Title Summer Crush
Very simple story, I liked the kiss scenes, nothing too crazy plot wise, also liked how there was a wholesome GL side story, kinda wish we saw more of them too but it’s alright. I do wanna say I see a bit of a resemblance on Kim Ho Yun with younger Jungkook, I think I might be the only one?

On The Great Flood Feb 3, 2026
I liked the movie, I''m really into natural disaster/futuristic topics and end of the world topics as well so this really hit all those marks. It was really well made and the acting was great as well, yes it was confusing honestly but with reading some reviews all the signs become so much clearer and the movie does as well, I definitely think this movie is one of those you have to watch like 3-4 times to catch any hidden signs of foreshadowing. But I think they did a good job.

Title It's You
This short series reminded me of boiled chicken, super bland and very boring. This is the type of plot thats exciting if it's happening to you, but not something you watch. There wasn't any spark and I didn't feel the chemistry, on top of that theres no sort of affection or physical touch other than a hug. I've watched some short series with no kiss and they have chemistry, so it's possible, but this one lacked everything needed for a decent BL and a decent story. I also wanted to see more of Yeon U's friends and how their relationship would develop cause honestly that would've been my favorite couple if they had more screen time. Needless to say this isn't something to waste your time on, I don't recommend.

Review The Sparkle in Your Eye Spoiler
You expressed exactly how I felt about this series in pure details, I really hate how a lot of CBL's get overly glazed just because they managed to escape censorship, but we have to equally evaluate and rate these series regardless of which country they come from. This series lacked more than it didn't and yes you mentioned a lot of solid points that should be acknowledged but a lot of this series was just a pure mess. I think I hated the second couple the most, and I hated Fang Runzhi with everything in me. The main focus was on him constantly, and as for the second couple, god I despised Yi Wei, he was a bad partner and person, he lowkey forgot about everything else but his career, fame, and money. He was a people pleaser, or should I say he only wanted to please Fang Runzhi to get to the top, and he was willing to bring Su Yi down. He only stepped up last minute and it made no sense to me, cause for half the series I just saw him as a selfish asshole. And also Yi Wei and Su Bai getting back together or whatever that was in the last episode just did it for me and that relationship, truly was a mood ruiner. Anyway amazing review, you really know your stuff.

I believe a lot of us are feeling the exact same kind of grief for a man whom most of us never really knew before…
I agree. I feel as time passes the less likely justice will actually be served, mostly when it’s being covered up without care in the world. We can only hope and see what happens. I jus hope his family is able to eventually be at peace, I know how death of a close one feels so this is something no amount of time can heal. We just learn to deal with the pain. I just hope that phase comes sooner for his family. And I honestly hope he’s at peace now.

I didn't know him at all, I've never even seen any of his dramas, but when I heard of what happened it really broke me, he didn't deserve that pain and suffering and less to die. I hate how this crime is being ruled as accidental fall, he was murdered, and I hope one day justice is served, I hope one day he's able to rest in peace. I feel so much sadness and idek why, I say this cause I'm not really the type to be too involved in tragic stories like these, mostly if I didn't know the person much or at all, I feel sad yes but nothing too crazy. But this case... this really hits me, I really feel so sad today for him to the point I cant sleep, I'm crying for him, and in a sense I miss him. Its so crazy what the mind can feel, a person I don't even now and didn't know before this, someone who's a stranger, yet I feel so much grief towards him. We love you, we miss you, and I hope you're resting in peace. I hope those who did this to you burn in hell, I hope in their next life they are miserable, and I hope in your next life you get to live a long happy healthy life, full of joy and love. Rest in peace angel. You were so loved and still are.
On My Secret Vampire Jan 23, 2026
Cute little simple story, I enjoyed it! I liked that it was kind of like enemies to lovers at first, I enjoyed the tension and chemistry. I must say I was sad Kang Seon Jae, I hope he's able to find a good partner someday, he's a great friend to literally support his crush and friend together. It takes guts. I also wanted to see more from Jung Gyu Min and Cha Eun Ho, I feel like the kiss they had wasn't even real it was more like a camera angle trick... Kind of disappointing but oh well... Needless to say, definitely a cute watch.

On The Journey to Killing You Jan 21, 2026
I usually love the vibes JBL's brings and this one was one of them, though it wasn't perfect. It was decently good. I like when BL's have that criminal/mafia tone to them but they're also romantic, it's like tragic trauma meets love. I think this could've been improved with maybe not making the main focus the fact that Odajima's friend died, though I get that was the whole purpose on him chasing after Kataoka, it felt like the same scenes were used as fillers for a story we already knew. I also wish there was a bit more chemistry, and that Episode 1 didn't start off with Odajima getting r4p3d by Kataoka. People seriously need to stop normalizing SA and r4p3 as "love" and romance. But yeah, other than that just wish it had slightly more depth and more chemistry.

On Never Ending Story Jan 21, 2026
I really liked the chemistry and how much of a slow burn it was even though it was short, but I have yet to find a unique short series, the story is very mediocre and there isn't much excitement until maybe the last episode or so, also the conflict felt rushed and like it was decided last minute, but overall not a bad watch just minor flaws. Def a cute watch and something to kill some time. I will say the actors are beautiful.

On Never Date a Capricorn Jan 21, 2026
Story wise it was very very basic, nothing too crazy, I liked the chemistry and the slow pacing in the relationship regardless of how little time we had, with just 4 episodes each about 15 min long they managed to make it more of a slow burn which is a common pattern with Secret Of Us, and I love that. But yeah there isn't too much to this short series, very basic. Nice watch to kill some time.

On Rule #1: No Dating Jan 19, 2026
The poster for this drama is honestly misleading. I expected some kind of love triangle or intentional romantic tension, but instead the main source of conflict ends up being a homophobic, immature character whose role is to threaten outing people. The story follows Jung Woo and Jun Hee, two longtime friends and lovers who are scouted by an entertainment company with a strict no-dating rule for three years. To protect their debut, they’re forced to hide and publicly end their relationship. A third member, Alex, is later added, and the three debut as the group Deep Blue. Rather than adding depth, his involvement mostly fuels jealousy and unnecessary conflict that overshadows the romance. Told through very short episodes, the pacing is surprisingly well spaced out compared to other short BL's, and the chemistry between the two main characters was there with the great kiss scenes, there were some unrealistic things like Alex becoming more mature and "innocent" like after he outed both his group members, I think people can't change overnight or even in a few weeks to months, and just adding glasses on someone doesn't make them "innocent". While the premise had potential especially with idol culture and secret relationships, I think it just wasn't anything too crazy, I wouldn't necessary recommend but its also not really a waste of time, just a casual watch. It’s not terrible, but it’s very average. Fine for a quick watch, just not particularly memorable.
