The trailers for part 2 have my heart breaking from what looks like is ahead for Gil Chae. Waiting impatiently for Friday the 13th!

To me the reason was because the supposedly “noble” man she was going to marry, had his men let her dad, whose brain didn’t withstand the conflict and he is now like a child, roam off and not be found while she was with Jang Hyun. Once she found out her dad was missing her a-hole soon to be husband had proven to her that there was no one to watch over her dad if she left with Jang Hyun so no matter how much she loved JH she couldn’t turn her back on her dad. Using her dad was her soon-to-be husband’s way to control her and I’m sure will continue to be used against her if she followed thru with the marriage which I don’t see she had a way out of. But have read some interesting theories as to why she couldn’t marry him such as, Ryang Eun kidnaps her but just watched the first teaser from part 2 and her hair is up signifying she is married.

Hopefully we get some more ML/FL time together at the beginning of the next episode. I wish they would give the leads as much time together as the SFL is getting with ML. After last daily and weekender, I learned how easy it is for KBS to step in and change the writers minds mid story by making one or both seconds into main. Praying no one at KBS thinks the SFL and the ML look good together and think their story is cute so she ends up being the lead. I have zero trust in any show at this point but trying to stay positive that this one will stay on the course it started out on.

It’s been slow leading up to it but is interesting finding out their “secrets” as we go along.

Confirmation that chicken frying wife was cause of divorce. Ex-wife caught them “talking” at his current wife’s house after he didn’t come home all night. Not sure of relationship between ex wife and current wife but ex said it was worse because of who she was. But think weird sister planted the seed and when birth mom said she could forgive them for the divorce but never for taking her kids, the look on the weird sisters face leads me to believe she definitely had a part in her sister not being able to see her kids. Like Lunkera said, I think it was probably $$$ signs in her eyes if her sister had met her rich husband by then.

SFL was even more annoying than usual with her fake hurt ankle act and she thinks she is a shoe-in for marrying the ML because of a car ride that was forced on him. He again turned his head and made a face about what she was saying in the car but she refuses to see he isn’t interested. I will stop now so anyone reading this doesn’t know everything that happened in today’s episode.

Literally runs into! 😂 Of course, we know who fake concerned “mother frying hen” runs into at the theater…the ex and the wicked witch of the theater. I am hoping they both try out for parts in the movie(s) and get rejected or only the ex makes it so the wicked witch has to watch him act with FL (I think she will get a part). Poetic justice!

The SFL/co-worker fight was a real nothing-burger. Ended up part of it being a set up for the hag to get ML attention and concern. It seems like current hateful chicken frying wife was at least partly or fully the cause of the divorce and by look on the sister’s face after the birth mom’s speaking about the memory of finding her husband with the chicken fryer, sister may have instigated the situation or had something to do with it. Watched the raw version so looking forward to finding out when subs come out to see if I’m anywhere close to being right. Probably not, but hope springs eternal. 😂

ML’s acting still seems a little stiff but I think it’s gotten better these last episodes so I think he’s finally settling into his part. The facial expressions he made and his remarks about all the oyster dishes and his mom and dad’s flirting seemed a lot more natural so hopefully he is losing the nerves or is just feeling more comfortable. Agree the cat reminding him of FL was a cute scene. Wish he’d have followed FL when he thought he saw her and not stayed at or gone back to his welcome party. Much rather see the cute flirty bickering between those two than the SFL at any time.

I would have been so embarrassed to know he saw thru my trick of trying to attract his attention with the scarf that I wouldn’t have even wanted to be at the party no less sit beside him.

Looking forward to the drunken argument/fight at the welcome party next episode and hope SFL gets embarrassed being called out by the other gal on her obsession with the ML but she really seems to have no shame at all about anything she does. I think there will probably be a fight that the cops get called and the SML will respond to even tho he works in the violent crimes division.

The meeting and conversation between the little boy and the oldest daughter (who I call Princess) was the best part of today. That and the ML telling SFL he knew about her scarf and purposely ignored it!! 😂😂😂

Yes. The only good thing I can say about the dad at this point is at least he is interested in FL’s life enough to help her run lines and talks to her when every one else in that perfect family 🤮 are treating her like a ghost.

I hope so but probably won’t happen, at least for a while, since she is the daughter of the ex-husband and woman who “stole” her birth children. The poor FL needs a mother figure that does more than scream and find fault with her every breath but yet praises the princess and prince (who aren’t even her birth children) for nothing constantly. It really is sickening. I really disliked MaHD from AOME but, so far, this woman deserves the crown for worst mother to her own child ever.

That everything oyster dinner scene was funny. I can’t quite put my finger on the odd relationship between the sisters but feel like the not married one is very envious of both of her sister’s marriages? Will be interesting if she has known all along where the kids are at. Something fishy about her. Also have wondered if she will be the old man’s new love interest. They probably would be a good couple.

Speaking of FL mother and her stepson he is just as gross toward her as she is to him. But guess they aren’t related so the writers think that it’s okay. I’ve known a lot of mom’s whose sons are buff and not one of them has acted that way toward their son. Also, amazing to me how much pain she was in and badmouthing the FL and her husband like she always does until that stepson walked in and she moved around and bounced without one shred of pain. Just biding the time until the birth mom is brought in and see what lies the dad and stepmother told when the daughter and son were crying for their real mom when they were first taken from her.

HY…nothing good to say. The SML needs to pull the lining up around the heel of that shoe and take a nail and drive it in there and then put the lining back in. This guy deserves better than the SFL unless she does a complete turn around because she will always be delusional and boss the SML around constantly and I can’t stand that.

I thought MaHD was the queen of manipulating people to get her way but think she is giving that place to this witch. But at least this one gets hers blown up in her face quite often.

Just waiting for her to beat on her chest. 😂😂

Honestly, the SFL on UF is grating on my last nerve so I may have to step away from it for a week and come back when maybe she isn’t so obnoxious or I can scan thru her parts.

There is nothing likeable about HY the SFL. I watch the raw version after Kocowa uploads it just to see how even more ridiculous she looks without knowing what she is saying. I guess she is blaming EH, the SML, for the heel breaking off that ugly pair of shoes and guilting him into either having the ones she has fixed or buying her a new pair. Dude needs to go to the SK version of Payless Shoes and get them for $20 if she succeeded into guilting him into buying her new ones. Personally, I think he needs to find the nearest trash can and dump them since her throwing temper tantrums and stomping her feet, because ML did not show up for what she set up as dates, is the cause of that stupid heel breaking. I hope they do some major development on her character because right now I hope they bring on someone else for the SML.

Sorry to those of you who like her but this is my humble opinion of her.
