@zeenunew french kiss You're right that producers used Santa & Yacht as clickbait for international fans and it worked because that's why I'm watching the show. The whole 'visuals' segment was problematic so don't get me started. But what saddens me the most is that the local contestants in this show demonstrate why Koreans are well known for rejecting foreigners who want to work in their country. BTS admitted during one of their interviews that their attitudes towards foreigners were more favourable once they gained international recognition. RM explained that they had to learn about how to be more respectful to other cultures once they started touring. I respect BTS for their honesty. I feel sorry for all the non-Korean speaking contestants on this show because they are at a massive disadvantage. Also, I think the producers picked K-Soul because he's problematic and was guaranteed to cause drama! I'm sure he has a fan base somewhere out there but I'm not one of them!
The subtle changes in the monologuse/dialogue made me cry all over again! It was the first time of was re-watching the first episode after the series ended last year. The episode looks the same but it gives a bit more insight into their relationship. I'm looking forward to seeing the remaining episodes. I'm so glad the director decided to give us this cut. The series will be eternally memorable and tears will undoubtedly fall as I watch the edited episodes.

Being ambitious is fine but being a self absorbed narcissist like Ksoul starts to grate on people! The BTS guys are the most successful Korean artists on the planet but they are also the most humble! I liked K-Soul in ep 1 but by ep3 I detest him! Who knows I may change my opinion again after watching more episodes!
This show is so so bad and toxic but I can't stop watching it. The toxicity created by the format of the show such as the 'visuals' segment wouldn't make it on air in England! Looks are definitely important but there would be more subtlety and sensitivity when covered in European shows. I am also starting to detest ksoul but at the same time his nassistic comments are entertaining. He is a toxic narcissist who I think will get ahead because he is more media savvy than the others. My heart wants Myungjae do really well but I don't think the producers will want him in the final line up due to his frailty. I think the producers have already made up their minds that they want Kim Gyu Rae regardless of whether he can sing or dance. He's only 14 and I felt a little uncomfortable when women were screaming for him to do poses during the visuals competition. It felt wrong but than Jungkook was 14 when he joined BTS so what do I know!. I shouldn't like this show but it's strangely addictive!

I'm rooting for Myungjae over an irrating nassist like ksoul. I also agree about Santa and Yaya. They don't speak Korean so they must be struggling during off screen rehearsals. I can't imagine in the competitive environment created by the producers anyone goes out of their way to translate for them. I like Yaya but he is not really idol material because he doesn't stand out.

I'm crying again reading these comments! Oliva thx for the explanation as I missed some the more subtle additions by the director. This series is one that's hard to forget but so difficult to watch.
I binge watched the 6 episodes and now I'm sacred of watching the last 2 episodes. I just get the feeling that it maybe a be a sad ending but hope I'm wrong! I have already used up all my tears after watching Eternal Yesterday which left me heartbroken. Regardless, I love everything about this series; the chemistry between the two leads; beautiful cinematography and the amazing soundtrack. The bl is a class of it's own!

Lols sketchy is an understatement! I watched out of curiosity to see how well Yaya/Yacht would do and I wish I could unsee his audition! It was cringeworthy when he came 4th last week courtesy of his bl fans! At least Santa has potential! It helps that he looks like a thai Disney prince!
I was shocked just how bad Yaya was during his first audition! I watched the show because I was curious how he would do! Yaya/Yacht is a good actor and he's also appeared in dance videos. No one claim the show is fixed! Yaya came 4th and Santa came first in the 2nd episode probably because of bl fans voting for them! I know it's mean but I loved watching a very hopeful Ksoul get deflated when he wasn't voted in the top three! I haven't watched ep 3 but I'm assuming the judges/producers will get rid of Yaya otherwise the show will become a popularity contest and not a talent show! I love Yaya but he should stick to acting!
