There are three that I rewatch:
Road Home is one
Fireworks of my heart is another
My Liberation notes
And maybe one or two more

Ep 17 was outstanding. I can't compare it to any other series. I was awestruck with the romantic scene at the end.
ML is fantastic - I must watch other series that he was in.
Each was focused on each other.

Only 4 more episodes left. Definitely a rewatch.

No hype on this one - I just watched it from a recommendation from a friend.
Quite a find.

So thankful for your complete reply. I had no idea the reason for it. Her relatives were not very nice except for the mom's sister.
Waiting for ep 31/32 - Honestly, I like this series so much.
It was thoughtfully written without makjang or a lot of tropes.

You've made some excellent points. I just dislike the mother lacking respect for her husband. He is such a kind man.
Living in the US, that kind of family structure is relatively unknown here.

However, people who have moved from other countries to the US still practice a lot of their old country practices.

Finally, her 2 children have expressed dissatisfaction with their mother but it is hard for her to learn the new ways. It's like her brain is ROMed in the old traditions.

My parents came from a foreign country so I see both sides.

I love this drama!
I'm scoring it an 8.5 so far.
It has romance, human struggle and growth, and 2 episodes per day.
There is no hype for this drama, unlike the hype from the fans of other current series.
It is just a good drama with good acting and a good story.

This is a wonderful drama - I've enjoyed it so much so far:
The mother is finally slowly understanding her children's wish for freedom, the ML is changing as his love for the FL progresses.

All we need is for the father of the 2 adult children to become stronger and not just a tool of the mother. He takes it out on drinking and trying to pacify the mother but it doesn't work. Poor man.

Yes, some members of MDL personally attack the commenter of the post if the commenter criticizes a series.
This series, I think, has a lot of exuberant fan support.
Especially fan supporters of the ML and some for the FL.
They will attack anyone that they don't agree with.
That is what spoils social media.

I feel the same way. Very overhyped.
FL in Liberation Notes was excellent and so was the series.
ML in It's ok to not be ok was excellent and so was the series.
2ML is possessed for sure.

So much screen time is spent on the ML's family -
There are quite a few holes in the series too.
However, only 3 more episodes to go - hope she will make it and they live happily to the end.

And I forgot, I rarely shed tears but with the grandmother, wow - lots of onion cutting.

I agree with you 100%. I have no idea why the rating is so low. I rated it 9.0.
The acting, writing, OST, scenery, everything is perfect.
It is what a series should be like - family, love, competition - what is there not to like?
There is no makjang, no contrived plots, and few tropes.

The mother is a pest but she will come around.

It is truly overhyped. The first episodes are really good but it is getting toward the end and I'm liking it less and less.
Acting is very good but the writing is not consistent.
Lots of holes.
