On side note you guys should watch The Bodyguard (movie) starring Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston, It is a really good movie that set the precedence of all the bodyguard type-ish movies. The movie was made with only Whitney in mind so Kevin waited for her to say yes. There was a rumour Madonna wanted to star in it but Kevin was set on only Whitney. There is a scene in the movie where a samurai sword splits a sheer scarf in half, it was so magical.
DDH staff are funny, each with some quirky character. They said "Assalamualaikum Marhaba Marhaba Hassan" LOL! The pronunciation was good.
Suspects I think we can rule out Madam Ju son and grandson, since they already showed their true colours. I guess the person who is left is the nephew since the hired killer said something like he clearly better than you.
Past life It seems like Mr Demon, DDH and Sword girl are linked to the past. I thought the Sword Girl was human but when his Butler said she had eyes on Mr Demon for 20 years, since she looks fairly young, we can assume she is immortal. To top it off the reenactment of the painting was deliberate.
It was satisfying to see our Demon all green with envy. But I wonder what is the reason to have him lose his power and get in touch with his human side?
Just managed to watch this movie. I can say the pettiness is on point. Marriage isn't for everyone, sometimes it is best not to go down that path. So Min acting is funny especially her frustration, eye rolling and criminal offensive bombastic side eye LOL! But how pretty was she in that ballroom wedding gown...just looking like a wow!
I love watching Korean and Chinese Dramas for the very fact that they reflect their culture, their beautiful language,…
I did not see any problems with that. In fact it is acknowledging that they have immigrants in the country who working for a better life (if one to assume). The non-Korean spoke the language well and the premise looked liked he had a good rapport with his employer's son, who mind you is also working as a security guard. If you follow Korean news, the people are divided like most others (in other countries) about immigrants, some say they are taking their jobs while some say they won't be here if they could earn a living in their own country, so not everyone is racist against them. In BYT I was actually impressed the actors learnt French and Arabic, which is not easy for them considering the languages are hard to grasp. Cultural appropriation and racism occur when they make fun or insult others. Did not see that here. In my country we have so many Korean immigrants who even have established their own mini Korean town, hell we used to even have North Koreans. Most of them immigrated here coz it is more laid back, lower cost of living and education esp English.
that young girl,it's not like she don't deserve it .she pretty good at acting
I am not pointing out her acting, clearly coz she is good that is why she got casted. I was merely saying that she played the younger Shin Hye Sun in See you in my 19th life as well. Then I remember she was in the Red Sleeve , there there was another series and now this. It is just that I kept seeing her, so I remembered. To get casted, you must have a good manager, and whoever she or he is, I said must be good at the job because I am sure it is not easy to be in all the mainstream dramas. It is either you have to established with a good manager or you know there has to be some pull, this is how the real world works. That is all, so kudos to her with her impressive resume. May we see her in the future as a main lead.
The first two episode is just setting the premise because the trailers had SD teaching in a school and then fighting off bullies as well as bad guys. Anyway that mentee of hers did everything deliberately to bring SD down. Seems like a narcissistic tramp especially when she revealed that she was the one who her ex-BF cheated with.
That aside how come the girl who plays the young SD is like in every series playing the younger version of the FLs. She must have a really good manager getting her casted in all the series.
I think seok hoon is the prime suspect.. never trust the most innocent character they have show us 😂
Initially the secretary seemed a bit off especially when she did not want to follow her but we saw her in the flashback with Madam Ju, and she was happy when Do Do Hee inherited the company and most of the wealth, so she knows more than she claims. Having said that, I think she is one of the good guys.
Park Yeon Woo is the hero in this drama, mind you. She is exactly what Tae Ha needs. She also did not belong in Joseon era especially with her forward thinking feistiness as well as stitching and embroidery skills.
Also Tae Min does not seem like a bad guy, definitely a spoiled brat living under big bro shadow with a domineering mom. Seems like he is harbouring a lot of resentments himself over the family drama.
Grandad keeps eating delicious looking cakes, I am sucker for cakes, me wants!!
I think we may have to rethink about the real culprit and who hired the killer? Or is the killer on his own? There has to be a reason why the Demon lost his powers. Perhaps he needs to get in touch with his human side because he was becoming too indifferent?
Anyway that Madam Ju's family are a bunch of greedy, scheming, two-faced, selfish pricks, who all have their own agenda even the nephew Joo Seok Hoon, I don't buy his raised by hippie parents unruly persona. Plus he has eyes on Do Do Hee, so dude is definitely shady.
READ FIRST------>This is my review and my personal opinion that shouldn't affect others, neither I have to agree…
Performance by Ji Hee and Yoo Min deserves recognition. Yi Joo felt so unloved and had trust issues to a point she could not even believe someone can love her for who she is while Yu Ra went around thinking everyone loves her but ended up consumed with so much hatred and envy. I do feel pity a bit for Yu Ra if she was raised well by her mother perhaps she would not have ended up like how she did, but good she disowned her mom, at least realise perhaps the mother would continue to ruin her life and her child's life. Yes the plot was not dragged and it moved swiftly. Definite the better drama among all the recent ones I had watched.
My only complain is why they gotta dress up the ML like a middle-aged dad? Dude was only missing a Nokia 3310 with a casing attached to his belt, a baseball cap and sports shoes.
