That's like 5 reasons why I haven't dropped Hwarang.

5 reasons NOT to watch it would be:

1) Messy plot - honestly, why is it called Hwarang? They barely even focus on that at all and we're a couple weeks from the end of this torture.
2) Awful acting - Blame Go Ah Ra for that.
3) Gross romance - the main leads are vomit inducing. Need to skip all scenes.
4) Go Ah Ra's lip quivering - self explanatory.
5) Did I mention Go Ah Ra?

Honestly, this is my first time watching her and I can safely say she's like Kristen Stewart. I'm currently subtitling "Who are You?" and she has the exact same "facial expressions" on that show and I bet she didn't do differently anywhere else. Unless she's such a bitch in real life that playing a good character is that impossible to her because... honestly, how hard can it be? She's a poor actress ( if one can call her that, ofc) and that character is completely idiotic as well, not to mention useless. I'm completely baffled as to how can anyone even stand her but - worse - fall in love with her! Abnormal!

I'm only watching this show for Taehyung and PHS, also the bromance going on. I wish they had ruled out Go Ah Ra's character altogether (because it's just a waste of time) this show would've been a lot better.

the premise had so, so much potential... but with each passing episode, everything's just becoming a littttttttttttle…
It's the typical excuse. Sadly. Dude, he just wanted to survive. He doesn't need to be a freaking psycho to kill others just so he can survive, that would be a lot more interesting. The writers are fucking this up at the speed of light. ¬¬

Also sick of the psycho routine. I see that all the time in k-dramas. Apparently there are no bad guys or real criminals in Korea. Everyone who does bad things around there are psychos.
Typing blindly atm. My eyes got stuck from so much rolling.

when have we ever seen a realistic drama...
Maybe because never have any other drama ever been THIS ridiculously fairytale-ish unrealistic?

On spot once more, chingu. And why? Whyyyyyy? I'm having a mental breakdown as to why exactly I can't drop this drama. *nervous laughter*

This is good but could be a lot better. I really like the acting but these cases feel like a waste of time. Just get to the point already! I'm impatient about crime themed shows because of all that beating around the bush crap. Forget their jobs! Let's focus on their private investigation, shall we?

I haven't watched this yet.. But is this not like almost exactly the same as EXO next door? I don't…
As a fan of EXO I can safely say THAT is NO comparison to this.

I'm already in love with this show! The lead is so cute and adorable I'm completely sold! @u@
A shame she won't get to be with her crush, right? I mean, that's pretty obvious thanks to poster spoilers and what not u__u Anyway... he's so patient and nice... T^T I would be naive to hope for them to be together but... ugh! ;w;

It's so unfair that someone as sweet and considerate as Yeol had to be killed but the bastard Taeho survived.…
Well. That can't be a good sign, right? lol I need help.

While I like this show. Some things really bother me. Tae ho is really dumb which is just waste of good acting.…
When that little reunion happened I shot Joon Oh a deadly glare and echoed: ...really!

Title Missing 9 Spoiler
Another user put together words that precisely describe how I feel about Missing 9 at this point: "love-hate".
I have mixed feelings because...It's basically confirmed that none of the beige/coloured clothes theories, the flower garden featuring domestic bunnies, the luminous "jungle" where they use lamps anyway, the open sea that echoes, Joon Oh's sudden disappearance and reapperance unquestioned, the burning wreckage on the beach after the plane crashed and sunk in the ocean, the currents around the island that bring survivors and their curiously-stocked-with-food-luggage IN and dead bodies OUT and many other mysteries we kept daydreaming about are nothing but... well... flaws.
Alas.
That is such a punch in the stomach after fantasizing big about this drama... but I knew the risk I was taking. I was too hopeful. Of course they would think it's alright to make everyone slightly important survive a plane crash without any security measure. And that's just... offensive. In a level I can't even put to words.
I don't want to dwell on that though or I'll be pissed and exhausted while others will take me for a hater and will bore me to death with their defensive/passive-aggressive speeches. Besides, I have other reasons to love this drama... if I can turn a blind eye to all that's absurd in the plot, even if there's still a lot of question marks, I can enjoy the music, the acting, the drama, comedy and suspense. The mystery? Not so much now... it's gone down the sewer. The show is still enjoyable though, in a general perspective.
Nonetheless, it's too soon to say anything regarding whether or not this is headed to a better or worse ending. I can't even think of one yet, not really looking forward to it as I look forward to next week - which is a good sign, believe me. The cast is good, characters dense, Missing 9 is a good project that could be 50x better if the writers were daring enough. I won't judge the production too much since I can see clearly why sponsors would feel skeptical about a drama like this... they did their best with the resources they had at hand. Alright. I'll take that. But that's about all that I can ignore.
I was wrong about the CEO... I thought he never made it out the island, I even told someone here that, but that accident of his... WOAH. Straight A's to that! I jumped on my seat - it looked AMAZING! I love "unexpected" the most. I mean... of course his brother would do something but we know how it usually goes in dramas, right? Around five or six episodes of evil planning...
Anyways... I'm still wondering what the heck the suicide on episode one has to do with all that unless that guy was evil CEO's son???? Maybe?????? Sigh. Dunno... I'm convinced since the very start everything was his plan anyway. But then the co-pilot says something about a curse????? And yet they try to shove the "real deal" thing down our throats anyway????? I'm lost in ways those stranded kids never were, not even once.
Not surprised Tae Ho lived. Of course he would. And the lambs are to blame for that too. He's definitely a psycho though because he killed the first man without a sweat and annoying girl (whose name I can't seem to remember and it doesn't matter anyway) too. The only one he really didn't mean to kill was Yeol for whom he had feelings. Aw. It's all good. Chanyeol's acting haven't improved anyway. It was kinda painful watching him struggle. But Tae Ho... I mean, the guy who plays him... he's good. Clap, clap, clap.
Can't stomach romance yet. I wish they didn't. But of course they would.
And though I really like Ji Ah, her character is sometimes inconsecutive.
Ah... I don't know what else to say. I would love to go on about all that's wrong about this but... in the end... I still really like Missing 9. Oooh... controversy. :~) (It's ruining my life.)
I'll just stand by and see what happens next week. Already PMSing to have to wait until then because DAMN, I've never been this anxious. ' ¬__¬ So yeah... over and out and all that jazz.

At least kdrama is becoming more creative in how they kill people. Instead of the truck of death, we have steel…
Steel beams of death sounds so poetic! lol I loved that as well, oh my, I jumped on my seat!
