Omg yes! Except i didn’t bother with tissues! It was around episodes in the 20s where I would not even realize I was crying and then the last 5-6 episodes I was crying most of the show. WHY ARE THEY ACTING SO HARD?!?!😭
FJ and DH I couldn’t get into the romance. I had a hard time with Dilrabas tropey character and antics 😣

Y’all. I had no idea what I got myself into. I had never seen either leads before so I had no negative views on Dylan Wang. Yes, Esther’s voice is SO SO SO DANG ANNOYING in the beginning. I promise you need to stick with it and her acting is so stellar with Dylan that the shrill/whiny voice is nothing.

Y’ALL BROKE MY HEART STARTING IN EP 31 AND DRAGGED IT MORE INTO SOBBING OBLIVION IN EP 32 WITH DFQC burning his spirit to STAY WITH HER FOR “500” YEARS 2. How dare Dylan/Esther’s agents and coaches let their acting get to this level that wipes me out emotionally? 3. Who directed and edited these episodes?! Y’all should be ashamed of yourselves for causing emotional imbalance with your mad skills

What was the purpose of the scene and all of that dialogue for the Demon King’s “wedding”? Did other parts of this get scrapped or is this setting the scene for upcoming drama? It felt like it didn’t belong in the episode and was isolated from the rest of the storyline focus

I watched a spoiler that they are dressed in red related to Zilin’s wedding. Somehow they had to do a run through before the actual wedding? Doesn’t make sense but ain’t no way they gonna give us a wedding in the mortal world before the stab. There’s not even enough minutes in the episode to squeeze in what we would want from a wedding and post wedding storyline 😭😭. ARE WE INCREASING AMOUNT OF EPISODES YET?!!

Yes this is the premise for 99% of xianxia genre. It’s expected that’s how the storyline unfolds. I obviously encourage you to keep going but don’t force yourself if it’s not your cup of tea. For me, this will be up there with TMOPB
