This was a genuinely fun watch and I usually hate the childhood best friends trope. I like that both the male…
Well said! I too don't like the childhood best friends trope but for now, these scenes are short and to the point so they don't bother me as much. Yes, the mom beating an adult daughter is foreign to me. It is not like she did anything wrong It is because the mother kept bragging about her daughter and now she got caught.
So far so good- I hadn't seen Jung Hae In since I watched "A Piece of Your Mind" and he looked different to me. Still nice looking though and such a good actor.
As a long-time K-drama fan, I definitely think the quality has declined a bit. These days, I find myself watching…
I used to watch only K dramas but the more C dramas I watch, the less K dramas I watch. C dramas have too many episodes but are usually quite interesting in their chosen subjects. My favorite C dramas are Hidden Love, Road Home, Fireworks of My Heart, and many others. I generally find that K dramas are a bit shallower than C dramas. I'm currently watching You Are My Secret - a nice C drama.
Well said, thank you! That woman is annoying and treacherous. She wants ML at all costs.I hope we don't have her…
Thanks for your reply! she has no shame - I bet she will continue until she is stopped or fired, one way or the other. I think her harm will be building up as the episodes go on. Scary that she is still around in the intro! Why does there always have to be a woman in these dramas who wants to disturb the natural pace of things?
ML needs to be frank with her - He's very businesslike with her but she needs a more direct message from him.
I know he is trying to be professional but one can still be professional and be more direct with her.
I don't think she will even go away if he is direct - it will take more, whatever that will be.
Totally agree with you about the wonderful acting of Chae Jong Hyeop! As I wrote in anothe post, I watched him…
Thank you so much - I will watch the UT video - am anxious to watch it. I'm on ep 7 of Serendipty's Embrace - on Viki. There are 8 episodes. Nice drama. So those are two that I would recommend.
I'll watch the video and get back to you again, thank you so much.

Thank you for your thoughts above. Do you remember who the influencer was that also played the character in ELY? What an interesting thing the influencer said that CJH did a lot of homework and did some ad libs too. Such a talented actor.
BTW: I am watching You Are My Secret. I am on Ep 3 and it is terribly enchanting! ML is Wei Zhe Ming and his role is not the usual cold CEO - it is a warm, soft role that is so different from the roles he has played. It is on Viki.
Thank you again for shining a light on Eye Love You cast.

Yes, I was watching some BTSs and FL seemed like a very social and likeable person and seemed to enjoy acting with CJH.. In the series, ELY, she is scared to death at almost every scene except for the very last one. The fact that she could hear what someone is thinking made her a successful business person (together with her partner) And her scared personality was even brought up by the ML more than once. Despite all the events that made her who she was, I was constantly annoyed by her jumpiness, her ever being frightful, and just her mannerisms throughout the series - of course it was planned by the writer for her to be like this, unfortunately.
I would not rewatch this series but I think it was a good watch - the ML made it watchable, and fun in many ways.
It is amazing how one story book could cause so many problems!

Watch Serendipity's Embrance - you'll see another side of his acting. It's on Viki, now. In Nevertheless, he was outshined by Song Kang - who played a scrumptious role compared to CJH, by writer's design.
I have not watched Love All Play - Thank you for the idea. I have to say however, the FL, in Eye Love you, is really annoying :-) Again by writer's design.
I have watched most of the Japan+Korea collaborated romance dramas. Most of them weren't great due to three main…
Totally agree with you about the wonderful acting of Chae Jong Hyeop! As I wrote in anothe post, I watched him in Nevertheless, then Serendipity (current on Viki) and now Eye Love You. His acting ability in these two last series is fantastic.
I'm up to ep 4 and I really like this short, sweet, funny, fantasy series. The ML, Chae Jong Hyeop, shows new signs of good acting - taking this role as partly comedic and partly amusing. I saw him originally in Nevertheless but he has grown into a very interesing and varied actor. Watching him also in Serendipity, playing a different role all together This series is worth watching!
The amount of tears I cried watching that I couldn't call it a romantic comedy but it still had some funny moments.
It's been so long that I've watched it that I would have called it a romcom as a general category but Tom is right - it was a romance melodrama. It is one of my favorite series. The final scene was perfect. I am so anxious to watch Love Next Door - !
i also first saw her in fox's summer in 2019.after that i become a fan of her. Later in Under the power i came…
Yes, I agree, to have a chance to work with her again would be nice but he just didn't like the role he played. If I remember, both their roles were pretty nasty :-) It all worked out in Season 2. It's been so long that I've watched it that I don't remember all the details.

The main lead Jiang Chao. He felt that his role was too negative - didn't like the role at all. I tried to find some info on that but I can't. All I remember is that he said he would never play that kind of role again. Too mean.

I hope we don't have her hanging around until the end.
My the Influencer is sure a live wire :-)
Interesting conversation - I enjoyed watching it, and thank you!

This is a real departure for Wei Zhe Ming!
He usually plays the cold CEO that finally defrosts.
Up to now, this is a lovely series to watch. It is so different from other C/dramas.
The FL also plays an interesting role.
I'm so glad I found this series.

How about Something In The Rain? 2018
Or was that not considered a romcom?
If I remember, both their roles were pretty nasty :-)
