last bit of ep 5 and the confrontation was phenomenal! DID U NOTICE how mong woo is probably the only person receiving his full face(emotion & anger and direct questions) of the king compared to others? he knows mong woo is his match!

i feel there is more to discover about the last 3 years.
notable points:
- so hee questionned if there was any other reason for the previous baduk prince dying (as if she knew the king must have good reasons or unconsciously looking for positive)
- king telling mong woo about the death report, as if there was more to say
loving the show so far!

this was my biggest question for ep 4! i hope your interpretation is right!

i really did not understand the GP in ep 4, the big change in his behaviour! does that shift symbolize his ascension/embracing his fate?
also we saw a looooot of his reactions/emotions in the first half of ep4, but nothing since he kills the minister... (except at the end when he was angry at playing baduk alone ...which tells we almost have a different character than the chivalrous one of first 3 eps?)

there's the king and brother, sister (hong jo) and brother, father and son (minister of was) , the daywon queen & her sons, all these relations are displayed and layered and masterfully written.
i am scared to be disappointed now bc i like the show and it's been a while since i could enjoy all aspects , cinematic, acting, plot, complexity...

i really like this show so far, except for the disguise trope that needs to end fast. imagine if they keep the deception until mid season😭 the plot is that she'll spy on him and we know next episode hés king! love the buildup so far! and the king's (older brother) mental state is really well played! i don't think i ever saw such a good depiction of a dellusional/manipulated king

exactly i am super curious to understand why some saw so much cuddly warm fizzy healing? is it projection

watched the first two episodes and i hate they stretched the gender /identify hidden...

IF THEY DONT REVEAL SHE'S A SHE to the prince in the next episode... i'm out!

it was a satisfying predictable ending. a little idylic but super kdrama-y !
