Jung Haein's ability to speak volumes with just his eyes is truly mesmerizing. Even when his character talks nonsense…
He is one of the best K actors we have. Even though he seems thinner than in his earlier series, his facial expressions tell it all. I never get tired of watching him.
So did she quit her job or was she let go? Also, was I the only one crying when she was talking to her mom asking…
I got the impression that she lost her job and also she saw her boyfriend with another woman. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I'll have to rewatch it.
That was difficult to get through, even being that short, I had a hard time with it.Thank you for reading ❤️
I think the writers almost have gotten rid of the "Big White Truck" trope but still, the phone call interruption is still there - annoying! Oh so many others, the wicked ex-girlfriend that wants her man back....I can go on forever and we all can!
lol why does this have 7.8?? It's like anything that's not formulaic teenybopper romcom with popular actors automatically…
Darn, you are so 100% right. Let us, for once, get a mature series that is sensitive and well-written, minus the over used tropes.. Thank you for saying what you just wrote.
I'm not sure how to feel about episode 3 and 4. Episode 3 was cringe with the overacting by the neighbors and…
Well said.
Very well written - very few overused tropes, thank goodness. A fresh new look for a K/drama. However, I like the acting of Ji Jin Hee very much. He portrays the "gangster" and the "softie" both at the same time. He was wonderful in Designated Survivor, a completely different role.
All 4 are struggling - He thought he could buy his way in with money. I'm hoping for a happy ending, whatever that means.
Thank you for writing such an interesting article. 3 min/episode and filled with violence - no wonder it is rated so low. You were brave to write such an interesting article - thank you so much!!!
This is a comment section, everyone can comment whatever they fell like. There is any rule that say you can only…
Thank you for saying that - this is an open forum - some commenters get out of shape when someone criticizes a drama. They sort of take possession of a drama and any criticism is a no-no.
This was a genuinely fun watch and I usually hate the childhood best friends trope. I like that both the male…
Well said! I too don't like the childhood best friends trope but for now, these scenes are short and to the point so they don't bother me as much. Yes, the mom beating an adult daughter is foreign to me. It is not like she did anything wrong It is because the mother kept bragging about her daughter and now she got caught.
So far so good- I hadn't seen Jung Hae In since I watched "A Piece of Your Mind" and he looked different to me. Still nice looking though and such a good actor.
As a long-time K-drama fan, I definitely think the quality has declined a bit. These days, I find myself watching…
I used to watch only K dramas but the more C dramas I watch, the less K dramas I watch. C dramas have too many episodes but are usually quite interesting in their chosen subjects. My favorite C dramas are Hidden Love, Road Home, Fireworks of My Heart, and many others. I generally find that K dramas are a bit shallower than C dramas. I'm currently watching You Are My Secret - a nice C drama.
Well said, thank you! That woman is annoying and treacherous. She wants ML at all costs.I hope we don't have her…
Thanks for your reply! she has no shame - I bet she will continue until she is stopped or fired, one way or the other. I think her harm will be building up as the episodes go on. Scary that she is still around in the intro! Why does there always have to be a woman in these dramas who wants to disturb the natural pace of things?
ML needs to be frank with her - He's very businesslike with her but she needs a more direct message from him.
I know he is trying to be professional but one can still be professional and be more direct with her.
I don't think she will even go away if he is direct - it will take more, whatever that will be.
Totally agree with you about the wonderful acting of Chae Jong Hyeop! As I wrote in anothe post, I watched him…
Thank you so much - I will watch the UT video - am anxious to watch it. I'm on ep 7 of Serendipty's Embrace - on Viki. There are 8 episodes. Nice drama. So those are two that I would recommend.
I'll watch the video and get back to you again, thank you so much.
Someone correct me if I am wrong. I'll have to rewatch it.

I hope someday, someone will write an article about the overuse of tropes.
There are some series that are just driven by tropes.
Again thank you!

I like Ji Jin He's "tough" acting in this series
We all want to know where he got all the money.
So far, ep 1 was fun to watch.

My the Influencer is sure a live wire :-)
Interesting conversation - I enjoyed watching it, and thank you!
