In watching those videos about the ML and his family, one can see his intensity and focus with his children, especially. He is definitely not an empty suit. An interesting actor/person.

Today was even more interesting with regards to his screen personality:

ML revealed a bit more of himself - I would say more autocratic? :-)
Wanted to be fed by FL at his house, and just gets easily twisted a bit.
His humor is fun to watch, and his face is cute.

She is pretty too, and now she might be coming more alive and responsive to him - in the preview, she gives him a cheek kiss. Wow!

Do you know what makes me sad? is that there are only about 15 more episodes. I just love this series. And I am normally critical of many other K series. I wish more people would watch it and raise the score.

This lovely series has very few fillers- that's one reason why it is so special. For me, it is almost a perfect series - Now we have to wait one more week.

I haven't watched today's episode (#34?), but I'm sure you are right; otherwise, Hani could be frightened or, at best, confused. Hani is always looking at her parents when filming - Honestly, it bothers me a bit.

Dong Seok has developed some humor with Gwang Suk, making fun of her uptightness and her refusal to admit that she is coy - I love the "new" ML - his facial expressions toward her are fun to watch! Love this show so much!!!

I mean, she cries and seems frightened at times.
Especially when the FL was irritated with the ML and she yelled at the brothers-in-law.
That bothers me too.
The writers probably could have used a child aged 2 or so.
And the result could have been ok.
Hani isn't listed in the cast of characters. Maybe for protection?

Yes, the director has done an excellent job, too. All the actors are doing the best job ever.
The story is great, the acting, directing, and focused camera work make this the best series of 2025 for me.

Yes, I read about his cerebral hemorrhage. That can leave a permanent fear that it can happen again. I don't know if you watched it, but there was a video of AJW with his psychiatrist, going into his depression, etc.

I was surprised that he allowed this session with his psychiatrist to be viewed by us.

Yes, I looked at what other dramas the director has done, and the list was small. So as you said, this is his first full-length drama.

He looked so concerned in some of the BTSs - now it makes sense - it is his big chance for success. I think he has done a great job as the Eagles' director. Time-wise, everything moves quickly along, with no unnecessary pauses,

When I watched him directing in some of the BTSs, I was impressed by how careful he was. Also, there was an interview on YouTube where all the main actors expressed themselves.

In particular, the director spoke about his concerns that the FEB would be successful and appreciated. I wish I had a link to that interview.

Well said - but let's not forget the director. In an interview, he was concerned that not enough people would appreciate this series. The writing is flawless, but so is the director.
And of course, the acting was perfect.

I agree, I watched the 5-6 episodes with interest. He seems to be doing the majority of the cooking, childcare, camping prep, and other duties.

I found that interesting. He had a serious operation in Las Vegas NV, and there was a video of him talking with a psychiatrist.

He appears to be a cautious man (like his character in Eagle). But he also appears to be somewhat of a tense and a perfectionist person. That is all from the videos that I'm been watching.

I haven't gone as far as you have in looking at the K actors, but only if I am interested in the excellent actors.

The director seems quite serious about getting the best production possible. In an interview, he was worried that the number of viewers would be low, and that troubled him.

I agree - as long as we get a good drama! I was just commenting after you posted so many great BTS's. I haven't finished them all, but they will be good during the week, substituting no Eagle episodes until the weekend.
