I just binge watched the series and now I find out there is 24 episodes! I have not watched the original but I am getting the feeling thats It's going to be a angsty ride judging by some of the comments! I don't mind the angst as long as there is a HEA ending for Wu Bi and Su Yu. Also, someone drop that witch already! I get the urge to throw something at the screen everything she's stirring the pot. This my first Chinese bl and so far I love the fact that this not your typical high school romance. There is a great depth to the story and the back story that explains why it's a slow burn relationship between Bi and Su Yu . I want it to be Friday already!
Ep 8 took me on a rollacoaster of emotions from laughing; crying to falling even more in love with BMF and Max! Max makes cameo appearances but his storyline as Kawi's best friend adds so much to the story. I also appreciated the fact that the writers focused on the prejudices faced by the LGBTQ community. This doesn't often happen in bls. BMF has set a new standard for bls because it's perfect in every way. The script is beautifully written without the usual clichés. Kawi 's confession to Pieseng and his reaction is one the most moving scenes that I have ever seen in a bl. Kawi's intial reluctance and then his raw honesty to Pieseng about how he feared being a world without him was heartwrenching. Pieseng's reaction was simply pefect and credit should go to Gavin for his ability to speak volumes without saying a word. . Krist is in a class of his own when it comes to bl actors. BMF is way better then any other thai BL that I've seen to date. I loved Kinn Porche at the time but I've forgotten about it but BMF will definitely be a series on my rewatch list. I'm praying that there is no curveball ending and that Kawi and Pieseng get their HEA. I would love to see a second season which focuses on Max finding love and how life turns out for Pear. I also hope that Gavin & Krist pair up again because their chemistry is off the charts.
I just watched ep 1 and the juvenile bickering made me cringe instead of laugh. I wanted to watch a cute fluffy bl but so far I didn't sense anychemistry between the two mls. I'll persist with watching episode 2 because judging the comments it gets better. I really wanted to like it so I'll reserve judgement.
This episode had so many twist and turns but somehow it turned out to be another amazing episode. It's painful to watch Pisaeng's unrequited love for Kawi until now. But I love the way that the author has written Kawi's character so that we see him gradually realise how important Pisaeng is to him. I'm also still hoping that Max get's a love interest. In fact, I'd watch a 2nd season of this series focusing on Max finding his soulmate. It's a shame that Pear ends up with a douchebag like Knot. The ending was everything because it was Kawi who went in for the kiss (albeit drunk!). I saw a trailer with Mike playing Pisaeng and I'm so glad that he dropped out because Gavin's chemistry with Krist is off the charts. Now, there is a long wait for the next episode!

I so want Max to have more screen time with Pisaeng and Kawi. More than that I want Max to find his soul mate. It's incredible what impact Max has made despite being in very few scenes. I'm wishing my time away because I can't wait for it to be Friday already!
Another amazing episode with both Gavin & Krist deserving so much credit for their incredible acting. I love the storyline but more importantly it's a series that does not shy away from the complexities of being gay. I also love how the secondary characters like Max and Knot add to the storyline. Also, much credit to the writer for creating a female character that is far cry from the usual ditzy bl girls. Pear is so likeable that I really hope that she gets her HEA. The chemistry between Pisaeng and Kawi and their slow burn relationship has me wishing it was next week already. This episode had me laughing but it also had me crying when Kawi talks to his father. This series has to become one that's talked about for a long time after it's aired. I'm so glad that Krist returned to the bl genre and that the producers cast Gavin as Pisaeng. I can't wait until next week and I think I have massive crush on Pisaeng!

Took some effort to get through that. The scenes go on too long and there's no snap to the acting. Exhibit A is…
You're spot on about Dino being in his eigth year at university because the actor playing him is 26 years old!🤣🤣🤣Rak has a sign stamped on his forehead that reads: "Doormat: please walk over me". The couch scene alone was a massive red flag but Rak barely confronted Mek over it. It's only episode one and I already want someone to punch Mek!
But how did that last, what 9 years (I think) together. Seems depressing to just lose that much time and end it…
You're right in that it's sad to invest yourself in a long-term relationship only to blow it in the end! I've never brought the premise that Thana & Patis were previously in a healthy relationship. They seem like too different people on very different paths.
