We're all STILL in shock Lee Sun Kyun's soul was so oppressed and persecuted to the point of needing to leave this world, and it continues with so-called writers describing his death as "the incident", which devalues him as a person and basically makes his decision out to be of little importance.

I wish South Korean male actors AND female actresses would embrace their true unique skin tones. It's very distracting to see such pale unhealthy tones. Seriously the photos above could pass for corpses (with makeup on like funeral homes do). Sometimes their appearances with the makeup, pale skin, and now more not being able to express their emotions has me adding the drama to the Dropped list.

It was just a question I had. The biggest problem here is of the huge gap. You mentioned pedo in another comment. If the writer doesn't squash the direction it appears to be moving in then it will be rightfully labled, based entirely on the actress and actor's ages. Pairing a 29 year old actress in the role of an unmarried seeking a match for marriage, and the matchmaker knowing the huge age gap and saying "they would make a lovely COUPLE" WITH a 12 year old actor in the role of the CP with the connotation of having him be the next in line to the title of HEIR to the throne IF he's wedded IS the problem.

Yes, writer Han Soo Jin, the director, and casting chose to cast & use a 29 year old adult actress and a 12 year old child actor. My questions are: Was this pairing/interaction different between them in the original script, or was it changed to include a "controversy" thus upping the ratings of the drama? If it was the first, then I wish they'd gone with the original. If the second, I have no words for the moral low they were willing to go JUST to have better ratings. As another commented "But i also think it could have been written better to ensure that there isn't such ambiguity about their interaction so that it could not be viewed as somewhat romantic." Was the ambiquity on purpose?
What bothers me just as much is the attitude of those who think others' personal opinions, which we're STILL able to express, should align with their own. The last time I stepped out of my door our opinions are PERSONAL and haven't been squashed yet. How utterly arrogant of some people to think we should ALL think the same way.
I will not compare this drama's huge age gap with any other drama that has had a huge age gap whether they've been male older than the female OR female older than the male. My point is is that if BOTH parties aren't of ADULT age then HUGE age gaps are immoral. And NO, I don't entertain whataboutisms.
