I have a problem getting to Disney to even work. For me in USA, Disney hardly has ANY Korean dramas. So I have…
I live in the US and I have the same difficulty Disney in the US does not show Asian, in particular, Korean dramas. I have to resort either to Kiss or YouTube.
I have no idea why they don't allow us to watch Korean series. I don't think Disney, for that reason alone, will bury Netflix. If anyone needs any proof, look at the stock value of Netflix vs Disney. Netflix is way ahead and Disney has not been doing well!
That was difficult to get through, even being that short, I had a hard time with it.Thank you for reading ❤️
This would be an endless list that would go on forever but it would be quite humorous, especially accompanied by a snapshot drama video showing the trope. Thank you Blkittykat!

Yes, the new trope, is a serial killer in a rom-com. How ridiculous is that! I haven't seen any serial killer in any C/drama yet. I'm watching Romance in the House, which has a mysterious ML, and I hope he doesn't turn into one such. We should make a list of all useless tropes - :-) I don't think there is enough life time to do just that.

Jung Haein's ability to speak volumes with just his eyes is truly mesmerizing. Even when his character talks nonsense…
He is one of the best K actors we have. Even though he seems thinner than in his earlier series, his facial expressions tell it all. I never get tired of watching him.
So did she quit her job or was she let go? Also, was I the only one crying when she was talking to her mom asking…
I got the impression that she lost her job and also she saw her boyfriend with another woman. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I'll have to rewatch it.

I think the writers almost have gotten rid of the "Big White Truck" trope but still, the phone call interruption is still there - annoying! Oh so many others, the wicked ex-girlfriend that wants her man back....I can go on forever and we all can!
lol why does this have 7.8?? It's like anything that's not formulaic teenybopper romcom with popular actors automatically…
Darn, you are so 100% right. Let us, for once, get a mature series that is sensitive and well-written, minus the over used tropes.. Thank you for saying what you just wrote.
I'm not sure how to feel about episode 3 and 4. Episode 3 was cringe with the overacting by the neighbors and…
Well said.
Very well written - very few overused tropes, thank goodness. A fresh new look for a K/drama. However, I like the acting of Ji Jin Hee very much. He portrays the "gangster" and the "softie" both at the same time. He was wonderful in Designated Survivor, a completely different role.
All 4 are struggling - He thought he could buy his way in with money. I'm hoping for a happy ending, whatever that means.
Thank you for writing such an interesting article. 3 min/episode and filled with violence - no wonder it is rated so low. You were brave to write such an interesting article - thank you so much!!!
This is a comment section, everyone can comment whatever they fell like. There is any rule that say you can only…
Thank you for saying that - this is an open forum - some commenters get out of shape when someone criticizes a drama. They sort of take possession of a drama and any criticism is a no-no.

She has quite a story to tell.

I hope someday, someone will write an article about the overuse of tropes.
There are some series that are just driven by tropes.
Again thank you!

I like Ji Jin He's "tough" acting in this series
We all want to know where he got all the money.
So far, ep 1 was fun to watch.
