Yes, I am waiting for the next Xu Kai drama with Tan. I think one either likes her or not like her. I've seen her in quite a few dramas.

Road Home was one of my favorites. Some with her I like, some, I liked less.

AASOL was fantastic - ML absolutely darling and Jin Mai does remind me of L&P.

Ok, I need a dictionary of symbols for the dramas we watch.
Everyone knows CLOY but I get lost in the symbol - there is no looking :-) haha.

When I clean up my list tonight I'll put a symbol for each drama.

I think that would be a nice article for MDL!!! An MDL symbol dictionary, Ha!

We also need a symbols for the actors/actresses.

I have rewatched Road Home - at least twice in most parts. Interesting that you didn't like the FL. I've watched many of her series.

Fireworks of My Heart - 3 times watched but not the rescue scene.
I love the FL in Fireworks.

What did you think about Amidst a Snow Storm of Love?
I liked it mostly.

I've watched Cunning Single Lady 3 times in the last few years.
really liked it.
I also think the CDramas have improved in the last few years.
So much hype has been showered on KDramas but the product has not always been as good as the hype.

Yes, I sort of liked it.
I like the ML in It's Ok not to Be Ok and FL in My Liberation Notes.
But I Queen of Tears was just ok for me -
I liked the beginning episodes ....
I really like C dramas more I guess.

The writer started off ok, I really liked it at the beginning but so she gave up her dreams? What were her dreams? I don't think I remember what they were. I think at the end she was basically happier than before because she had her two children and their significant others all under one umbrella - except for her son, who would have probably live with his girlfriend and her child.

Needless to say I was pretty disappointed. Oh well, there is always a next one.

Did you like Queen of Tears? There is supposed to have two more episodes in early May but no notice from Netflix yet.

The mother thought she had lung cancer - the doctor told her she needed further tests to verify it It was so dull toward the end but I think she was ok, at that point I didn't really care about her and her miserable life she made for herself, her husband and her two adult children.

Yes, Xu Kai is an interesting actor but he didn't have an interesting role toward the end - all the show was pointed to the mother. He just happily became part of the family but basically he played a small role toward the end. Yes he stayed romantic with the FL but she was sort of a turnoff, especially showing any affection with him in public.

Definitely not a rewatch for me.

Same here on Choice - the mother's role took the big role, leaving the others behind. It was so sad to watch the ending. What a game the mother's role played.
Yang Zi is also not my favorite actress. In Choice her role was so accommodating to everyone to her own detriment. It started really well and ended in a whimper.

So the FL lead in Go Go Squid is the one in Best Choice - which started really well but went down a few steps toward the end. I will definitely watch it. Thank you twinty!

Yes, I watched Falling into Your Smile - I liked that series. I didn't watch Go Go Squid.

He is so different from the usual pretty actor men. I liked the ML in Back Home, I liked the ML (Yang Yang) in Fireworks of my Heart, and quite a few more that I have rewatched in parts. Yes, and Liberation Notes with the actor playing Mr. Gu.
But yes, Li Xian is pretty special - unique, a kind of manliness. Very different.

I'm on ep 4 of Meet Yourself - long conversations - you are right.
But...Li Xian is the reason why I am watching this.
Honestly, I had never watched his acting before but I was so impressed with his acting in Love in Spring that I wanted to watch more of his series.
He certainly is an unusual actor, he has an aura of manliness and is not one of the usual pretty boys in Asian dramas.

I hope he will be getting more roles. quite a varied actor.

Are there any more series that he is in that you watched?

Yes, Meet Yourself is a calming drama - the town is calming too!

I started watching Meet Yourself and I had found it boring at first but now I am rewatching it and I am getting used to the pace.

I also thought HCC was a bit boring with all the side stories - families etc.

Will Love in Spring is just perfect. I am waiting for the rest of the episodes - Love the main couple and the grandmother etc.

The ML's acting is so real. Wow. And the FL's friend is so pretty and a real good actress.

I'm going to watch Meet Myself (I had started watching it but something stopped me - I dropped it so I'll start again.

I don't watch costume but I do like a lot of modern C/dramas. eg: Amidst a Snowstorm of Love, Road Home and like that. I sort of lost my original interest in K/dramas for now at least.
