Thana and Patis are like the toxic couple you know will never break up because they too insecure to be without the other. I think the realistic ending should be Thana ending up with his hook up because they do seem to have some chemistry. Patis should end up with his doctor friend because they are equals and will understand each other's busy work schedule. My first boyfriend was a med student and his long hours ended up killing our relationship. I needed to leave for work at 7am and he wanted to chat at 3am after a shift! So, I have some sympathy for Thana in terms of dealing with Patis's long working hours. However, Patis didn't seem to invest that much emotionally into their relationship in the first place. His work always came first. I hold hope that Mai & Rayou will get together and the hex lady will make Nack disappear! Also, what happened to the hot guy who brought sandwiches to the evil witch in the coffee shop? How does he factor in this mess of a story? Also, I missed not having a long episode this week!
Phathit and Thana really need to think seriously about what's happening.Thana needs to consider why he allowed…
@misspulane You have to have very low expectations of your partner of nearly 10 years if you think it's ok for them to have sordid blow job in a public place from the boy next door! Thana & Patis are toxic. They are both selfish in their own way. Maybe, Thana should end up with his hook-up and Patis should have HEA with his doctor friend. I hold hope that Mai & Rayou will end up to together and Nack will disappear!
This show was already a must watch for me but ep 5 exceeded my expectations. Pisaeng (Fluke)' grappling with his sexuality was a reminder of the prejudices that the LBGTQ community faces. That's why the message in this episode - "Kindness doesn't cost anything so don't be mean," was so touching. As a straight woman, I'll never experience the fear of going through a coming out moment. Therefore, I feel it's important for the bl universe to remind viewers that the real world isn't always as embracing of two boys kissing and being in love. Also, Fluke deserves so much credit for the way he potray's Pisaeng's character. Pisaeng's eyes speak volumes about the pain of unrequited love in nearly every scene with kawee. I also like the slow burn of the storyine that allows for both character and plot development. It's also refreshing not to have tolerate the archetypal bl girl who is ridiculously simpering over the gay boy and buying him snacks! I love Pear's character who is both mature and kind. I hope the reminder of the episodes are as good as those already aired.
Until now I wasn't sure if the whole magical coffee shop/bakery with the evil witch was necessary. There are only…
@chickwifey and gudboy_foo83 I think youre both spot on after watching Ep 4.. I like the sllow pace but I'm now I'm wondering how will they end the series in a meaningful way with just 2 more episodes to go. But I definitely think the mysterious hot guy is linked to the witchy cafe owner.
Until now I wasn't sure if the whole magical coffee shop/bakery with the evil witch was necessary. There are only six episodes so I hope it all makes sense at the end. I'm loving the series and Im also kind of liking Gun who still needs to work on his cringeworthy crying skills! Although, he has mastered the art of vacantly smiling . I'm also intrigued by the hot guy who makes sandwiches for the evil woman. I assume he is there to make things right when the time comes! I'm also not sure that I'm buying that Thana & Patis had a healthy 9-year relationship until now! To me, they are a bit toxic and maybe they should go their separate ways. Looking forward to next to find out the whole point of the magical shop and what Thana will wish for!
I envy those in the future who will be able to binge watch the series. Both Krist and Fluke do their characters justice although I'm liking Pisaeng more than Kawi. I am also liking the slow burn of how their relationship transforms from friends to lovers. However, I hope they don't leave it until ep 10 for Kawi to finally realise that he is in love with Pisaeng. On a separate note, 2together was the first bl I had ever watched on a cold January evening last year. It was also written by Jittirain. So, my thanks to Jittirain for writing some amazing bl stories and for introducing me to the bl world!
I have never rewatched ep 8 of the original series because it took me months to get over the trauma! I've also never needed grief therapy after watching a fictitious story . That could change after watching Ep 8 of the Complete Edition. The episode is so beautifully and poignantly edited that it opened up the floodgate of tears and left me an emotional wreck. I think Koichi & Micchan's story will stay with me a long time. This series proves that you don't need to have a massive budget if you have the right script; actors and an amazing director. I wish it was more widely aired because it deserves to be seen by more people. Special thx to the individuals who made it possible for me to watch the series as an international fan. I found the complete edition more profound because of the inclusion of the additional inner monologues. The episode is subtly edited and It's hard believe that a 24-minute episode can be so heartbreakingly moving. I'm not sure I have the emotional strength to rewatch it but I'm so glad that I found this series.
I loved the first episode but the second episode left me a bit confused at times about what was going on. However, I still enjoyed watching it but I think the supernatural element is unnecessary. The appearance of the sterotype villain aka the coffee shop owner ruins an otherwise good plotline. I am intrigued by how the stories of both couples will evolve. Thana and Patis seem to be on very different trajectory but being a bl they will almost certainly get their HEA. I also like how Mai & Reaow's relationship is developing and I can't understand at this stage why one them would need the services of the cackling witch in the coffee shop! I look forward to watching episode 3 three because I feel that the pot boy is somehow linked to the coffee shop.
Ep 2 and this series already becoming my favourite! Krist & Fluke are both amazing actors as well being easy on the eyes! They are perfectly cast and everthing about this series is high quality. It's really rare that you get an excellent script; good production values and a great cast. Be My Favourite has the potential to become the favourite bl of a lot fans! A lot of us can relate to Kawi who is a complex character. It's easy to feel insecure and not good enough when your crush is someone like Pear who can have her pick of the boys! In contrast, Pisaeng on surface has everything but we find out that he feels lonely in a crowded room! I can't wait for ep3 to see how Kawi & Pisaeng's relationship evolves. I envy those who will watch this series in the future and will be able to binge watch the episodes!
Korean bls always deliver and this one didn't disappoint. It was short but it felt so much longer because of the depth of the plot development and a good script. It also helped that the 2 MLs had chemistry and were so cute!
Discovered this series by chance and the first episode (uncut version) was great! I might be in a minority but I like the longer episode especially because there are only 6 episodes. The uncut version that I watched had a slower pace but I didn't mind it.
I never realised that Mike was involved in the project when I watched the first episode. I really thought that Krist and Fluke had great chemistry. I'm definitely looking forward to the next episode. Mike had his own reasons for dropping out and Fluke's a great replacement. I like Mike and I hope gets another lead role soon.
I just watched episode 3 and the confession scene was heartbreakingly beautiful particularly when the background music stopped and all you could hear was rain as they kissed. I didn't think this series could get any better but it did. I cried all the way through as expected. This is my favourite episode of the series and this version didn't disappoint. I want to thank @Jero and @Nicksden for making it possible for me to watch with English subs. The episodes are otherwise impossible for me to watch. So thx again for both of your efforts.
@zeenunew french kiss You're right that producers used Santa & Yacht as clickbait for international fans and it…
@zeenunew french kiss Totally agree that Santa & Yacht are the wrong fit for this show! I love BTS and I was relived that they and their management actually addressed their failings. Otherwise it would be hard for me to support them as a Brit. As for K-soul, I wasn't aware of his past and so I'm judging him on the present. I'm also not surprised that he is no longer in a group! He is not a team player and I can't imagine any manager wanting to deal with the kind of drama that he is guaranteed to create!
