I don’t like the rich husband either. He seems a bit like the chicken fryer. Only difference is the birth mom seems to be able to charm him out of his hatefulness. So those would be my four at this point.

I think today proved the dad didn’t want to keep their kids away from their birth mother. I feel like the chicken fryer pushed the move to the Philippines to get her husband away from his ex-wife because I don’t think he wanted to divorce her. But since the 3 kids said today that the family didn’t do anything the chicken fryer didn’t like or didn’t want to do, she obviously is the hateful boss and the husband isn’t allowed to have his own thoughts. And seems from the oldest daughter’s interactions with the little boy, that she is the chicken fryer’s mini-me.

I thought they always referred to the oldest male child but guess not according to this particular drama. 😂

In Five Enough the FL is always referred to as only her oldest son’s mom. I remember thinking that it was really strange at the time but got used to it. She had her ex-husband’s caller ID as her “son’s dad”. Can’t remember her son’s name. So it must be a custom.

It was a slow at the beginning and some of the actors were a bit stiff but think everyone is settling into their roles now and the storyline is getting better every day.

The ending scene where Seon Joo is trying to get away with Eun Seung without her brother seeing her was funny. Another day in SFL/ML paradise if you like that pairing. Too bad she doesn’t use that fake charm with everyone she deals with especially SML. I’m beginning to think that she may be taking over the FL spot already as much time as they spend on her character with everyone especially the ML compared to what little nibbles we get of FL. SFL character is so fake it’s hard for me to find the character funny.

Episode 2 when JH took the Crown Prince to the place where the Joseon prisoners were being held and the atrocities that his people were being afflicted but yet his father, the king of Joseon, has done everything he can to make sure his life in Joseon stays comfy while sending his son or adopted son as a hostage was a great scene. I’ve thought from the start that king will do anything so his way of life doesn’t change but will his people starve and suffer because of his stubbornness.

When she batted those doe eyes at him after his slo-mo walk to her she reminded me of the animation of Clarice in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. But Clarice was cute when she did it at Rudolph where as SFL misses that mark by a long shot. 😂

Watched raw but looks like this week off to a good start. Chicken fryer and daughter seem to be bonding. Again SFL is getting most the screen time. I’m tired of her character and we are only 18 episodes in.

I thought the man Gil Chae ended up marrying was an a-hole even before he told the soldiers he commanded to let her dad roam off on the day Gil Chae was with Jang Hyun in order to make her come back and stay with him by showing her exactly what would happen if she dared leave him, but he has really amped up what a horrible person he is in the 2nd part and we are just 2 episodes in. If the a-hole hadn’t been in a jealous rage and listened to and believed what the little boy and Ryang Eum said instead of accusing RE of colluding with Jang Hyung to take his wife away and actually had sent his soldiers on horseback instead of Ryang Eum and Yeon Jim on foot while he sat at home doing nothing but fuming like a world class jerk then maybe she wouldn’t have gotten all the way to the Qing dynasty. Is it bad that I’m hoping for a brutal nasty death for him after he let her believe he took on and killed 17 barbarians to protect her and now what he is letting her go thru while claiming he loves her?

Hopefully we start getting some more screen time with the cat and the jacket and a lot less of Ms De LuLu!!

Me too. Mine came from growing up on a farm. We were girly girls but we knew a lot about farming. Lots of times I probably should have gone to ER but I “rubbed some dirt on it” and went about my business. 😂

We must not be as girly as some. 😂

Must be the fashion because I see this in a lot of dramas. What drives me crazy is when they wear socks and dress shoes or socks and tennis shoes with those short pants.

I don’t get the fear of being hit by a basketball. It rattles you for a minute but it’s not like being hit in the head with a softball or baseball at high speed. From experience that hurts even if it’s not a head shot. Plenty of softball laced bruises when I was younger.

Sorry if I annoyed you by complaining about the things I don’t like about the show. Won’t happen again because as you said it’s not that serious.

Part 2 started off just as excellent as it left off at the end of part 1!
