i think they actually parallel themselves or at least try! i love that the character is unbothered by it as much as i thought she would be.. and the younger actress is showing this strong vocal 'elderly' vibe sometimes . the key is to u understand that the mi jin is grateful for her new job and is trying to take advantage of her elderly appearance( im thinking about the candy she gave haha)

i think the way the power works is that its already happened and what dodahee lived is what actually happened. the mystery is that we dont know WHAT happened! the show is made in a way that the viewer will discover at the same time as present time gwi jo
this is such an amazing show! the plotting around is entretaining and meaningful. iSPOILER I know many fear the non changing future future theory and i think its the right one for this show. BUT! didnt the grandma see an empty coffin? i mean they r pretty much hinting at us that probably wat happened to dodahe 'missing' is gonna be the same for gwi joo! and i am hoping for a new level of power where he actually teleports w her before the roof collapses in the school.
i thought it was super cringe and bad writing to have a similar accident but its well done!
there's obviously the biggest mystery of why her? why the yellow door? the yellow colour being a strong imagery! i hope they reveal it & thit gets renewed and it gets renewed!

i think the key was the shaved icecream bowl. it was bringing an element from the future , first it was the flowers, now the shaved ice cream, and tomorrow, the ring.
