Ruan Lanzhu was an NPC outside the door world that was created after the games exist so that he could purify the game back to its original form.
As an NPC outside the door world, he could move around each door scene to assist other Obsidian players and exclusively assisted Ling Jiushi so that he [LJS] could reach the 10th door and together with RLZ purify the game.
