All the build up made it look like there was some kind of plotwist but they just confirmed people's suspicion since the beginning. It wasn't the biggest revelation they thought it was when everything was leading to it.

Mu Qibai should've been the ultimate vilain of this drama or Situ Ling's eldest bro. They had the charisma and the aura. Now it feels like a child play. MX, SL,...they act more like spoiled brat. They aren't scary at all. MX is an idiot. SL looks like an obsessive puppy. His vilain arc wasn't necessary and it isn't even convincing.

Title Love in the Clouds Spoiler
I watched ep 27. What Situ Ling did was wrong. He forced her to take his concoction without her consent. It doesn't matter if it's to save her. But I'll play devil's advocate, Ji Bozai also gave Ming Yi the cure without telling her.He didn't give her a choice too. The difference is Situ Ling did it in exchange for something . Which makes his act self-serving, unlike Ji Bozai's.
Nevertheless, I still don't want Situ Ling to become a villain. But it is a xianxia. He had a pitiful life, and unfortunately, he didn't meet a Bo Yulan like JBZ, or a Twenty-seven and Master She like MY, or a Tianji and Wanqiu like Yan Xiao. I wish he would understand that life has so much to offer and grow out of his obsession for Ming Yi. But I know it's just my wishful thinking.

Well, I feel that the sisters wouldn’t have answered her questions anyway to be honest. Even when she was trying…
Unless the subs are wrong they called her the last Bo descendants and her child. They knew her name. If I were her I would try to understand what they meant.
On Love in the Clouds Oct 23, 2025
I don't get why Ming yi didn't react to the things the Bo sisters told her. Like it went over her head. She was supposed to be smart. I get that her priority is to save herself but i would've some questions.

Girl, reading is fundamental. I precisely said I'm on ep 26. I wrote yet many times cause I don't know if the next episodes would change my mind. But you reacted quickly just because I didn't trash Situ Ling. I didn't watch what you are talking about. So thanks for the spoiler.

Unpopular opinion:
I'm on ep. 26. I may change my mind later but SL doesn't annoy me that much. He's clingy and pushy but I've seen sml that were more annoying than him. When there's someone who tries to get between the main ship, the fans tend to overreact. Most of times, it's clearly justifed. I don't see him as a villain. He didn't hurt JBZ or cross the line with MY yet. Sure his love isn't unconditional and he's delulu but he hasn't created a situation to separate them yet. Ming yi was the first person who treat him right. He was seen as less since he was born. I get his obsession. He can't see it but he mistake admiration and gratitude for love. I wanted him to come to realize it. But knowing xianxia's rules they always made the sml into a vilain and I hate when they did it. He may be annoying in the eyes of some but SL doesn't deserve a vilain arc. I'm glad he took his revenge against his brothers. What I hate is that Fuyue is so devoted to him but he doesn't see it. She gave him her everything. She deserves better.

Title A Hundred Memories Spoiler
I was so afraid it would end in Ktrauma, but this final episode was quite predictable. Except Jong Hee's brother trying to warn her. I didn't see it coming.
Jong Hee won. I had no doubt about it. Yeong Rye couldn't be more pride for her friend. Too bad they ruined this moment with the old boss craziness.
Everyone is happy. Even if they didn't give us any lovey-dovey moments, JH and YS ship is sailing.
YR and JH may had some disagrement along the way but the love was still there. They laughed, fought and loved each other deeply.
On A Hundred Memories Oct 19, 2025
Some are still frustrated that Yeong Rye ended up with Jae Pil and not the perfect Jung Hyun. While at no point did YR see JH as anything other than a brother or a friend. Some judge her whereas if their heart was already set on someone else, even if the perfect man showed up and seduced them, they wouldn't even give him their time.
Or it's unbelievable that JP loves YR, as if they've never heard of falling in love slowly while building an emotional bond. Loving someone after you learn about them, for them and not the idea of them.
Anyway their dating era was short but they were the cutest.

Thanks for this pov. I feel for her. In the first part, I always see her as a strong person despite the abuse she suffers. I didn’t think about her hvaing difficulty to make friends. Anyway, I want her to be unscathed and heal. Make new memories and find happiness. Hope the writers won't disappoint.

I haven't ignore this point, but the fact is that JH was adopted by a wealthy family. She began to thrive in a different environment. She didn't have to work hard to feed herself or pay bills. I know her mother is strict and controlling but this lifestyle provided more opportunities. She went to college. Why is she so lonely?
When Jong Hee arrived in Chongah, she stood up to the bully. Even after everything she went through since she was running away from her brother, she was more bubbly, scarred but still full of life. She had dreams. She had no one back then too.
She was The Jong Hee. Like YR, I wonder why she became like this?

JH is so relatable like even in the real world u have fun for a bit then u grow and it gets worse and worse and…
I'll tell you why I love Yeong Rye. YR is the eldest daughter in her family. She put her dream aside to work and help her mother provide for them. Although her mother loves her, we've seen that she didn't pamper her too much, taking her loyalty to her family for granted. Even when she told her she wanted to take night classes, her first response wasn't to encourage her. Because the reality is, she couldn't afford to help her daughter.
YR is a fighter. She went against her boss to help a friend in need. She doesn't give up. So far, she still hasn't managed to achieve her dream, but she's still working towards it. She lost a job, but she didn't complain and applied for another one.
YR is kind. Always willing to help in any way she can without asking for anything in return. YR doesn't come from a wealthy family. YR doesn't have a perfect life, but judging by her optimism, you'd think she doesn't have any hardships, that she doesn't get tired.
I don't like her because of JP. I started shipping them after the time jump, and I still had some reservations. Or because she's the lead.
I hope that even in difficult times, people can be as optimistic and kind as she is.

I don't think either Jong hee or Yeong rye could be hated for everything that's happened so far? If anything,…
If she hadn't run away? She might have ended up in jail. I don't know if that's a better alternative.
For me, Jong Hee's problem is that she's stuck in the past, a past where she was happy. Instead of trying to move on, to do something with her life that will make her happy, to make new friends, to follow her dreams,..People should cherish their happy memories but shouldn't drown in them. That's why, upon her return, she was shocked that no one stopped, but they all kept moving forward.
These people dealt with bad luck in their life.
-JP's family lost everything. His father fell ill. JP didn't even dream of becoming a doctor, but he changed his goals for his family. His stepmother went back to work even though she had a good life.
-YR's friends lost their jobs too. One even had a child out of wedlock. Yet they persevered.
-Jung Hyun left for the US for seven years, far from his family and friends. Yet, he hasn't changed.
All this to show the difference between them and Jong Hee.
She needs therapy.

Title A Hundred Memories Spoiler
There are people I feel like we're not watching the same drama. For those who say Yeong Rye stole Jong Hee's life, what did she take from her?
- Her job? They lost their jobs at the same time.
- Her friends? Her best friend was Yeong Rye. The others became friends with her thanks to YR.
- Her family? Sadly, she got none.
- Jae Pil? She broke up with him. YR spent seven years in an unrequited love.
For those who keep track of what she did for YR as if friendship were a give and take, let's recap.
- JH gave YR money when her mother fell ill. YR didn't ask or force her hand. She was even reluctant to accept her gesture.
- When JH's brother chased him, YR lied and saved her from him by illegally driving a bus. Which led to her brother's arrest when they went to the police station.
- As for Jae Pil, YR crossed paths with JP first and fell in love with him. But when they met again, JP fell in love with JH. Faced with this situation, she hid her feelings not to put JH in a difficult situation because she wanted her to be happy. JH then found out YR's feelings and didn't discuss with her about it, but decided to break up with JP. No one forced her to do so.
- Their boss attacks YR. Unfortunately, JH helps her by hurting him. Afraid she'll end up being charged, YR asks her to run away.
7 years later, YR works hard at a hair salon. JP is her friend, although they have built a strong emotional and affectionate bond.
Meanwhile, JH has met a wealthy woman who supported her, attended college, but is unhappy.
When they finally reunite, JH saw that YR has moved on with her life surrounded by family and friends, and JP has formed a strong friendship with her. Because her life isn't great and she's unhappy, she become envious of YR and tries to get back with JP, asking for YR's help. YR refused to help her because she also has feelings for him and don't want to miss her chance. In the end, JP realize his feelings for YR and they got together.
In all this, at what point is YR the bad guy? If you answer that she clung to JP even though JH loves him and she's her friend, the same can be said of JH.
At what point did she steal what belonged to her? YR lost her job because of JH's adoptive mother. Did she hold a grudge against her? No. She bounced back and looked for another one.
Everything YR has now, she already had it (family and friends). JP is a bonus. Life wasn't easy for YR either. She's worked hard for herself and her family. Just look at where she lives, but she's brave and keep moving on.
JH has accepted being locked in a gilded cage, putting her desires and dreams aside with the only escape being the moments in the past she shared with YR. She chose to be a stand in for that awful mother. I know she thought she had found a family with her. Sadly, she was wrong. She had no one but why couldn't she worked hard and built the life she wanted like she did when she started working at cheongah?
There's no one to blame except the circumstances and the choices that followed.

Correction:
As someone pointed out to me, I may have overlooked the trauma Jong Hee carries and the fact that she doesn't trust people and has trouble opening up to others. Hence her loneliness. Which is understandable.

Personally, I found it unfair that she attacked YR, blaming her for her misfortunes, and that some viewers agree when there was no grounds for it.
On A Hundred Memories Oct 18, 2025
Never thought I would say this but YR and JP are really cute together. Never saw JP this happy. He didn't even listen in the seminar. I'm glad he can give YR the love she was longing for.

If Tianji and Yan xiao don't have a happy ending, they better cast them as leads with the same setup. A love-hate relationship. Ennemies to lovers trope. Cause the chemistry is there and they're nailing those angst scenes.

I hope Su Yeon will bring him down. She helped him, supported him until he got there and him, under the pretext of protecting her, keep feeding her to the wolves. He failed to protect his wife and his daughter. In his ignorance, he gave free rein to this secretary to hound his wife. He is clueless and isn't apt to be president.
