I think some people often ask whether it's bromance or bl mainly because they wish to see the real bl one which is definitely impossible to be produced by China.
For Chinese bromance production, there will never be many skinship or direct confeesion.
Even if it's produced by foreign countries or sold to other countries, as long as it is filmed in China or played Chinese actors, there won't be any excessive skinship like what we can find on bl dramas from other countries.
If you are looking for a deep meaningful story, with lots of positive messages, then Chinese bromance drama is a good choice.
