It's also interesting what motivated Wanning. First she was attracted to SYR's pureness. Then she wanted to know the woman that got to have that man. And she was envious of their relationship.
But she didn't stop there. If she couldn't have that why should others. So she destroyed them. And that's were she differs from XFF and makes that good of a villain for everyone to hate.

I have a feeling the one Li brother that had to become a monk had the better fate. The other one gets scolded, beaten and just does nothing right :)

I also think that her father and brother were so kind to support her as long as she was happy.

I think I'd like a compilation of all their scenes. And you can follow how their relationship progressed from the way they talk and look at eachother and touch to kiss and marry.

That is always the feeling after a good drama. But then the next good one starts and everything is good again.. Meanwhile rewatching this or other good ones is always a good plan.

In today's episode XH said he learnt to read pulses, because of being sick for long. Did he mean he was once sick? Like in his childhood?

And for the callback...I remember in a flashback scene I think her father was against her marrying SYR..now I wonder if he had a hunch that he was a bad guy or maybe not that sincere. That he only wanted to marry her because she was a magistrate's daughter and intelligent that she could help him with his career.
And what did her brother think? As we saw in today's episode, he is also smart and observant.

A call back question and maybe to novel readers...

I think in the last few episodes she finally realized that she just corrupted him, but he never loved her. And the child is not as important to him anyway. He can father children in the future without her, but she obviously cannot bear children.
She will be devasteted when the truth comes out.

But I'm looking forward to the reunion with the father. I think I will have tears in my eyes as well.

I liked him and the brother falling down together. He said he would be gentle, but what was that? :)

He could see through the plan faster, because he wasn't feeling anything for that. While Wanning is blinded by her love for SYR. That's why she fell for XH's army trap, because she wanted to believe a man could give up everything for love ( while we know he would find a way to save his woman without giving up his country).
And now her hope for that miracle blinds her as well.

SYR on the other hand only ponders the question why life is so unfair to him.

Yes, both were so good. But their roles gave them the opportunities to shine with displaying so many emotions and different sides.

Everyone who hated her, now will at least pity her a bit. But we all guessed that terrible things happened to her in that other country and we were right.

I think the child actors really pulled it off. I could imagine them being like that and growing up together. The trust that has been build since then.

It doesn't look like or feel like a low budget drama.
I consider most of the ones on mango tv low budget.

Wow, if it is the director's first drama, I hope he gets more good projects offered in the future. I will keep my eye on that for sure.
