Liking this so far but does anyone know why they release both of the weeks episodes on Saturday, rather than spacing it out to Saturday & Sunday? Not that I'm complaining lol, I've just never seen that done before.

I think it might be a bit quicker now that the show is over halfway done but generally I noticed eng subs get around 90% on viki at 11 pm cst (or 8pm pst). Dramahood uploaded partially done subs (like 88%) at like 7-8 pm cst last week. I dunno about other sites, though I think it's around the same. Generally I just wait till midnight or the next day before watching so I know the subs will be done.

That's an interesting point. However in the last episode (12) Gang doo clearly gripped his leg in pain before going for his pills and then deciding against it. I don't think the pills could be antidepressants after seeing him directly correlate them with his leg pain.
It's very likely though, like you said, that to a certain degree his leg pain is psychosomatic so being around Moon-soo lessened it so much he didn't feel the need to take them as much anymore but the stress before and after Grandma's death caused him to rely on them again. That actually explains the reason behind Grandma saying she added mostly supplements a lot better, because the pain is mostly psychological ( or at least maybe the big bursts) even the supplements help because it's a placebo. But I guess we'll find out exactly what's going on this week or next :)
So I'm probably waaaay off on this, but after watching today's episode I was upset about this possibly becoming another uncontrollably fond and I had time to kill so I was researched a bit about different large blue oval pills (goodrx.com) with only one side with an indentation on it(I didn't get to see exactly what was branded on the pills in the preview).
If they are actually using a pill/medicine that exists then there's a slim chance it could be Viibryd (Vilazondone hydrochloride) ( goodrx.com/viibryd ).
Obviously I'm no doctor/psychiatrist, just someone who had time to kill, and the color seems lighter than the pills she had in her hand. But it is an antidepressant and among other things may increase/cause bleeding problems, including nosebleeds ( everydayhealth.com/drugs/viibryd and https://www.nami.org/Learn-More/Treatment/Mental-Health-Medications/Vilazodone-(Viibryd) ) and that risk is increased with use of aspirin or NSAIDs. It kinda makes sense that halmeoni could have given him some sort of antidepressant or something to cope and mixed it with something else to lower the chances of him taking too many. I don't think she ever explicitly said the pills were for his knee pain, she could have been referring to mental pain. Of course then that raises the question of if he knew what it was and if he didn't, how was he coping with his pain if he thought they were some sort of painkiller, so maybe not. Also viibryd is really expensive (260-90 for 30 pills) and obvs she wasn't getting it on insurance or something (and one would think illegally bought medicine would cost even more but who knows) and the color is off.
So my ramblings will probably be proven false, but it could be some other antidepressant, perhaps, or something to treat something completely benign. Or he could just be dying, that'd suck tho lol.

Yeah I don't think I'll be renewing next month or at most after BTIMFT ends, hopefully tho some good dramas will come out after this run and they'll pick them up. Maybe I'll consider them again then. I can't afford the 10 dollar pass, well I mean i technically could but I feel like there's better ways to spend that $50 extra for me. I'm a semi-broke student so lol

They are lateish with the subbing nowadays, even with popular dramas, at least when compared to other sites. But their subs tend to be more accurate.
I actually only renewed my subscription with them this month because I saw they were subbing this drama but I've found myself watching the episodes somewhere else first. Plus with them having the one other airing drama I'm interested in only available with the kocowa pass I basically just rewatch a few things on there now.
Idk, I guess for me they're good for legitimacy and how easy it is to watch/rewatch on a tablet or phone but for my actually initial viewings I go elsewhere now.
So viki hasn't even released the raws for ep 5 yet and the day is almost up. Weird. But not like there aren't other means to watch.
Loved today's episode. Ji ho's mom made me tear up quite a bit. Also for some reason I really like that the last scene didn't have music underplaying it. Maybe it made the moment feel more real(?) I dunno, but I really liked that little detail.
Oh man that second episode was heavy. Real different from the first. I was crying when TL Choi was brought to his wife and son's body. So heartbreaking to have to go through that.
I was also sad for Min Joon during the second ep, he looked so vulnerable. It's sad that the family of people who do such things can't really mourn, even though it was absolutely horrible what his brother did they were still brothers and it makes perfect sense he'd mourn his death. It's sad that he, despite having nothing to do with it got lumped in with his brother. I understand people "need" someone to blame, but his little brother? Man.
It's sad for all families involved. Ah man I hope his brother really didn't do that, but from the evidence/what we saw it's seems kinda impossible he didn't. Who knows tho. Min joon seems like he's on some sort of vendetta for his brother.
