Title The Last Empress Spoiler
This show had me hooked from start. Shorter episodes and a lot going on, I just couldn't wait to watch the next one. It is a great show, great characters and story, nothing particularly new, but still great. However, some things bothered me and here they are (may contain spoilers):

1) Na Wang Sik's extreme makeover is simply unacceptable! How ridiculous it is that producers want to shove that down our throats! This isn't even a comedy! So you lose weight and suddenly your voice changes, your hair color gets lighter as you cut it, your eyes change, your behavior changes, even your personality changes... what the actual f*ck?!
2) Choi Jin Hyuk really screwed up and lost my respect. I don't care for his excuses, this is work and you have to stick with it till the end. No doubt there was some drama going on. I mean, he clearly could've done his own fat version but noooooo, he's too much a star for that! The ending was clearly adapted since our huge "star" couldn't make it. Now I'm not sure the ending would be better if he was in it. If they tried to work a happily ever after
between Na Wang Sik and Oh Sunny I'd probably vomit and hate everything.
3) The punishment for the barbarian empress mother is nowhere enough. Nowhere! Just... ugh. Where's justice?
4) Too many clichés and ridiculous coincidences. Please, stop!
5) I see many people hating about the emperor's true feelings about Oh Sunny in the end while I find that just perfect. The only reason he had to hate her was manipulation he suffered on all sides. He was made believe she was a block in his path and he was made a monster by his mother. In the end, he was but a victim. I would rather if he lived to repent and have a happy family with the lead and his daughter, or even just his daughter.
6) There's probably more but I have nearly no memory to help me out here.
7) Oh, just remembered, how in the end they tried to turn everyone into victims. Yoora being the worst case. Oh no, you are not a victim and you deserved to die, you evil snake!

She’s getting the hold of it. But I think you should watch till episode 3 and decide if you want to watch it…
Thanks, I will give it a try, then. After Hwarang, I cringe at the mere mention of her name.
