I honestly don't get the hate towards his character. I get that most of those who are complaining are team SJ. But why Ziyu kindness, compassion are seen as weakness? Till then he didn't have any role in the family unlike SJ and YZ. They bullied and undermined him at every turn. He stopped trying to be their kin. He isn't skill as SJ, doesnt mean he can't learn. SJ is older than him too . He has experience and has already seen the world. Ziyu trust easily. I find it admirable because the environment he grew up was toxic for him and yet he still has a good nature. I don't believe he is that naive though.
They want him to be the bigger person towards SJ and YZ when both are still belittled him.
I like that he is a work in progress and he still believe in good in people. He knows he's lacking but gonna give his best. One cold ML is enough. This drama doesn't need another one.
Some don't mind that GSJ is falling for SGQ knowing she's a spy but would criticized GZY talking about not having chemistry when it's good enough or his gullibility regarding YWS.

They were the one who excluded Ziyu calling him name since he was a child and bullied him. So they have a great bond and were awful brothers to Ziyu.

She's annoying asf. She says hurtful things to him every time.

Who are you to tell us how we should feel about a drama? Or How we should rate it? You didn't like it. You're disappointed. Okay. It's YOUR opinion, YOUR feelings,... To each his own. The hate is real. You want it to be rated badly so you can say that she was the worst , she ruined the drama. Guess what? It wasn't perfect. It could've been better for sure. Nevertheless, some like me did enjoy the ride.
It's over. Find a drama you'll enjoy. At this point, it's really a hater behaviour. You're here writing I don't know how many negative comments. We get it, it wasn't your cup of tea then move on, erase it from your mind.

Her character revolves around the ML. Aren't they all ? Lol
She didn't believe that he was the murderer only because she loves him but because the team leader she knew wasn't that kind of man. And everyone in his team didn't believe it. They all trusted him.
But since you commented the same thing many times. It seems you're not fond of of the actress and you're taking it on her character because she's the FL and the ML loveline. You don't like her. You don't like her acting. Pretty sure if it was one of your fav in this role, with the same materials, you wouldn't have dissed the character so much. I said character as Hye won, not the actress as Seol hyun.

Don't waste your time. The reasons some don't like hye won are:
- the actress
- she's the female lead
- she's the ML's love interest.
Because from the start to the end, she did no wrong. She was a righteous cop and a badass fighter. Yes, her feelings were obvious in the beginning and she kept them in check when the case started unraveling. She was a bit lenient with her father. He's a monster but he was a loving father to her for 28 years at least from her pov. They would say her character revolves around the ML. Aren't they all. Isn't he the center of evrything going on? They are funny. Even the one with the worst mom gave her a chance to repent in the end.

She is not responsible for how her character is written. It is up to the writers. You may not like her acting, which is okay. She's not the best, but she wasn't that worse.

I won't say there's no romance (no skinship nor lovey dovey scene). It was subtle and hinted that the feelings were mutual but they didn't work on it.

There are hints of romance between NGM and Seolhyun characters. It's an open ending.

Honestly, I don't mind them, they can keep trolling. It just that I remembered seeing the same comment somewhere else.They want people to dislike HW character so they're saying the same thing on every good comment about her. I've my own opinions, they can have theirs too.

JW used her "only believing in facts" against her. He just showed her what she needed to see like that MODU guy said in an episode and girl believed it. She never questioned if she's missing something or if it feels right. She's smart but she doesn't think outside the box. Maybe if she remember everything, she'll get better because now she's a bit boring.

If you watched carefully the drama, you would've seen that she didn't pay attention at those pictures. She took the book that's all. She just know that's her dad is on the same line work. She even asked her mom if her dad could've known a colleague who worked at WNV back then. Her mom was oblivious too. She may not be the smartest in the team but she would've worked with this intel if she had it.

This drama is tagged with romance, why people are surprised. It's not like it takes half of the episode or too much focus on the plot. Or are some people complaining because it's not with Jamie. Personally, they do have chemistry with Jamie. They are just too similar for me. Like same person in female and male version. I like him with Hye Won better, but I doubt if there will be a happy ending for them. She is not everyone's favorite. I'm one of the few who like her and her fury ( she's a female version of some kdramas detective). She reacts in a slightly immature way with her crush but that doesn't bother me . She is dedicated to her work although I read different opinions about it. We've got enough smart people with Jung Woo and Jamie. I hope Jung woo will actually share his information with Jamie so they start working together and stop those monsters. Please,someone save Jae woong from his abuser.

Because everyone know there's something between them, that they love each other even if it's not official.

This drama make you wonder who's the OTP. The Prince has a lot of moments with the LA, same with the LQ and Ms Du. I don't like none of the second leads. I fast forward or speed x2 most of the time when they're on screen (and they got a lot ) .The prince, in the start ,was messing with Li Qingliu's business because he wasn't kissing his a** and helping the bad guys. In the new episodes, he acts like a capricious child who want long Aoyi, throw a tantrum despite knowing she doesn't love him. Watched the trailer ep.31- 36,He get worse in the upcoming episodes. Xiaoxian keep chasing Li Qingliu when he said that he didn't saw her as a romantic love interest but family. They could've get rid of some of their screentime to build up more the leads romance.

The romance between them is really underdeveloped. I didn't see a heart fluttering scene in those 30 episodes. Li Qinqliu grew on me too. You can see the character development.

So Long Aoyi has a secret identity too. Her master was talking about it on someone's grave on ep.22.
