OH. I see... after watching Six flying dragons though her speech sounds perfectly fine to me. I kept wondering if the actress there had braces on or whatever else that made her sound so funny... but since I know nothing about those times, I settled. So that's what it's called... good to know. XD
The last couple episodes reminded me I forgot to mention a dream I had about my ship...
MooJung/MaekMyung... *blushes and pops out yaoi hearts*
GUYS!!!!! I swear I didn't ship it before the dream BUT... OMO THAT WAS SO ADORBS AND PERF JISOOS SAVE ME! T_T but aren't they just lovely together with that bromance of theirs? @w@
Hey! Don't blame me, blame Ah Ro for being worthless and lacking chemistry with both of them. u__u So this happens...
I can't even put my dream together in words, but the king was all messy and clumsy regarding his own heart and feelings... *sighs a hundred times in a row* ; A ; SUCH MOEEEEE!
I just had this weird thought about what if I was a female lead of a drama, who would people ship me with and then I was like lol they'd be damn frustrated with my unshippable guts. XD
Well, that was random af, let me go back to darkness.... too much sugar, i'm sorry. '-'
I just watched the 12th episode and I still really like this also I get a little annoyed by all the officials…
Oh, yessss, I watched Reply 97 and loved it. T^T Will keep on with the series sometime soon. Well, I believe that a good actor can make any role work. I think she overdoes the puppy look and that lip quiver is just over the top annoying. I mean... does it make sense that she goes from helpless puppy to brave b**** within a matter of seconds? Her character is just weird and she's not helping. And yeah, precisely. I just watched the last couple episodes and #11 was over within less than half an hour after skipping all of her scenes. lol But #12 was great, omg. I feel like I'm watching something else entirely. *-*
On a side note, I was so cheering for the queen to kill Ah Ro already and rid me of the very sight of her... but of course she would get away unharmed by the hands of the fool she doesn't even care about.
Funny how when there's no chemistry between the leads a drama can be quite unbearable to watch... I mean, they play those sad love songs and film them giving each other puppy stares and I feel sick to the stomach wondering how the heck can two hot men fall for the same tasteless girl?! Uggghhh. I mean, check out Soo Ho's sister! She's a total cutie and can still knock a man down with one blow, lmao. That's what I need from a lead (not really but I believe you'll get my point). What's with Ah Ro? She's good for nothing! I always skip the romance scenes and look away when she's on the screen because I can't even stand looking at her face at this point. lol Moo Myung is also too lovey dovey for someone who should be focused on getting his revenge. ¬¬ Halfway through this he didn't even take a single step towards that purpose. I'm so upset because I've been waiting for this drama since day one and this is what I get... :( a terrible female lead, a meh male lead and poor handling of the plot. Still watching though for everyone and everything ELSE.
And that little dance act...? Tsk. C'mon, can we get to the bottom of things already? Why must short dramas always drag things out and give us a rushed and hardly satisfatory ending? Sighing my way through next week.
I just watched the 12th episode and I still really like this also I get a little annoyed by all the officials…
Oh, I'm not the only one watching it for other reasons. It's my first time seeing Go Ah Ra in a drama and I'm inclined to hate her guts because of this role. Could you rec some of her good dramas? ^^
So the one in other hospital room was chairman? when his brother met him n prosecutor Yoon tries to see who it…
I believe that scene was in the island. Can't say for sure though, since I don't usually pay much attention to previews but, 99% sure it was in the island. XD
I'm completely drawn to this drama but, after episode 4, logic paid me a visit and started hitting the back…
@namopanik: I like your POV and I'm trying to hold my hopes up but can't ignore that fear. As for the clothes, I do believe they have a purpose for all the beige now changed to hot rainbow colours all of a sudden. That's what, matter-of-factly, is keeping me hopeful. XD (Supported by some interview about just that... it's mentioned in the topic above, can't quote it properly.)
Yes, the flower garden is connected to the manager (I can't phrase proper english lately, forgive me '-') and I don't get the impression it's meant to be fantastic as you said... that would be nice, of course, especially since I love AIW but I can't see THAT scenario from that perspective... I do notice a lot of that in the drama though, keeps me wondering what is and isn't real. But that particular background... I don't know.
I get your point about Bong Hee, but being a diver is one thing. She lived in an island, yes, not in a deserted one whatsoever. Hence I get that she can be skilled at one thing or another but there's basically NOTHING she CAN'T do and that's so absurd even the characters point it out so I'm hoping that's just another thing they're going to explain later on because that doesn't go down my throat if they're going to stick with the "reality" plot, nope. No way. She didn't need to be a supergirl to highlight the others' lack of skills. She makes everything look too easy, too manageable, like there's no drama being trapped in an island. Also, there's no resources they can't get, apparently. Just too lucky of them to find the exact plant Yeol remembered well when it was used on him about 10 years ago? lol So many things that make me go... QUESTION MARK on this drama and I really hope all that IS INDEED related to your theory. Because unless they were transported to said "wonderland" BEFORE the crash... there's no way they would make it out alive. I really can't see "reality-line" working the way things are now.
And oh, I wasn't defending Lost, I haven't even watched it and I know well how fans were disappointed in the ending but I thought it was brilliant from an outsider perspective. Of course they dragged it out way too long to end things like that and I'd be pretty pissed off as well, lol. XD But when it comes to a 16 episode long show, I believe it would be a great ending.
I'm completely drawn to this drama but, after episode 4, logic paid me a visit and started hitting the back of my head... you see, the only way this would all make sense to me is if, in the end, she imagined the whole thing, like in Lost. I mean... can we talk about odds for a moment? It was a PLANE CRASH, a severe one indeed, nobody had a bloody seatbelt for starters and yet everyone managed to survive without a single scratch? Only Yeol had an injury and, c'mon, surviving a plane crash can be considered a fucking miracle alone WHEN you have all security measures in mind and all that jazz. And the guy said the plane was DOOMED? I think it was BLESSED!
After that, we have the plane parts on the shore, ON FIRE. (lol wtf man) Do you guys watch the news? A plane crashes on the sea and nearly vanishes UNDERNEATH. But talking about that, doesn't it have a BLACK BOX? All planes do and that's how we usually find them or at least the area it may have crashed. After that they start a rescue mission and a helicopter would be all that it takes to spot people (or PLANE PIECES?????????) in a nearby island. Phew. But no... 40 something days passed and now we have to use some mysterious survivor whose memories are lost because she's our only hope to find such island???? Oh, c'mon, then said island can't even exist (but no... they found it with her help. Wait... WHAT HELP?? What exactly did she tell them? The coordinates?! She mumbles something about survivors in a island and BAM they find the island just like that. Impressive. And then... they go back? They don't even show us a team searching the island for survivors, no... they just went there so their little patient could try to overcome her amnesia? Oh, right.
I won't even mention production slips such as the flower garden they were trying to sell for a forest, lol. But... none of that makes sense if it is what it is, I mean. And the diver girl knows everything there is to know about surviving in the wilderness?????? What the hell is that?! She's nearly fearless! But that could be denial. Her abilities on the other hand... perhaps they want to highlight the others' uselessness by making her too useful but that's just absurd.
And about that annoying girl's death... if she simply fell off a cliff, how would the legist conclude she was murdered? That's way ahead and reckless of him to speculate. Of course we still don't know the details about that so I could be wrong about this but... well. Oh, and of course, their luggage just miraculously showed up at shore. (: Medicine, food, warm colorful clothes... wow. Talk about luck.
What I mean is, if Bong Hee isn't just delusional after trauma, making up all those fake memories due to some horror she must've experienced in the island, all of that is just pushing too far.
That being said, this drama can be extremely good or disastrously bad in the end, depending solely on how they'll choose to shove it down our throats. And I'm really hoping they don't try to push their abnormal luck because... I'm already not buying it. Here's to hoping they don't fuck this up because this drama is some great shit put together, amen.
So the one in other hospital room was chairman? when his brother met him n prosecutor Yoon tries to see who it…
IDTS. I believe that guy (is he chairman's brother?) is the one behind all this so it's unlikely he'd pay him a friendly visit. I'm inclined to think it's Tae Ho, their big product, or even Jun ho, for the sake of everyone's happy ending.
But why doesn't anyone mention the main lead's DRAMATIC hairstyle change? That couldn't be any less subtle and yet nobody even seem to notice. They didn't expect us to just let Hyunwoo's professional need to change his looks pass by, right? Oh no, they didn't!
Ho-ho-ho my God, I'm SO into this... *trembles*
I can't even question the logic of the crash because I imagine how hard it was to produce that scene and it looks so damn good so whatever man. (:
Love the main leads' acting, this show isn't good for my anxiety, oh no. I'm dying to see where this is going.
I like the comedy, the main cast and characters but I completely despise the lead female and the main couple in this one... ugh. I skip all of their scenes by now because it makes me sick to the stomach. Such a waste of screentime Go Ara is. I don't know about other parts but in this drama she stinks, I'm sorry to her fans, but excuse me - she's doing a terrible job and the character doesn't help her at all. Useless, tasteless, plays fearless but is constantly found weeping about and still manages to catch their heart with little to no effort and THAT because she doesn't even have the looks either. C'mon... this is pushing too far, I really hate that about rom-coms. If only she had goddess looks to make up for her good-for-nothing character...
Ugh. Sorry. I just had to rant. '¬¬ #forstrongerfemaleleads
No one should be allowed to be this handsome. This is totally unfair.
Well... at least he's not tall as a wall and carved like some. If he was, perfection would have a name. @_@"
