How is this rated 8,1 but i see a lot of negative comments😂 tbh the first episode already annoys me, i dont care for the leads at all

I'm halfway through the show rn and idk, something about this show makes me kinda annoyed while watching it but i cant put my finger on it😂 like sometimes i have to take a break during or inbetween episodes while i'm usually more of a binge-watcher, but i still keep coming back to it every time

I agree! When that blind date girl entered the show i was fully prepared to be annoyed at her because she was gonna cause unnessassary and dumb misunderstandings between the leads but i was pleasantly suprised she actually left when Si Cheng asked her to😂

Dont know anything about the novel but i was honestly suprised that they talked about sex at all in the series😂 usually in kdramas and cdramas they pretend sex doesn't exist lol, so that was already shocking to me

People think Cheng Xiao is bad at acting in this?! I'm usually very sensitive to bad/cringy acting but i didnt have any complaints in this show at all. I think theyre all great wth

Haha yea i had the same thing. I think they censored it so much i dont get any BL vibes at all. Also the book and the show are completely different that even most of the storyline isn't the same. Idk its very weird, i'm not sure where all the hype came from

Its actually really hard to rate this show because if i were to watch it without knowing the novel was originally a BL i would honestly give it a 2 lol. The actors are greatly casted but thats about it. The special effects are awful, the side characters aren't great and the storyline is either hard to follow or just doesn't make sense. And tbh i'm not getting much BL vibes because they left out a lot from the book. I'd honestly recommend skipping the show altogether and just reading the book

Depends on how you feel about death and stuff tbh. Its a beautiful show but it shows you how unfair death can be for the deceased and the people they leave behind, so yes it made me cry a lot and also kinda sad lol

This makes me so sad about how unfair death can be, because there will always be misunderstandings or secrets that you will only find out when its already too late.

I just finished it and i honestly thought the show was really good? Yes the FL's character was very annoying and it would have been better without her but the romance didn't appear much anyways. I actually felt kinda bad for her, the first part of the show he was just decieving her and the latter half of the show they still weren't really dating lmao. The storyline was fun to watch. Tho it was very cliche and predictable sometimes i'd still give this show a 7,5.

I have to be honest and say that its actually quite hard to get through this series because the storyline is very complex and they keep adding different characters and names without really giving you time to learn who they are. I'm at episode 22 right now and i'm honestly so confused about who these people they are talking about are and stuff. This show also consists a lot of long dialogue scenes with lots of backstories that make my brain hurt trying to follow it lol

I like the whole idea of the show, with the AI and everything, but the execution just wasn't that great lol. You know when you watch a series that started out fun but everytime they add a new season the storyline gets more and more ridiculous and unrealistic? Thats what this show felt like in the span of 16 episodes. Also whats with the sudden ugly ass emo-looking hairstyle of Kang Gi-Beom in the last few episodes lmao, that just added to my annoyance of this show

Does it have a happy ending?? I figured it would but then i saw some very minor spoilers and now im not so sure how its gonna end..

This series was really cutee, tho not my favorite. I felt like MuRen didnt like Li Cheng as much as Li Cheng likes Muren so sometimes i felt kinda bad for him lol. Also i liked the pairing with Xingsu and Yong Jie way more, i was very invested in their relationship hhh

This drama gives me "i'm a homophobe but i know BL's make a lot of money" vibes, big yikes. I dont blame the actors at all because i've seen them from other shows and they were all great, but holy shit this show is a load of crap. I dropped it after 8 episodes because i couldn't imagine it getting any better but the plain homophobia made me so so uncomfortable. The male lead was very unlikable

Yea i agree about the last episode. Too me it felt like i missed an episode or something? They left too many things open and the way they broke up and suddenly got together again made 0 sense. It looked like there was no real ending hh. Also the disney scenes would have been cute as bonus scenes after the credits or something but not in the middle of the episode. I'm kinda sad about it, the last episode is literally the most important, and it took the show from a 9 to a 7 for me

In terms of BL, this is honestly the best show i've ever watched. It manages to shade BL dramas and the entire BL industry while still being a great BL drama with a really cute and non-problematic couple. Honestly this show is pure genius

Unrelated to this show but as a kdrama fan its hilarious to see the evolution of product placements in these shows xD a couple years back it would just be a 1 sec shot on a certain brand or a 'lets eat at subway' and now its evolved to a whole dedicated scene about 'i want coffee but im lazy, here take this amazing caffiënated coffee flavored candy!' lmao
