for me this is Liu Yu nings best drama. His styling is so much better than in his recent dramas like dream withing…
i think his role in pearl girl was more round that this one. here it felt a bit more scripted. but LYN is among my favourite actors his performances are always outstanding. in each of his dramas there was good and bad, his fighting scenes here were flawless, and his dynamic with his sidekicks too but it comes really close to adwad. on the other end his romantic couple in pearl girl for me was the best there is so far , even better than the long ballad and the prisoner of beauty. for adwad i found it was his best performance and very witty , the romantic part with FL was a bit too stiff and the suffering of ML was so exaggerated( even if on purpose) ... the story itself in ajtl was really good but it takes like half the episodes to understand the grandeur of the story.
On the other hand, the series is amazing, I especially loved the sense of adventure and the stages they go through…
i think u should finish it. the characters bounce between life and death all the time, i think what this couple and this show really show is to not fear death but to fear separation which is beautiful and tragic but well done
Y'all I still can't believe they played two songs from here in ADWAD... they even played some of the bgm like…
omg exactly i was so shocked!! i watched adwad before this and the links are so many! i wondered what was that fighting scene in the first ep of adwad, so its such a funny reference!! i wonder if we can read into it to understand the ending of adwad. honestly i wanted to like adwad more than this, but each show had its strengths and lows, i think ML performance was better in adwad but the support cast in ajtl is so outstanding and nuanced, more than adwad.
I disliked the obsessive 2nd ML character who took over most of the show, completely unnecessary to draw that…
i agreeeeee i watched because of other performances of ML, i think the Main leads were amazing and this show was so well produced but it was a bit too sensationalist in terms of couple power, it wasnt as believable and intuitive as other shows like the pearl girl. but their fighting scenes together were my favourite. i think ren was an oustanding character well played, its the romance that felt slightly off for me. the princess character in the ending is a well played character but me too i dont understand why she got so much screentime in the end. i was expecting the other princess at least. or a hint of a mended relationship with the marquis. i guess the writers wanted us to rely on past scenes of him 'not crying anymore ' lol i was expecting tragedy already so im less shocked.
The ending wasn't as sad as I thought? I was fully prepared for everyone to die (including ML since some people's…
i agree, i thought i missed something ??but the boy clearly says its his parents! and the fact that we don't actually see them dead in their last fights is also telling. i was mentally prepared for them to die hahaha but it was nice the writers gave main couple that happy end
I find Miji's story more compelling as well. I really do have a hard time with the fact that Hosu has never seemed…
so we see when she sees hosu again as teenager, the other school guy asks her out and she accepts... i think that would explain him backing out. but i think we are still missing hosu 'POV' of how he moved on? we only got tiny hints of his POV. i'm really curious about what happened between hosu and mirae as they were rumored and we never got clarification. i also think there was an implied misunderstanding between miji and hosu caused by hosu's mom , but i never understood. it was mentionned in the beginning.
wait don't tell me that the retired police who investigated the prosecutor mom's case is the intern? that's make…
wow!!! agreee but i didnt try to predict the reveal of the FL so soon! the former hospital director trope makes total sense but i want to think the puzzle mystery would be harder to solve LOL!! i had the same thought for the cat bc she was looking at her missing announcement! didn't think about the interns involvement but that would be so cool and k-drama perfect
The killer IS Cheol Gyu as he is a former Hospital Director and who can know better than him about pain relief…

It's a light and humorous watch but I'm not that convinced that the older and younger actresses are the same character.…
i think they actually parallel themselves or at least try! i love that the character is unbothered by it as much as i thought she would be.. and the younger actress is showing this strong vocal 'elderly' vibe sometimes . the key is to u understand that the mi jin is grateful for her new job and is trying to take advantage of her elderly appearance( im thinking about the candy she gave haha)
i feel like this was scripted and written for 2020 or even earlier and not 2024... its a bit overdone which is too bad bc the story is already so cool! i like the light vibe, reminds me of classic kdramas, but they go a bit tacky sometimes. waiting for the ML to catch up on the level of the FLeads!!! they are fire& awesome!!
