i really did not understand the GP in ep 4, the big change in his behaviour! does that shift symbolize his ascension/embracing his fate? also we saw a looooot of his reactions/emotions in the first half of ep4, but nothing since he kills the minister... (except at the end when he was angry at playing baduk alone ...which tells we almost have a different character than the chivalrous one of first 3 eps?)

i really like this show so far, except for the disguise trope that needs to end fast. imagine if they keep the deception until mid season😭 the plot is that she'll spy on him and we know next episode hés king! love the buildup so far! and the king's (older brother) mental state is really well played! i don't think i ever saw such a good depiction of a dellusional/manipulated king

i looooove how they took the time to reveal wolshim's past from her point of view! its a partial reveal well done! completely changed the story, and it ties together with the religious theme!

ep 14 was the best so far!! story and performance of main actors!! i find this episode finally make the main actors shine ! i find they used the themes really well except perhaps some convenient ' memory games'
but ugh ... the ending& little teaser point to another cliché trope...
I got the impression that deity turned him into a demon for he went killing people not based on wicked nature,…
really liked the explanation! basically an 'angel' of death , or a judge in hell is what a deamon is according to deity , or else i find this part of the story very shallow
