All I wish for her is to move on at her own pace and find her groove. I would be happy if she ends up with Young sik but she can take her time. I’m still worried about her with the former boss and her brother on the loose.

Yeong Rye selfish? She is the most selfless character in this drama. She hide her feelings in the past so JH would go out with JP without remorse. JH found out about her feelings and broke up with JP. YR doesn't even know why they broke up in the past. YR hasn't had an easy life but she's doing her best for herself and her family. JH and YR saw a similar scene from each other with JP. However it was JH who acted sly. She tested JP on his feelings for YR. She knew YR's feelings but pretended and made that absurd request. It was cruel to her friend. I understand that she's unhappy and she's trying to get everything like in the past where she was happy. But Jong Hee has to move on with her life. Live it for herself and not as a stand in. Do what makes her happy and not be happy by proximity.

I watched it live and there was a lot of thing I didn't get. Will rewatch it later with subs.

As she said she envy YR. More YR's positivity. Rain or shine she never gets discourage even though life wasn't easy on her. She gives of herself to others without asking for anything in return.

Same. When he found out about the poison, his soul left his body. His relief when it was cleared. I felt it. The actor played it well with his expressions. I hope he won't go full evil 🙏🏽 Like many dramas, I kinda see see him dying to save Tianji later.

Am I the only one who finds the FL's voice irritating? She sounds like a child when she speaks. Nothing like a seductress or a fighter. For someone who has lived as Ming Xian for years, it's weird.She had the same one in Blossom in Adversity but it suited her character whereas here it doesn't fit imo.

I'm on ep. 5. While everyone is interested in the leads and Situ Ling, I'm interested in the love-hate relationship between Yan Xiao and Princess Tianji. I love their interactions. He loves her but does bad things for the villain. This kind of relationship often has a sad ending unfortunately.

Prisoner of beauty is a gem. No open ending or sad ending or leaving everything behind. They had it all: Love, power and happiness.

Are there haters who came only to downvote this drama or what? When I see some average dramas with better ratings than this one, it surprises me. What is wrong?

I don't get it too when some sloppy dramas out there are rated 8,6 and more.
