Alright, I've exhausted my search for the older woman (the mother-in-law) who has been taking care of her daughter-in-law. I thought she was Ye Soo Jung, but she isn't listed in the cast here on MDL, nor on asianwiki in the cast, nor anywhere else in the cast. SO who is she??? She looks exactly like Ye Soo Jung. Please tell me they've just omitted her from the cast list EVERYWHERE.
I appreciated the article b/c it helped remind me of what NOT to watch. I think Song's acting days were over once…
Not necessarily better back in Full House. More unguarded. She didn't filter her responses/reactions to whoever she was playing against, or in the differing situations. I don't know the correct wording, so please forgive me. She didn't have a "I should look like this in this scene, or react in this scene, so the camera will see me as I WANT it to be seen by by fans and sponsers" and "Showing too much emotion will make my face look unattractive so I should use less emotion" filter. If one looks objectively at DOTS (which I ABSOLUTELY LOVED & not for any certain actor but for the story) one can see she wasn't as relaxed in her acting and was being guarded, and it was the beginning of the end of her "talent" as far as acting goes.
Do NOT get me wrong. I love her as a commercial and print actor. She dominates for an extremely good reason...her visuals are superb.
But being a beautiful actor (popular) isn't the same as being a skilled actor.
I hadn't realized he had done just 3 films (2 in 2008 & 1 in 2010) from 2007 (drama) to 2016 (his next drama). What was occupying his time for 9 years? I'm thankful he returned full time.
What a pointless trailer (unless you're a big fan of embroidery). I wonder if the FL will manage to emote in this…
I appreciated the article b/c it helped remind me of what NOT to watch. I think Song's acting days were over once she dominated CF. Got to keep up that image, ya know. Long gone are her Full House acting days. Everything since has been to play to the camera rather than to hone her skill (?) as an actor. BUT if one wants to have a successful drama or movie then cast her solely for her popularity.
I'm surprised kisskh chose to include the derogatory word for people who collaborated with Japan in its early history. In America we have derogatory words (the N word, the C word, etc) for people that we do NOT use EVER unless you're using the words to incite. Builbae would've been a much better word to use to describe her grandfather.
Who was representing Lee Seung Gi with Hook Entertainment all these years? Surely he had a manager or someone as a go-between or was he relying on his "good" reationship with Kwon Jin Young to see to his benefit? I don't think the public will ever know what's really going on behind the scene.
If you ever thought the people who dress the cast are the ones who make the decisions in the "looks" of the different characters then this woman is the perfect example of NO, they don't. She wears the same dressing-younger-than-my-age-and-haven't-figured-out-how-to-pull-it-off-so-it-doesn't-look-tacky outfits and hairstyles in every drama she's in. Add too the pink lipstick and the outlandish fingernails. Maybe that's part of her "character" on the shows. IDK. She's great at playing despicable characters who we love to hate, and that makes her an excellent actress.
Jun Mi Sun will be forever missed. Such an incredibly talented woman to be taken too soon by the most devious soul wretching means. I'm talking about depression of which I've had from my teens on, including now in my 60s. It's a fight for existence each second of the day. I don't fault those who have struggled and not made it. I just hope one day the answer will be given for our struggle. I ask WHY everyday. I love my Lord Jesus, but it's dramas/movies and sites such as kisskh that keeps me grounded.
One day you WILL be the main lead in an awesome drama, and you will soar!!! Hopefully, with a role which enables you to speak english along with your native language. I''m from the South in the US and you have a distinct southern twang when speaking english. Love You!!! 🥰🥰
Have you not googled the term? Black comedy/dark comedy describes the form of humor and it's to amuse by showing…
LOL. It would do you good to learn proper english. Adding "a" in front of Black comedy and capitalizing the b in black indicates...I've resorted to replying to an idiot. Reminder to me: Must stop interacting w/they of little intelligence who are troublemakers & projectionists.
hmmmmmm ok i am keeping this on my radar. sageuks and messy drama are always fun
I was very reluctant to watch UTQU. The synopsis just didn't draw me in, but Kim Hye Soo being the FL did. I knew if she chose to do this drama it had to be worthwhile. I'm on episode 4 and just started today (Saturday Nov 5th). So far, I've rated each episode a 9 or above and I don't give that rating lightly. Seriously, I absolutely LOVE sageuks. UTQU isn't the usual historical fiction.
