It's not a bad watch, definitely a very low budget production and the acting is very rookie mostly on Kim Chan Kyu /Jae Yeon part. I think with better budget and better acting my rating could've been higher, I think the story wasn't developed super well as well, it was kind of fast but I still liked it to some extent. Regardless there isn't much to say about this other than budget and acting. PS: I loved the managers character so cute!
I think everyone, including myself, is confused about some parts of this short film, and this might just be one of those films where everyone can fill in the emptiness of What? Who? Where? When? And Why? but most likely it's either one perspective that is right or just everyones as a collective being right or none at all. Who knows...? I honestly don't have much of an opinion or view on this one and what the mystery could've been, I kind of see it as the mystery being part of the purpose of the film, were just meant to be in the unknown as viewer just like the younger brother is as a character. Maybe thats the case, maybe not. Regardless every perspective is very interesting and if you ever have some free time, read a couple comments or reviews and their POV on the mystery of this short film and watch it with that mindset, you will see how fascinating it is seeing things in someone else's eyes.
I think this is good content for those who are fans of this couple and probably would enjoy anything they released. But as a BL watcher I don't find this interesting or appealing in any way. It's very slow paced and it looks more like a vlog than an actual series, which makes sense considering majority of their content is vlogging. It looks like they tried making it look a bit like a series but failed, also the music is way too loud I can barely hear them talk, and idk what the whole Japanese talk that was going on in the beginning of Episode 1 but this doesn't seem worth my time. I appreciate the efforts put but it's simply nothing more than fan service .
Will there be a second season to this? Cause this feels super unfinished, I thought of rating it a 7 but it doesn't really meet that standard. I can't lie the story isn't bad and it actually had so much potential if it didn't have that ending. But honestly I doubt it'll have a second part, most series who end like this don't have a second season or part or any of the sort. I feel like Secret Of Us is just running out of ideas at this point, their work recently has even repetitive, unfinished, or just full of sad or confusing endings. Hope things start to get better eventually.
Honestly idek what to say, a lot is wrong here imo. I think it was extremely fast paced even for a short series, it was unrealistic and dramatic, and everyone felt immature and just once again unrealistic. The acting is okay, definitely needs more improvement on multiple actors including the parents, the script isn't helping this case either. And overall I found it very boring to the point I almost dropped it, but I stayed committed, I was dissociating majority of the time, and had to take multiple breaks in between to continue watching it. Just overall, not a good series. I am not against short series, but if you don't know how to work with the little time you have then don't make a series to begin with. A lot of series have this time crunch problem. Short series are short, yes, but you can make it work, mostly if it's the same length as a regular movie. I'm very tired of these mediocre plots, with mediocre acting, and ideas, and nothing really getting done properly. Let's bring horizontal series back to normality.
Mhm.. I didn't like it much. It's an interesting premise but it wasn't for me, I also am confused about the story, I understood like 20%. But I guess it's unique, just nothing interesting imo.
Ok this was kind of annoying to watch just cause I found a link that had subtitles in a whole other language so I had to translate almost every frame, but that's nobody's fault. I will say I liked this idea, like genuinely I would watch and enjoy a longer movie or series with a similar plot and more details to it of course, I think its cute and funny and it could low-key be a hit if made into something more in 2026, but overall its simple and nothing too much, very short, and cute and funny. Kind of reminds me of "Marry My Dead Body".
Yeah idk what was going on here and honestly I don't really care rn to understand, I've been on a roll on watching confusing artistic movies/films and I'm honestly over it atp. I will say the song they kept playing was scary asf, idk this whole film gave me a creepy vibe.
I thought of rating it a 7 but I don't feel like it reaches that rating sadly. I try not to rate super low and always look at a series/movie etc. in many POV's but this one just lacked a lot and made the watch very boring. I had to watch in 2x for majority of the series cause I was just so bored.
To start the chemistry wasn't there for me, like I still think they moved way too fast into liking each other, and it doesn't matter that this is a short series cause overall the whole series is 1 hour and 44 minutes long, the same length as a regular movie, and that's enough time to develop a plot properly. But everything was just very fast paced and it felt unrealistic. This series tries to be funny but majority of the time it fails to do so, mostly with the sound effects, there were times I giggled but most of the times the jokes weren't delivered, and some weren't even jokes at all.
I just think the story overall was very wack. The acting was very rookie level too but of course that can be improved so I wont shame them for that, we all start somewhere. And the cinematography and production was probably the best part in this series.
But yeah overall needs a lot of improvement and story wise is very weak. Would only recommend to those who want to pass time and don't mind a very mediocre story.
Yeah this was a big no for me. Honestly I'm a huge fan of weird more to the dark atmosphere BL's, one of my favorite BL's (movie wise) are Grand Guignol and Sing In Love and both are dark and extremely weird plot wise and everything wise, but something about them both intrigues me. This one failed to do so, and idk if its cause the plot was just very basic and boring, your typical vampire story I guess... Or maybe the fact that everything felt rookie, from production to acting. This movie just fails to deliver whatever it was trying to deliver. I thought of dropping it but I was committed to finish this. Needless to say, there isn't much about this BL, its just very much lacking in a lot of aspects and I wouldn't recommend it not even was something to pass time. This is the first BL in a while if not lowkey the first I've rated a 5. Cause it's just simply that bad.
Ok I don't think this is the best series ever and it definitely has its flaws, its super unrealistic in so many ways and tbh if you watch it with the mindset of this is just a funny unserious series then you can enjoy more. I found this series so funny because of how unrealistic it was and unserious, I think the chemistry between the ML's was okay, nothing too crazy, and its just a cute funny series to pass some time.
Wow I'm getting flashbacks from "Sexual Lessons" lol. But yeah this is basically soft porn, not much of a story here, tho they did satisfy me in the sense of like I wanted them to end up together and it seemed like towards the end they might, tho I'm craving a part 2 or season 2 now, and I wanna see more of a lovey dovey side if possible T-T. I do wanna mention I hated how robotic the therapist acted, like I get it that he was being professional but act human bro, he literally acted and talked like a robot and even during their sessions he had no emotion towards anything bro, I was lowkey wondering if we would see him show any emotional or have any expression in his face at all, thankfully we saw a more human side to him in the last episode but still maybe cause I like the balance of both spicy and romantic scenes I was craving more of the romantic and cute side of the story, but I know this isn't the intention here. Lastly, those positions were so crazy and majority super unrealistic for 2 men ngl, it's just physically impossible ajwdbawhjbdaljwd. But anyway not a horrible watch, I was literally covering my mouth in shock half the time, whenever I watch these kind of series or movies I just wonder what my ancestors are thinking LMAO. But yeah!
Definitely half a kiss, thats literally all we got. This movie was cute honestly, idk what the obsession with chicken is here but it's funny. Wish there was more to them and wish we got more of a past story as well, honestly a little series would be cute! But this was a nice short watch. Just wish we got to see more of them. And honestly I wouldn't have been mad if they've stayed platonic, theres definitely a very brotherly bond here to the point a relationship felt a little off. But overall I rate it a 7/10
I think a lot agree when I say I wanted this to be a throuple, personally I hate love triangles and anything similar where one is let down, I find myself relating to the character being let down more than the one who isn't so it hits home for me. But if it involves a throuple or poly relationship where everyone is happy and loves each other then I'm in! Idk if it was their intention to make it seems like they would all end up together, most likely yes cause the way everyone was acting was beyond platonic, mostly Park Ji Seok and Seo Eun Seok, and the story was very highly focused on Seo Eun Seok rather than the main couple. I feel like this series would've done so much better if the outcome had been different, meaning if they've had all ended together, the main couple was cute but the entire series just put my hopes up for nothing so my spark with the main couple just got lost along the way. I have yet to find a poly/throuple BL where the main couple is a throuple I feel like that would be super interesting to watch. I am sadly a bit disappointed at this outcome, but overall it was a solid short series, very good quality and wholesome, I was pretty interested the entire time but it was mainly cause I wanted to see the outcome of their relationship dynamic. Nonetheless a good 8/10 would've been a good 9 IF IT WAS POLYYYYYYY!!!!
