoxious wife of the FL’s brother and their obnoxious daughter turned me off in the first episode but thought I’d give it a couple more tries. Can’t take the attitudes of most everyone on there so will wait until they all have their come to Jesus meeting moments and try again that way I can scan thru the crap of the first episodes.

I’ve decided the ML is supposed to be a flamboyant peacock strutting around because he’s had some success in Hollywood and he has come back to SK to bring his greatness to help out this hometown production company. I don’t mind his character so much anymore but think it’s strange that they have him say out loud everything he is thinking. I will just be glad when we have some better interactions between him and the FL. Right now that storyline is blah.

I cannot stand the grandpa. He is an obnoxious little man that I find no humor in. I’m like Sher and would take 10 SD’s over this dude any day. His daughter, the SFL, is about as obnoxious as her dad. When she is thinking out loud and does that little look down and to the side irritates me. Every time she does that, what I assume is to be a coy look, I think she looks like she could be a Disney villain because it’s not a good look for her.

Still do not like the mother of the FL. It will be interesting to watch her once her prince and princess realize their birth mother is alive and well and living in the same town. Looking forward to when she realizes her daughter is going to marry the half brother of her prince and princess and their birth mother will be her ghost daughter’s MIL. 😂

I am confused on the best friend relationship between the FL and the ML’s sister. Have they not known each other long that neither know anything about the other’s family? I’m not going to lie, when the ML’s sister had to poo and she said it felt like it was going to slide out, I lol. I have been in that situation and that is exactly how it feels. 😂

Hopefully it will stay what it was advertised as. ☺️
