All said well, and I agree. Maybe Bom deserves Heung Su instead! Now that would be an interesting combo :-)
Well, at the golf course, Kwangsook's facial expressions weren't much better than Bom's. Heavens, she was still reliving her fight with the Chairman. So between Kwangsook and Bom, their respective facial expressions were awful. And....added to that, Kwangsook kept missing the ball, to her and the Chairman's embarrassment. That was a funny scene.
And Miae is the same as Bom, like you pointed out. She needs to ask for a divorce first, before Tak starts on his revenge craziness.
I wonder if they will extend this series to another 4 episodes. Yes, Miae will be all proud and puffy, thinking that her son could be married to Bom. (is that what you meant above?)

Miae is also a snob, a crybaby, and, as you said, materialistic and money-grubbing. Miae should divorce Tak before he divorces her, explain to Kangsoo that she is his mother, get rid of her attitude, and live a different life, assuming she can get money from Tak with a divorce.

I'm glad you found my "oily museum woman" funny. There is the right word that describes her, but lacking the right word, oily came to mind. Ok, got the right word: smarmy!
Bom, I'm sure, has led a sheltered life. Also being daddy's little girl, she had him all to herself. However, her brother liked Kwangsook from the beginning.
But remember one thing: during the dinner between Kwangsook and Dong Seok, he clearly told her that she, Kwangsook, was more important than his two children—that she came first.
Bom is a snob - and as such, the "oily museum" would fit right in with her. But not with the Chairman and not necessarily with Bom's brother. He's just happy that his father found someone he could love.
I think if Bom were to get together with Gang Su, and find out that Gang Su is related to Kwangsook and respects her, I think Bom could change her mind, slowly.

Yes, in episode 38, Bom is not happy with Kwangsook. She seems uptight about Kwangsook replacing her deceased mother. I think the Chairman will see through that and put her in her place. Her brother clearly liked Kwangsook. Bom had picked the "oily" museum woman and kept insisting on her being with the Chairman, but he quickly told her to go bye-bye.
I think when Bom gets more involved with GangSu, then she may be more understanding about her father.

Tak is terribly gruesome! He is a hateful man, and I think he has never loved either his wife or his daughter. What he wants to do to poor Kangsoo - Why doesn't Mrs. Tak (when she isn't in bed or crying) divorce the Tak man? Nothing is stopping that man. I agree, 6 extra episodes are just fine with me. I enjoyed ep 38 today - I thought we were going down the hill but the writing recovered!
Interesting observation. She is unsure of the CEO, certainly. I don't see any love there at all from her side.…
I agree with you- by the end of episode 38, it looks like the main couple have a refreshed understanding of each other, and the brothers are all together for them, with one test coming up! Poor ML!
I've enjoyed episode 38. I was worried that Eagle was going to get worse, but the writing stabilized. I think the ML finally realized that she is not one of his employees, that she is someone he loves and has to be treated, like you said, with honesty, kindness, and firmness.

Well, Chairman got Bom a job - nothing more. I still have to watch ep 38.....I've been watching a very good J-drama. Something like "I want to punch that scumbag. " Honestly, really fun to watch.

I agree- she had a "tight mouth" when he said he had a girlfriend. She was not receptive, contrary to her happy brother. I don't think Bom is too happy herself, however.
in the last 3 ep the writers messed up the scenario .....
What I don't understand, before Episode 35, the writers did an excellent job. After that, it's been going downhill all around.
What I wonder, after the good writers write most of the beginning and middle part of Eagle, do they give some other, less-known writers a chance to finish it?
In other words, does Eagle have two sets of writers?
CEO Ma is sitting on the fence and not standing up for her love... see how she defends HERSELF when it is about…
Interesting observation. She is unsure of the CEO, certainly. I don't see any love there at all from her side. He loves her, and he should play a little hard to get. He is so strong with how he feels that it freaks her out.
Of course, in the beginning, he was pretty awful himself, calling her a snake, too, and treating her pretty badly. So there is some bad history there.
Dear me, many episodes left to torture us all! :-)

Is there really a 4-episode extension? Maybe 54 episodes would iron all the problems out. I wonder why Bom has some problems with Dongseak? After all, Dongseak gave Bom a nice job, and he seems fair to him. Anyone know?
HS and ex wife suck. I want to ff their scenes whenever their smug faces are on my screen. HS is the epitome of…
You are 1000% right. I liked this series and was looking forward to the next weekend, but somewhere it got lost. It started losing me around episode 35 or so. Too much attention has been placed on HS and the ex-wife, and the annoying Taks.
Guang Suk is starting to annoy me with her hesitancy toward Dong Seok, and Dong Seok is overpowering. Well, we will survive until the end. But for me, it fell from an 8.5 to a 7.8.
Maybe Bom deserves Heung Su instead!

(and change her thick lipstick :-))

Nexe, there is hope!!!
I think CEO is up to the task - according to ep 38 of Eagle. (the last part)

We're getting there MilicaB!!

Lots to happen in the next many episodes

I haven't watched episode 38 yet today.
