i just finished watching, and i really really appreciate you taking the time to add these sidenotes for context! adding a 'fictional creature' in a very painful past exaggerates but never undermines the injustices of the past. i connected a lot with the story knowing the horrible state of the world even in the present time in different nations :(
i really appreciated the dialogues between enemies (kato & chae ok , maeda & tae sang) on injustice and betrayal
THE ENDING!!!! if you watch past the last credit, we see where cho ends in the water, i loooved this ending! but even after, we see a tv a present day korea!!! this reallyyyy confused me !!! also the last 'dream' scene in ep 7 was a forward moment, so i still have so many questions!
No hate. Everyone have different taste. But this story isn't for me. The story is stupid, depressing even. The…
wow your comment took me aback! iwas about to start it after i saw so much positive reviews! u mention exactly the things i try to avoid in a drama😅
it's not misleading to me, it's obvious that they're flashbacks.. tbh if you remove those scenes it's hard to…
exactly! it made me think as how they decide what we know prior to some events to create a 'surprise reveal ' from the past... or why the ML/FML reacted that way etc... to create mystery and suspense! most of the early episodes we didn't know about FML feelings and why she broke up with him! i wish i knew sooner
I usually love this kind of story, especially that it's about a buisness woman! i really liked how she is going back to her roots, but it felt quite awkward and odd to see almosr 20 years of her almost vanish.
I also don't like the long flashback here and there XD i liked their original formula of "epilogues" at the end, but they kept adding more from the past all over.... I get why we need the context but it's just misleading progression. I'm still following the show, but I felt this show takes a lot of shortcuts
i'm really curious about the remaining episodes! the show felt like a stitch of many tropes, definitely not perfect...but they held the standard high enough for me! I really appreciated the themes of the show ( usually displayed as their episode titles like chaos, despair, anguish etc)
some negative feedback: - I never thought a ML could become MORE and LESS shallow at the same time as the show progressed. - not enough backstory or evolution of the enemy ( especially the lady who seems very powerful) - had some stranger things vibe with the sci fi - no spoiler but some elements don't add up
some positive feedback - the period style was superb -I loved all the characters and their evolution (almost) - i loved the underground rebellious vibes (Especially the nuance within it) - main story is very interesting and terrific -loved the episode titles -a light romance touch, i didn't think it was over/underdone
the story and characters are amazing! its a classic fantastical kdrama. the execution is a bit strangr(speedy events, some characters a little overtheatrical ) but its getting better and better! really loved the tango scene it was unique!! and the newspaper one too! we are seeing the water element repeated, its maybe a important part of the story...
the main leads are so young it has its pro and cons!
I just started, its so bingeable ! My biggest let down is the first ep, where the doona’s actions where hard to understand, but i get it later.
Love suzy’s acting in this one!
Got reminded of some scenes in start up , which is very annoying 😅 (the facing each each other accross the street and some locations)
I absolutely love the figurative and imagery here The ML has a realistic & genuine personality well acted too. Which is very rare!! Both main characters are consistent and their evolution is palpable , yet realistic.
I see a lot of ‘toxic’ which ring completely tru in the beginning. Definitely not a fan of the other characters! Excited to watch the rest!
Have you missed the part that days together ML was was in pain whenever she touched him..Please watch without…
Unrealistic is the word. Even if it has magic , characters are supposed to be realistic and the plot too… too bad because i feel completely disconnected from the characters story! The backstory from the past doesnt even help because its botched and cut into do many mini scenes we barely understsnd anything…
Been saying ‘ hope next episode thing will move more in the plot,´ everytime! I am also disappointed in the story and the love story and the past revelation… So many thing were dragged or left untold now its just frustrating ðŸ«
