I’ve read a lot of other people say that they had to cut it bc then ZBB’s character would be painted so much more unforgivable, but they kinda sacrificed MR with that cut scene. It portrays her more as petty when she blocks him rather that being justified in her actions.

Ep 12 when they were outside the cave watching the flower bloom, they brushed lips and then LJ interrupted their awkward pause. Then there was a scene where MR is wearing a grey sweater and she’s sick and ZY carries her to her room and rushes out and gulps some water. That didn’t make sense that he would do that, turns out there was a kiss the too! I can’t find it anymore bc I didn’t originally post it. But if you’ve seen some BTS clips there’s one where he’s on top of her on the bed and they’re giggling in the scene. Was supposed to be a kiss they were rehearsing

I love that you caught the Mrs Zhang! ahem…her previous husband 🤭🤭. I’ve come to terms with the BS in this show and I just stick around for the love for ZY’s knitted concerned/jealous eyebrows or for his full bangs dorksy hair or half swept bang where he’s helping/rescuing her OR full on swept up bangs wearing that white suit jacket looking fine af prof in ep 34. I’m here for it ZBB! 🤗❤️

MR told her parents she was a teacher and coworker of ZY as part of her scheme to not let her parents know she is a blogger. She was offered the teaching job much later after they returned from the village.

Cuz he’s talking about her students as if those are her peers. It’s the specific vocab he uses when he talks about them. Instead of “students” he uses “peers”. When he saw her in the classroom she was sitting next to them talking as if she was a student. In the gangster scenes MR told them not to refer to her formally as Professor and call her MR sis or MR

💀💀🤣🤣. I LOVE HOW MOM WAS LIKE “SHUT IT!” when Boss tried to act like he was gonna save the awkward situation. I loved ep 32-33 bc the ZY we wanted the whole series finally showed up to save the day. I love how the whole thing was a plot by TT and ZY and I most especially loved how ZY told momma that the boyfriend part wasn’t an act!! 😍

No idea. Still don’t know CLEARLY if he knows who she is from back in the day. Poor, poor editing 😣

Oh my gosh. What did I spend 34 episodes watching?? I want my hours back.

CGI- pretty low. They had the evil bad guy look like a Pokémon. That’s what my husband said when he walked in that scene. Really!!! Why put the effort into a comical floating figure. You could have made a smoky mist with evil red eyes and it would have been SO MUCH better.
So many poor actors/characters: Mu Yang started off great and then the writers wrote the most BS character arc to represent his love interest and poor judgments. They really failed this actor.
XJK’s nemesis- he looks like an adolescent acting in a school play. I felt bad for him. Maybe it was his voice actor that also hurt him but the illogical fanatical love for DXY at the end was unbelievable.
Plot- I’m so confused. XJK’s friend sacrifices himself for the jade and then they go and waste his sacrifice??? What was the Star Pavilion anyway??
The gadgets were cool in the beginning and then nothing…
The love story…there was no love. It was laughable. Jeremy’s facial features never changed whether he was happy, mad, in pain, suffering, amused. Nothing. The repeated scenes of him leaving and coming back were SO SILLY. There was no emotional response from me as the viewer. I kept thinking it was going to turn around and be better and next thing you know I have no idea how I got to ep 34.

Overall this storyline was COMPLETELY UNBELIEVABLE and pulls NO EMOTIONAL RESPONSE from the viewer. You couldn’t commit emotionally to any character.

Pearl Eclipse was SO MUCH BETTER. If you came here after Pearl Eclipse, it’s disappointing. I’m super bummed because I’ve never rated any show this low. I think they miscast this and the script and directors all clashed to create this …thing…

In the “bar/club” he was saying that beauty is defined differently. People can put on make up and then become beautiful. But you, you were already beautiful 😍🥰😭

In his office he was talking about his plant which hasn’t bloomed yet so to see its beauty. She interrupts and is like essentially a beautiful plant doesn’t flowers to show its beauty and then catches herself realizing he was making an analogy about her beauty 🥰

Just noticed the icon in the viewing calendar for ep 35 says “Marry Me” on the little paper 🤷🏻‍♀️

… I got excited for a sec but then remembered…it was 2nd couple that has the wedding clothes on in the intro/outro song 😒
