I've been reading a lot of comments on 'it's just in the dorm'. I think when we went in to watch the drama we…
yeah it's a lot more fun to let the drama writer lead the story wherever they want to, rather than make expectations and get disappointed when reality is different
What kang mo did is what a normal person would do. But man where' s the experience you got from being an ANSP…
Sorry if it was not clear - she gave Youngro the key to hide there. But I don't think the girl knew what she would find there. She must have been shocked that Ms Pi was spying on all of them...

yeah her job was to create diversion and separate the NK spies, so they could be dealt with one by one.
As for Youngro, she suddenly finds this spy den in the dorm mistress' office, it would be natural to be curious and try the equipment... but it is possible they asked her to listen, so she knows how the evacuation goes/where the spies are/when she can leave her hiding place
those short moments when ISH heaved a sigh of relief after finding EYR first plus the knocking code thing, okay…
I don't think he had any plans for Youngro hiding in the secret room, other than her to disappear and create a diversion among the NK contingent.
As for why releasing the girls - since Suho was still reluctant to act, he saw it as his best bet to save their lives. If they are seen leaving the dorm, even if not by journalists but the soldiers surrounding the building, the ANSP could not easily kill them anymore. Even their own military would rebel...
I am still curious about Ms. Pi. I still don't get her game plan. What is she and why did she wiretrap the whole…
What we know so far is that she/the ANSP bugged the whole building to spy on students, to find the democracy activists among them. But she refuses to actually rat the girls out.
However, I'm not sure if that is all she is... she might be a double agent of some kind, with her past in Germany and a code name that is suspiciously like NK ones.
Same. I'm not getting any romantic vibes from her. Soo ho is in love with a SK, someone he's not suppose to love.…
Yeah this is not a school drama where the only thing that bothers the leads is their love life or the lack of it. They have to escape a death trap and then presumably expose the wrongdoings of high ranking officials in two warring countries... they are kinda busy for romance shenanigans xD
I don't know if it's because I've been skipping the wives scenes or what but I get absolutely no romancey vibes…
yeah the kdrama cliche when they introduce a "strong" woman (often demonstrated by her being rude as hell), only to fall in love and lose her edge, so heroic ML can save her multiple times... 🙄
I don't know if it's because I've been skipping the wives scenes or what but I get absolutely no romancey vibes…
Exactly, she is like the only competent spy of the lot: Suho struggles with his emotions for a girl, Gyeokchan has anger control issues, Eungcheol is a kid playing bad boy. Can't say I'm not pleased to see a woman being more badass than everyone else combined 😂
To those who forgot about the detonator bombs : there’s only 1 or 2 and SH lied to tve detective saying he put…
There were at least two such bombs (they show explosions in the cafeteria and at the other end of the building). And once the building is shaken by those two, other ones might go off because their wires are triggered.
They, or at least most of them, probably survived because the bombs at the main staircase were disarmed, to allow the girls go to the washroom in the basement (it's not solely for Bunok...), and the ones at the entrance door were inactivated too.
But the youngest comrade was left in the cafeteria, he might be dead. The son of the old man was also somewhere in the second floor, so maybe we got rid of him. Bunok was probably safe in the bathroom, it doesn't have an outside window, so no explosives set up there.
I wonder why everyone seems to buy Dr Kang's soppy love story? Even if it has a grain of truth in it, like she really met Suho like that first... she is a high ranking spy. She is in full control of her emotions, has been living undercover for almost two decades.
She would never let mushy feelings get the better of her. If she doesn't trust Suho, it is because she can see how he is going soft for a girl and starts doubting his indoctrination.
Also, when she was grilled by the nosy seamstress about being single, she couldn't exactly say "I'm not married because love means nothing compared to my mission, where I'm the mistress of a powerful man of the enemy government to spy on him"
Yes she is too obsessed 😁 or only once got her type of guy! Mostly agents and people in forces marry late so…
This story is not at all true or based on a true story, it is 100% fiction. The notes were part of the inspiration, just like the writer's own experience of living in a women's dorm. But the things that spark a writer's imagination are not necessarily recognizable in the finished script... especially in one that was in the development phase for over a decade.
why does kang moo want to free the hostages? though he knew SK would be mad at him if he did that.
He was never afraid of going against his orders, if he thought necessary. And he is still human, unlike his higher-ups... plus he probably worked out that he himself would be one of the casualties anyway.
He just hates rich men bossing over him. Bunok got her by the underprivileged card, and he is happily submissive…
Just find it ironic that the girl who gave hell to Youngro for unknowingly falling for a spy, is now shooting heart eyes at someone she knows to be a spy. The guy who acted so pure in his ideology is falling for a pretty capitalist girl. And the fandom that deemed the love of Suho and Youngro no more possible after what happened, is now melting for another couple as if they were not spy and hostage just the same 😂

Hope Snowdrop will do better than that!

And I have a very cynical idea why some people try to hype ANYONE but the main leads...
