We must be watching two different versions because what you have described is not what has happened in the version I’m watching. But we all see things in our own perspective and I for one am enjoying it and have been counting the days until today when part 2 started.

It’s easier to call them ML, FL, SFL, SML than remember names this early in the drama. 😬

One of my favorite parts this week was the little boy meeting the HSN hostess sister and cutting her ego to shreds. I laughed!

So far she has been good. I wish she would quit confiding in her sister because I don’t trust that sister as far as I could throw her.

Still not a fan of the chicken fryer but she at least took up for FL against her ex and was pretty funny even not knowing what was being said. 😂 I think ML took SFL out for coffee after work so here we go again with the leads not interacting.

To me there was no surprise or guilt on either of the faces of the home wrecker or the birth mom’s husband. It was like “oh well, who cares” attitude for both of them. I am convinced that chicken cook knows that birth mom didn’t desert her kids and that’s why they quickly moved to the Philippines.

You are probably right on her using the SML for that purpose at some point. I hope the powers that be change who the SML is paired with. I really wish the FL’s BFF wasn’t the SML half sister because I think they would be a cute couple. SFL delusion of trying to keep the romantic mood from the night before going with the ML was enough to make me roll my eyes…more than once. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

I think the only thing that would help at this point is for her to be called away on an emergency never to return.

Just going to say this about today’s episode SFL is trying to figure out how to continue the romantic mood of her time with the ML from the night before today. Also thinks she will be ordering wedding invitations soon. Never once have I seen a sweater unravel in that pattern so not sure whose brilliant idea that was but it was not well thought out. Lastly, birth mom watching the HSN telecast and talking about the hostess was funny! More insight into the backstory of the original wife and husband. And most importantly the preview shows FL’s bff asking ML again for advice to burn FL’s nasty ex who insults her again to her face. Love the BFF!

There are a lot of repeats of storylines gone bad in the original dramas in this one. Hopefully they will get them right this time around!

My dad always said my mom and I were exactly alike in temperament and we had some screaming matches as I was growing up and into my 20’s but even as much as I know I disappointed my mom and made her boiling mad, at times, she never once had a look of pure evil hatred on her face at any point of our fights. Never once did she tell me to pack my room up and leave the house. I threatened to once during an argument and she cried like I had said the most awful thing I could have ever said to her.

From now until she shows her flesh and blood daughter as much love as she does her step children, I will refer to this woman as the chicken cook or the home wrecker but I refuse to give her the gift of being called mom.

Just watched the raw version and I can honestly say the chicken fryer has no business being a “mom”. I’m going to call her chicken fryer now because she isn’t her Princess and Prince’s birth mother and she is a horrible excuse of a mother to her flesh and blood daughter. Gosh, I hope FL and ML’s mom hit it off so she at least has one mom that treats her as a daughter should be treated.

Oh great, guess we will have to listen to the chicken fryer mom lay into the FL tomorrow for being fired. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t hold out any hope of her ever being nice to the daughter she gave birth to.

I kind of think his current wife was a willing participant. Maybe not a part of the whole scheme but was willing to be found with the other woman’s husband. She didn’t seem at all surprised when his then wife walked in on them and she didn’t try to pull away or correct the misunderstanding (not sure there actually was one). I know the guy is supposed to be a simple minded or has been hen pecked so much by current wife he has no confidence in himself but come on, he really thought after it looked as if he spent the night with this woman and was caught holding her hand in what looked like an intimate conversation that his then wife was going to be cool with that? Sounds like the chicken wife and her now husband had some history together either before or during the marriage that included him having feelings for her. Not sure by the way she acts now why he would even be attracted but to each their own. And obviously it didn’t take a minute for her to replace the wife and birth mother in his life.

But I think whatever the sister did all boils down to jealousy over her sister having this Alain Delon looking husband. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but he is and was far from Alain Delon. 😂

I have read several people say they wait until the weekend and watch the week’s episodes back to back, because of the slow pace, so that might be an option if you don’t want to have to wait until the end.

Why could the guy that said he lived closest to her not insist on taking her home? I think that is one of the designated driver services and that’s ML’s car since he was drinking too.

The poor gal’s ankle was so badly hurt I’m sure she couldn’t think because of the pain to call a taxi (sarcasm). 🤮 Also surprised she isn’t making her co-worker buy her a new pair of puke free shoes.

The sad thing is both male leads in these shows were just coming back to making dramas after taking a few years off and they were treated unfairly.

Apple Of My Eye writers pretty much made SML the ML and the FML didn’t even get to be SML but seemed he was dropped to a little more than a support role. Too much time was spent on every storyline the SML was in. ML only got more camera time in the last month or so only because they brought his dead wife back to life and she decided she wanted him back even tho he was in love and in a relationship with the FL. But it was one of those shows where he went to sleep after a concussion and when he woke back up it seemed like it was months later. I kept saying it was all going to end up being a nightmare he was having due to the concussion but no it actually was happening. After a month of fighting the resurrected wife the last episode for about 5 minutes showed them at the beach with his daughter on their honeymoon. No wedding just a few minutes of blah honeymoon. 😂

Second drama was weekender, The Real Has Come. The SML and SFL took over as lead actors and they were pure evil but then at the end were saints with halos glowing above their heads. This is the one I read KBS stepped in and made them change the plot so the actual show is no where near what the original show was advertised as, just like Apple Of My Eye ended up the same way.

The teasers that have come looks like Gil Chae has a hard path to walk in front of her.

Makes me wonder if the current wife and the sister didn’t work together to set up the whole scenario.

I think it will be interesting, even tho the hateful hag has been the Princess and Prince’s mom for 30 years how they will react when they find out their “mom” was the cause of the divorce that separated them from their birth mom. Since it’s a comedy they probably won’t even explore that but I think they should. Just told Lunkera it will not surprise me that the current wife and the sister didn’t work together to set up the whole thing for their own selfish purposes.
