And what about those people in South Korea who watch it? There are more of them than people who signed the petition...…
And there are, I'm sure, a high number of Koreans who don't find the drama itself offensive, just aren't interested in it, or are watching something else on the weekends. Its ratings are similar to other jtbc dramas lately, and better than their previous two dramas in the same time slot. Makes it hard to believe there is a massive boycott going on.
"The Koreans". Really ? 50 millions Koreans said they don't want it ?! Wouah, I probably must call my Koreans…
No worries, the good folk who wanted to cancel the drama helpfully labelled them as traitors, Chinese/Japanese agents, nazis, and suggested them to move to North Korea. Because they are the champions of democracy, obviously.
"Saying that it's only fiction is very insensitive. It's ignoring people who were hurt during the 1987 events…
And what about those people in South Korea who watch it? There are more of them than people who signed the petition... Are they all agents from foreign countries? Or fans who moved in to simp over oppa?
I don't necessarily think it's "talking over Koreans" to point out content in the drama that refutes the claims…
It is okay for some international viewers to spread lies they read about the drama, but not okay for other international viewers to point out that the accusations are not true...
1. Who is NK spy ? Isn't it miss oh ? If not, why they are locking her up in the basement ? Let's say she seems…
It is pretty sure he had something to do with that, whether he did it himself or just helped the killer... plus there is still the folded photo of Ms Pi, another secret that must be related to what is going on
3. Now that KCY is out of the dorm, so what are the SWAT team and NTI waiting for ? Isn't it a good timing to…
Nam Teil was too busy making out with her, and then sucking up to the president to act until now... But after all, they are not in a big hurry, since the people inside are trapped anyway. If the explosion happens closer to the election, emotions will be higher and there would be less time to question the narrative they present. Like they shut up the 30 released girls, but if they see their friends dead, what if some of them lose it and start to speak?

They publicly said that they had to abandon the previous attack, because the spies strapped explosives on every hostage. After that, if they go back right away, it would be hard to spin it to their benefit? Waiting at least a few hours makes sense
1. Who is NK spy ? Isn't it miss oh ? If not, why they are locking her up in the basement ? Let's say she seems…
They believe she is the NK spy, because she apologized when they interrogated her. But it might have been only her fragile mental state... or, of course, she might be just pretending to be unstable
I don't think as FOREIGNERS we really have a say on this. IT IS PROBLEMATIC. Yes, okay it is a good drama but…
And here we are, another lie. The drama is NOT funded by a Chinese company. Jtbc the network had an investment from a Chinese company. It happened AFTER Snowdrop was commissioned and written, and has nothing to do with the content of the drama. Please stop spreading misinformation.
The chief dude who has bad taste in clothes said "her" so the mole is female. Probably not the cook tho.
These are not true pronouns as in English, and they might be used in literature or in special circumstances, but not in spoken, everyday language.
κ·Έ literally means "that" as in, that thing/person we've talked about. λ is used to make it feminine - κ·Έλ exists but it is more of the influence of English as direct translation of "she/her". λ₯Ό and μ are particles that show the function of a noun or pronoun in the sentence.
In spoken language, for third person they usually use the name, occupation, or kinship term to refer to a person.
" It basically sends up hidden messages where it undermines the people who fought for democracy and died in 1987"…
lol do you know that they didn't only try to get Snowdrop cancelled, they even petitioned for the abolishment of jtbc itself for "airing unconstitutional content"... talk about overreaction.
Because they are the champions of democracy, obviously.
