I was really excited to see Jae-Joon experience his revenge by slowly turning blind and losing all the people around him, only to have him get hit by a car and killed before that could even happen? In literally a 30 minute timeframe in 1 episode. Really disappointing honestlyđ It's not revenge if the person doesn't even know about it
I'm at ep 9. With all the hype this series had i thought the revenge will be a masterpiece of some kind, but at…
Right? I kept watching because i was curious how it was gonna turn out but of off plot alone, it's kinda weak and weirdly planned. It went perfectly but at the same time didn't make much sense
I just don't understand why this show got THAT popular. It's a good show but the plot was really weak to me and I really disliked the main character Dong-Eun, i'm sorry.đ The romance was so forced it would've been better without it. The villians really did safe the show. They we're really amazing actors and their storybuilding was really good
Park Eun Bin was mesmerizing in this. Sheâs always been good but she was truly extraordinary in this. The acting…
Agree! I still don't even know what his job is. Cuz he's not an attorney and the only time you see him is if he's tagging along somewhere outside or when he's bringing in random documents. I thought his character was so sweet, i really wished to see more of him
Absolutely loved it. Though i wished they showed more of her personal life/ her relationship with Jun-ho. Because they were unbelievable sweet together but they didn't show it a lot :(
Was a great Kdrama I watch. Actually My 3rd so far let me see what else to watch i like watching kdrama fantasy…
Most are very romance based but some classics i really enjoyed 'Angels last mission: Love', 'Goblin', "i'm not a robot", 'Strong Woman Do Bong Soo', 'The legend of the Blue Sea', 'W world', 'Hotel Del Luna'
iâm sorry but i have to say this; the plot of this show is absolute sh*t and makes no sense. They literally know each other since childhood and are already in love, WHY IN THE WORLD does Kuea wanna hide his true self so bad, itâs ridiculous. Even after saying he wants to be himself he STILL doesnât tell the truth. This couple has serious communication skill problems for literally no reason, its not even funny. Itâs giving ârich boy making his own life difficult because he has no real issues in lifeâ
I feel they went a little overboard with the ending which brought the show from a 10 to a 7/8 for međŹ I really loved it up until episode 11. Kinn suddenly became very sweet and soft which doesn't really fit with his character as the maffiaboss which they portrayed in the beginning to me. The over the top plottwists at the end were also kinda unnessessary. Just the storyline of the whole mafiaworld would've been action-filled enough without all the extra, weird family things. I guess thats how the book ended so i understand why it ended that way but i would've prefered a different ending lol
For me, the original is already a 10/10 so its gonna be hard to beat, which in my opinion it didn't for me, but its still a really good show in its own right. I would've preferred if they had more artistic freedom to change up the script and characters and stuff but its not an exact copy of the original so i still liked the small changes they made. Also because they only had 6 episodes to show everything they wanted, it felt very fast-paced so i kinda wish they at least had 8 episodes but oh well. Still give it a solid 8.5/10 and i'm excited to see the next season!
Iâm used to historical dramas having very bland female leads because of all the social etiquettes at the time and stuff but my god was that Queen BORING. I simply could not like her and did not care for any of the romance scenes at all
I just finished and I have some questions â didn't shin chi soo want his son to become king? Who tf was that…
Itâs like they ran out of screentime and decided to cut certain scenes or somethingđ In the last 2 episodes it felt kinda rushed and like they skipped over certain things so it got kinda confusing. Lots of things they just decided not to show or explain so we donât know -I dont think Shin Chi Soo wanted his son to become king, since its fairly impossible to make someone king who isnât somehow bloodrelated to the king. -Also when Queen Dowager found out Ha Sun wasnât ACTUALLY the king/guy that killed her son, she figured it wouldnât matter anyways since everyone believes him to be the king and she wants one of her chosen relatives on the throne instead of him -The rebel group was formed in order to achieve a country with a king who cares for the people, and since Ha Sun got on the throne they basically achieved that already so they didnât actually have to do anything lol (pretty useless characters if you think about it) -Pretty sure the Chief Secretary killed the Prince so in case Ha Sun didnât manage to keep the throne, the evil prince wouldnât be able to become king and ruin everything theyâve worked on (since he would have been next in line)
The only thing that annoyed me was the last episode. That whole useless âoh no, he died in the endâ plottwist was so bad and unnessesary, and it came out of nowhere, i think no one who watched it actually believe he died. I much rather wouldâve seen a scene lf him being reunited with his sister instead of him randomly appearing in a field after 3 years but ok lol. Other than that the show was a solid 8/10
This is the very first kdrama i had ever watched. I remember being very confused about everything because i didnât know anything about korean history. And also the whole style in which they make the drama, with the very exaggerated storyline and fighting scenes and everything, it took a lot of getting used to, but to this day this is my favorite drama of all time
I hate that with shows like this you have to turn your brain of and TRY not to get offended by the fact that in chinese dramas, girls with either curly hair, glasses, tanner skin, freckles/pimples or all of the above is considered ugly. Cuz sheâs clearly a very pretty girl and we have to pretend sheâs not stunning however way she looks
the irony though of you calling them "deranged, crazy people" and calling the show insensitive, lol. I didn't…
Yea i get it now, but i felt like i got attacked for a random comment i made about a tv show so idk how to react to that xD but its whatever. Thanks for the lovely comment though and hope you'll stay happy and healthy too!
the irony though of you calling them "deranged, crazy people" and calling the show insensitive, lol. I didn't…
Yea i get it. I've struggled with depression/suicidal thoughts as well but because i'm more of a silent sufferer, i felt the way they showed it in the show was overdoing it/ not being 'inclusive' enough that depression doesnt just look one way. But just because you've had the same experience doesn't mean you are an expert at that topic i guess hahah
the irony though of you calling them "deranged, crazy people" and calling the show insensitive, lol. I didn't…
I literally SAID i dont think these people are crazy and deranged. I tried to explain myself to the best of my ability in a language thats not my first language and now y'all are making me seen the bad guy, even though i'm just commenting on a f*cking show and how i dont like how they portray their message. But yea sure, i guess i'm the ass now, thanks
the irony though of you calling them "deranged, crazy people" and calling the show insensitive, lol. I didn't…
I'm saying the show makes suicidal people look 'crazy and deranged', which is not at all the reality, and that bothered me. I'm just giving my opinion on how the show makes ME feel, and i'm not even being mean about it so tf? I understand the message they want to send out with this show but in MY opinion its not been 100% succesful.
I'm 3 episodes in right now and honestly i'm not sure how to feel about it. I dont like the way they portray suicidal people. It feels insensitive to people who suffer from depression or are struggling with suicidal thoughts. Edit: i'm leaving this (edited) comment for future viewers but honestly i want nothing more than to delete it cuz i did not mean any harm but i'm seen as the bad guy anyways for just stating an opinion. Anyways have a good day y'all, bye
