@Sav So you Dropped it after watching 2 episodes. Then again, it does require patience and a mature nature to understand the dialogue is necessary.

I see the "creature" in the title as the Japanese. An allegory. I too love dialogue-heavy shows, and in this drama it's necessary. I felt like I was standing right there listening with them during the dialogue scenes. Writer Kang Eun Kyung has done really well with this.

Close proximity between a male and female in dangerous situations, or any other situation really, over a period of time will usually draw the 2 closer. I didn't mind the dialogues. Usually we don't get enough dialogue in dramas. How many times have we heard "there wouldn't be any misunderstandings if they would just talk to each other". Too, I appreciate the writer bringing in the viewer as if we're standing right there among them.

Addressing a drama in comparison to a real world ongoing war isn't normal. Neither is comparing an East Asian country to a Middle Eastern country.

It isn't an opinion on the drama itself, but was used to insert your view/opinion about a real world war into the comments, which is a problem. This isn't Facebook (Meta),Twitter (now X), Truth Social, or any other social media site which most people use for news, AND venting.

You could have scrolled on by without commenting since you found "It's so difficult to watch". You'd persuaded an account because of your comment not to watch this KOREAN DRAMA based on your opinion, without that account considering the hundreds of comments FOR the drama.

There are social media sites for expressing your opinion/views. MDL is for drama and movie fans. It isn't a social media site. MDL accounts utilize MDL because they enjoy dramas/movies from the East Asian region, and after hearing numerous comments across MDL, they want to get away from real life issues.

Someone wasn't focused on the drama, apparently. Their chemistry wasn't hard to miss otherwise.

So do I. It kept me on the edge of my seat (so to speak) wondering what was going to happen next and what info was forthcoming. There was SO much info given in the first 3 episodes regarding the numerous characters. Maybe the drama is actually for those who have a more mature nature, such as yourself. It's full with minutiae details, glances, hints, etc. I could see the chemistry between the 2 leads. This might be Park Seo Joon's best acting in this role.

Tabloid journalism (which by all means is ANYthing other than journalism) mixes factual material on arrests, divorces, marriages and pregnancies, obtained from official records, with more speculative gossip stories, rumors, and innuendo about romantic relationships, affairs, and purported personal problems.

In the aftermath of Lee Sun Hyun's death, "NEWS" such as this, Jan 2, 2024, should be called out as contributing to the devastation of celebrities' private lives.

If this comment is allowed to stand, then it is open season on political positions to take over what IS a drama and movie lover's fan site. It only takes one or 2 comments to get the ball rolling for what could potentially take over MDL. Accounts with differing opinions will respond, and thus arguments will start over something that isn't even drama/movie based.

The 19 hour interrogation was on Saturday, Dec 23 & finished in the early morning hours on the 24th. He died on the morning of the 27th, 3 days later.

I thought it unnecessary and disrespectful for International fans of Lee Sun Hyun to rant under an announcement of his death, at first. Now, almost 2 weeks after, I realize it is necessary and it isn't disrespectful when a site like MDL is the ONLY recourse for venting our frustration, anger, and grief. People need a place to talk. Together. It's an extremely important part of the healing process.
