It took me 4 episodes to understand a bit.. too many characters and too little context.. i didn't understand when…
Sending her to the capital is to protect her. Her grandmother is working with him to reform taxes and is in danger of being killed. The people trying to kill her were trying to threaten her grandmother. The enemies in this drama donāt want tax reform, as they are rich and donāt want pay taxes fairly (surprise, surprise!) š
Only watched up to early in second episode, but really like it. I love the way she uses the power of others to get back at those bullying her. Just saw the Lord dude make her call him uncle. The way she turned it around a said āwhereās my present then?ā made me laugh out loud!
FL has been busted down in her power levels multiple times before this story started because of her inability…
Three times she lost cultivation due to fighting injustice. the reason she regained cultivation was because she fought that guy from the from the evil sect who a used forbidden technique to return her power level to 10 or so years prior. Unfortunately for him, it returned her power to a time before she got busted downwards again for using her powers to fight injustice. Several people have mentioned this in comments.
I tried watching Love Between a Demon and a Fairy but the voice used for Esther made me want to gouge my ears…
I found her voice in Love between Fairy and Devil a bit annoying but persevered. She actually played 2 characters, the second with a normal voice which made sense in terms of the plot. Her first character improved as her character āagedā. ( her first character was originally very young).
No, there is not. ML is only aggressive in context of mental illness. In fact the way he lets the FL decide her…
FL has to decide who is most suitable for her. In the journey, she learns more about herself and realises she has misunderstood ML. She has a crush on 2 ML because he is a good man. (Just not right for her) Because this story is bookended as a written novel, there is a fully satisfactory ending.
I'm still getting used to the way idol fandoms work with dramas. Working backwards from an actor's looks to like…
I watch Cdramas for entertainment value, I find them relaxing in a chaotic and stressful world. They are a lightweight āguilty pleasureā. In real life, I listen to, watch and read more intellectually stimulating content. I still canāt tolerate bad writing, illogical story-lineās and poor acting. Cdramas for me should have enough depth to keep me intrigued and wanting more. In terms of looks, really good actors can make you believe they are attractive, even if they are not so in a more typical sense. If you add in great lighting, styling, direction and camera angles, almost anyone can look good.
Is it worth a watch? Are chinese dramas as good or better than kdrama? Iām getting a bit tired of kdrama xD
I started on Kdramas about 5 years ago, but ran through the ones I liked. I switched to Cdramas a couple of years ago, still watch the occasional Kdrama. There are a lot more Cdramas, so you have more to choose from. The good ones have a much higher budget and great actors as well as great story lines. There are still a lot of subpar ones, but on this site many people will give you their recommendations. Once you get used to them , hopefully they are for you!
Recent shows I've seen that in my opinion self-imploded.I start with saying these are already overall above average…
For myself, I would also add - Flourished Peony and Lost You Forever. One that did hold strong to the end was T Story of Kunning Palace. Could probably think of more later.š
